A Flash to the Past. Naruto's Birthday Shocker!
Naruto Uzumaki, Prankster King of Konohagakure no Sato. That very name struck fear
Into so many hearts, not like it used to when he was a kid still, the people too ignorant to know
That he WASN"T the Kyubii incarnate. Now it was a name said in a mixture of awe and anger
And fear. Awe at the sheer cunning and thought that went into the pranks he pulled, anger by
those that had just been pranked yet knowing he could snap at any moment and kill them all
so they couldn't do squat. And fear because you could never know when the young soon to
be ninja would be pranking again, and the only ones that knew who it was going to be are
Naruto himself and the poor unlucky fool that pissed the blond off.
Yet today was a day that many seemed to forget about the blond, at least until their
anger and hate at what the "demon" had done to the village. Today was October 10th and it
was Naruto's 10th birthday, and so there were two things he knew he could count on for this
day. One is that the Old Man would be coming over to see him, and the other was that should
he leaves his apartment then he would once again be beaten to near death.
And so Naruto has decided to spend today the same way that he always does, plotting
a way to make the villagers lives a living hell come tomorrow. And while his grades in the
academy weren't the best when it comes to school work there is something to be said about
it. For one he isn't really in class enough to even have all that good of grades. The other is
that he found out a while ago that the grades that Iruka Sensei would put on the papers were
different from what Mizuki teme was putting into the grade books.
He was actually quite clever and smart when it was on the line, he just liked to make
things a little bit harder on himself. In fact he was so smart that when he found the seal on his
stomach and started to do research into Fuinjutsu that he was apparently a prodigy of sorts. What ever he learned from the scrolls he read seemed to just click for him and so when he
ran across something that looked similar to his seal he was astounded to find that he had a
seal to hold back a demon on him. What shocked him was the fact that it was most often used
on something called a jinchuuriki, meaning power of the human sacrifice. That meant that he
knew why they called him demon. He just didn't understand which one really.
Most of the seals he has used so far were really more for his pranks than anything else,
however the resistance, storage, and memory seal's he had come across had helped so
much. The resistance seals would make it so that every action he did felt that he was being
pulled the other way, making him far stronger and faster when he took them off. Most of his
belongings were in storage scrolls and most of those belongings are kunai, shurikan, and
senbon. Along with a few swords and such that he thought were kinda cool that he found in
the outer parts of Training grounds 44. His favorite though were the memory seals that he
made himself. Those were his pride and joy, because with them he has been able to learn
almost the whole library, that he had clearance for anyway. In two years he would have the
whole civilian and genin sections finished.
So we join our young hero while he is looking through another scroll on Fuinjutsu
when there was a knock on his door. Looking over at the tv on his wall he sees that the Old
Man was waiting patiently outside for him. The camera was something that was a godsend at
the moment because he didn't want the Old Man to know what he was going to talk to him
about today. Today he was going to find out about the seal on his stomach and his parents.
Getting up and flipping through thirty handsigns before reaching the door and a
whisper of "Fuin" The whole place in transformed into what the Old man would think was his
actual apartment. "Hey jiji! Whats up? Is it time for my Monthly allowance already?" Naruto asks his grandfather figure. 'I am so going to get my answers today!' Naruto is thinking to himself.
Meanwhile The Third Hokage is standing there smiling his young charge. Every time he saw Naruto he would be able to see both of his parent's in the boy. But there was something that would always nag on him that said Naruto was more than what he was seeing. But today was a day that would always bring the same memories. It was the very day after his birth in fact.
FLASHBACK
Sir we have rioters at the gates calling for Naruto's blood! What will you have us do? Asks the cat masked ANBU slightly out of breath. He had been working non-stop to keep assassins out of the Hokage tower all day. It seemed to him that it was just too much for some of the civilians to handle the knowledge that Third had imparted to them.
The Third sighs as he contemplates his next order, and looks over to Naruto. He was just now thinking of how stupid he was to tell simple civilians of the boy. Taking a deep breath he tells the ANBU to call a council meeting. Making a move with his hand he calls another of the ANBU this time a dog masked one. Dog go and tell the crowd they have two minutes to disperse...and if they should still be there after the time is up they will be killed!
As the Hokage waits for the council to arrive he counts the seconds until his time limit was up. As he gets to two minutes he hears the screams of pain and death, so he sighs. Those damn fools! Why can't they think about this rationally…?
A full minute later the Cat ANBU comes in via Body flicker technique. Sir! The council has been convened and is waiting for your arrival. Taking a look at his subordinate the Hokage smiles softly, Thank you Cat, you may take some time off, get Hebi to take over for the next 12 hour shift.
The ANBU nods happily and looks to the child that was in the crib. Be safe little one. The ANBU thinks to himself before vanishing. The Hokage takes little Naruto in his arms and Body Flickers into the council room. As he sits down the Shinobi side of the council smile at the small bundle in his arms, while the civilian side scowl.
Taking notice of this the Third frowns but starts anyway. There have been riots all day, and we have been having assassination attempt after attempt on our young friend here. I do not know how or why there are so many foreign ninja in our village right now but I intend to find out. And should I find someone has been hiding and helping them get into our village they will be dealt with accordingly.
From the Civilian side there comes a shout, Why don't we just give the little monster to the crowds and be done with it! At the very least it will get rid of the Demon! As that word left his mouth a kunai went through his neck killing him instantly. The one to through it was none other than Tsume Inuzaka, Head of the clan.
