Today was a busy day at Pokestyle. So many customers were coming and going as the morning was hectic. Dawn was busy with a shaggy Stoutland, May had her hands full curling a Swanna's feathers and Serena was adding black and blue highlights to Maylene's hair. Once she was finished, she gave her a mirror to look through as the fighting type gym leader smiled and says,"Perfect. Lucario and I now match with sporting colors," as Serena says,"I'm sure your pokemon will love it." Serena then gave her two small boxes while saying,"These are the colors for the highlights. Reapply them the way I showed you every month if you want to keep them bright." After thanking her for her services, she went to pay up front as the Kalos trainer smiled. May saw and says,"Wow. You seem to have a great connection with any customer you get." Serena smiled as Dawn says after finishing up her customer,"May is right. Even the grumpiest ones seem to relax and smile when you're with them." The Kalos trainer says,"It's probably just a gift. Besides, I'm sure you guys are able to do it as well. It just takes the right person or customer to do so." Soon, Serena had to attend to another customer as May and Dawn waited for their next customers to be called up. For Dawn, she had an elderly man who wanted a light trim, but for May, she was in for a surprise. Her next customer turned out to be a hesitant Misty. In shock, May says,"Misty, I didn't think you were one to be in a place like this." The Cerulean gym leader says,"I'm not one for this, but my older sister Daisy is making me do this. A reporter is coming by later to do a story about our gym and Daisy wanted us to look our best. I tried to argue my case, but she made an appointment here for me anyway. How unbelievable is that"?! May says,"Well, I'm sure she was only trying to do what's best for you, though I'm completely on your side in this scenario." Misty smiled before saying,"I'm glad it's you who will be doing my hair. If it was anyone else aside from you, Dawn and Serena, I would be against doing it at all. Even though I don't let anyone usually do anything with my hair unless it's by a professional or someone I trust." May smiled before guiding her friend to a chair and putting a cape around her. May then untied Misty's signature ponytail before brushing out her hair with a blue comb. Misty started to relax a bit before saying,"I'm just looking for a trim. Nothing much." May says,"I can do that, but why not something...different? I know you have your opinions, but I think I know a style that you might like." Misty liked the sound of it as she says,"Ok. I've actually been wanting to do something other than my regular ponytail." After a while, May brought Misty over to the wash stations, helping her to a sink. Leaning her head back, Misty allowed the running water to douse her hair, leaving a content smile on her face. May soon grabbed a bottle and poured out a snow white liquid in one of her hands before applying it to Misty's hair. The Cerulean trainer seemed to enjoy it as she gave a light giggle. Back with Dawn and Serena, they were chatting away while working on their customers.
Dawn says,"So, anything new between you and Ash"? Serena says,"Not much Dawn. Still the loveable trainer like normal. He did compliment the haircut May gave me the other day. Said it gave a more beautiful vibe than normal. Braixen is definitely enjoying hers, which is also good. What's with you though? Have you finally talked to Paul"? Dawn says,"We've chatted, but we are taking it slow. You know how he is with his training and everything. He still calls me every night before we go to sleep. Once it's time, then we'll start dating." Back with May, she was rinsing off the suds in Misty's hair before squeezing the water out gently. Afterwards, she led her back to her original chair before grabbing the scissors and comb again. Carefully aligning it to grab an equal amount, May then used her scissors and began trimming Misty's hair. Misty remained a bit curious, but was enjoying the process as a whole. It was easier for her to understand why Daisy wanted her to do this. After a bit of cutting, May plugged in the dryer and the curler as she began to use them on the Cerulean gym leader. Dawn and Serena finished up with their customers and were watching May work her magic. Soon, May was finished as she gave her masterpiece one final check to make sure everything was in place and even. Smiling in content, she gave Misty a mirror to look at as she was in for a major surprise. Her hair was trimmed slightly shorter than normal and the ends were curled nicely. Misty looked up to May and smiled, saying,"I love it. My sisters are going to be so shocked when they see me. Thank you May. You opened my eyes to beauty I never realized seen before." May giggled a bit before saying,"It was no trouble at all. When the image of the style came to mind, I had a hunch you'd like it. Guess it ended up being correct." After hugging May before going up to pay, she was on her way back to Cerulean City as May was happy that another customer has been satisfied. Serena joined up with her and says,"See? I'm not the only one with the ability. It's like I said, It just takes the right person." Dawn says,"You two are lucky, but soon, I'll have my chance to shine and make a lucky customer connection." Soon, the trio was called into work with a bunch of men as they split and got back to working the magic.