The Hokage looks to her and smiles nodding, Thank you for that Tsume. Now Everyone that believes the same as that poor soul please raise your hands so that we can vote on what to do! Not more than thirty seconds pass and the whole civilian council as well as Fugaku Uchihas, and surprisingly Danzo's as well. As the final "vote was taken, all of them had a sword thrust through their throats by the hidden ANBU.
This is a Shinobi Village and as such is controlled by the acting Kage! These fools thought to weaken us. And yes while the Uchiha and Danzo where indeed ninja we can't let Fourths son be harmed, therefore there will be a new law stating that any and all that speak of this to the boy in question will be put to death. No one from the younger generation will be told either in order to give him as normal a child hood as possible. Tell this to the population, we are done here for today! Says the Third in a long winded speech.
FLASHBACK END
Naruto ushers his grandfather figure into the apartment and offers him some tea. "So where's the money old man! Plus it's my birthday take me out for some Ramen! PLEASE PLEASE!" shouts Naruto, just because he wasn't an idiot didn't mean he was not hyper and ramen loving. It is god's gift to the world after all!
The third sits and sips his tea taking out the money and puts it on the table, "Yes Naruto here you go, don't go spending it all in one place and not all in one place! But I have actually come for another reason...I wanted to wait but I think you might be ready so here it is." And with a flourish of his hand he pulls out a pack of papers and puts it on the table.
"These are your birth certificates and some of your inheritance. Well your bank account number it is." He says as the young jinchuuriki picks them up and starts to read. As he reads the names of his parents his mind shuts off for a second and he has to read it again.
"You had best be shitting me old man, you can't expect me to believe im the Fourths son! This is total bull shit there is no way in he-" He never finishes that sentence because the Third slaps him across the face Hard.
Taking deep breaths he tries to calm himself down, "DON'T speak to me like that young man! I have never lied to you and I won't start! My wife was the nurse that helped your mother give birth that night. Now yes your father was indeed the Fourth, your the spitting image of him after all I'm surprised you never asked me this before. Now do you want the Ramen or not? Cause if you do we gotta hurry." Naruto nods at this and rubs his cheek.
"Hai jiji lets go, I would like to talk about some other things however as well." And when he looks up he is no longer using his mask. This is the true Naruto Uzumaki looking at his grandpa figure, and the third gasps at the intensity.
Nodding The third uses the Body Flicker to take them to Ichirakus Ramen, "Lets talk while we eat little one I feel that you'll want the comfort of your favorite food" The old man says with a smile.
Teuchi the stands owner looks up to see the Hokage and his favorite customer, looking back into the kitchen area he yells to his daughter, "Ayame! Get ready for a Naruto Special and keep them coming!" then turning to the third he asks what he wants.
"One miso if you could I'm not going to be staying all that long unfortunately. Just a little more to talk with the Birthday boy and give him his present!" Looking over at Naruto the third winces as Naruto is rubbing his belly. 'I hope he doesn't know'
As the first bowl arrives Naruto is trying to get up the courage to talk about his fear, He knows that he is a jinchuuriki, there is no doubt about that at all. But does he really know? Deciding it is best to get it over with he takes a deep breath, "Jiji, am I the Kyubii container..." At that Teuchi and the Hokage both have heart attacks.
Sputtering the old man asks, "How do you know that Naruto! Who told you?" When he laughs the old man stops and wonders 'what is making him laugh so much. "Jiji take me home I'll show you." Nodding the Hokage pays the stand owner and again teleports them to the apartment.
Naruto flips through the same thirty handsigns but in reverse order and all of his work is shown, " I have been studying seals for about two years now ever since I found the one on my stomach...I came across one that looked sorta like mine but I couldn't really tell all that well and I have been waiting to see if you would bring it up first.
However You haven't but after hearing that HE was my dad I have to know jij. I had to show you that I am different than the idiot you and everyone else thinks that I am..." Naruto looks down and starts when he is embraced.
"I am so sorry but it is true Naruto, I am so sorry I wish I could have been the one to give my life to and you would have your father there with you, but I wasn't able to convince him to let me. Please forgive a weak old man..." The third now had tears Falling and he was sobbing on his grandchild's shoulder.
Nodding Naruto starts to cry to but not for long and looks at his "grandfather" "jiji it is ok, it's my Birthday we should be happy and celebrating...What is this Present that you were talking about now eh old man?" He says with a laugh, reminding him.
"Oh that's right," The old man reaches into his robes and pulls out a key and a scroll. "In this scroll are storage seals so that you can pack everything up tonight and tomorrow, and the key is to your Clan estate. Tomorrow I will be announcing your connection with the fourth as well as introduce you to some people that have been dying to meet you face to face for a very long time" The old man says with a smile. "However I have to be going alright? So come to the tower at 8 in the morning alright? Make sure to have everything packed ok?" At a nod from the boy he turns and leaves the small apartment.
Naruto stands there for a moment and then gets a smile on his face, 'I am so going to rub this into all the villagers' faces tomorrow! Not to mention Sasuke-temes! Hell yeah!.
That day was a day that changed everything. What Naruto didn't know was that the Kyubii was just about to take away something precious to him, his intelligence. However it thought better of it, after all it couldn't have a weak container could it? Besides it is time for a little get together with the brat.
AN: so again terrible chapter I am so sorry about it. But For some reason I couldn't get the wording to work out for me. Next chapter we are going to learn about what is in the house in a flashback and we will be on graduation. we are also going to meet Kyubii! and we will also be learning of a bloodline? What is it?
