Chapter 1: Just An other Nightmare
Stars brighten the moonless night sky above the vast land called Seikatsu Valley, a vast and with mountains terrain, forest like jungle, and large meadow-it's no wonder why it call it, "The Valley Of Life". There was a modern town with a old castle stood at the edge of town, built at the valley; a silver castles with black cone-shaped roofs on each towers, from the back was a large garden fill with flowers and other plants.
A man about his mid-forty, black hair with gray streak, stubbled beard, and he is well-muscle for his age, and has bright green eyes. He wear a golden colored,long-sleeve coat with coattail, silver button, cuffing, and shoulder pad. White gloves, brown belt with a silver oval belt buckle, white pants tuck in black leather boots. The older man also carried long , two-handed double-edge sword in a one-strap holster around his back. His eyes are looking at the starry pitch black sky from the castle's garden, alone.
The smell of flowers and the the falling water from the fountain made of white stone, also feeling the chilly breeze that give this place a relaxing atmosphere. The garden was a peaceful place to come after a stressful days. After moments silents; footsteps caught with the older man's hearing. He turn to see was just a young female about nineteen. She has pale skin, her slightly spiky shoulder-length hair is unusual the colored pink, and her eyes was icy blue. Her attire is long-collar sleeveless white jacket with leather straps for decoration and a thin brown belt under her chest, fingerless gloves but one arm have a longer sleeve the the other, brown skirt, and boots. Also carried a red case attach to her belt.
"Hello young Ecliar," The older man greeted the young female named 'Eclair'.
"That not my name, it's Lightning."Eclair call herself 'Lightning' and cross her arms.
"I prefer Eclair, its a very sweet and your real name." The older man laugh a bit to make it humorous.
Lightning sigh,"Guild Leader, Alan-"
"Call me Alan, that just a tittle." Alan said, curtly.
Alan is the leader of the guild of Seikastu valley, chosen and in charge of this castle after the last leader pass away, many years ago. A leader must have a second command if the leader had die. The leader is in charge to take care the town and must send in warriors on quest, rescue mission, or help neighboring towns. Also to protect the peace who ever try to interfere. Lightning is one of the best member of the Guild. She use to be in SOLDIER until she transfers here and took the job of mentoring newcomers.
"Why do you summon me here, is there a problem with anything?"
They were quiet for a moments. Alan still looking up to the stars above them for a moment and glance back to Lightning.
"Ah yes- I wanting to ask how well did you train your students." Alan inform.
"The three have trained very hard..." Lightning started. Alan listen Lightning talk about the trainee that she have train for quite sometime.
He absorb all the information he needed; once Lightning finish explaining to Alan. His mind begin to think for a moment until Alan made his answer.
"Sound like you train them very well. I like to see them for myself."
"You want to see them train?" She ask.
"Yes. Please inform them to come to my study room in morning."
"Of course sir, I respect your decision Alan. " Lightning agree to her leader. It was quiet for a moment until Lightning decide to speak again."Is there anything else you want to talk about?"
"No, just tell inform your students to come to my office in the morning."
Morning was coming soon; inside a room was fifteen years old Akira, slept in her bed. Her body slightly tossing and turning, while she slept...
She opened her eyes, and immediately her vision pictured a bright environment that was very sunny luminous. White cloudsin the blue upper atmosphere drifted through the wind like a mild wave in the sea, while the sun's shine grew bright as always residing in the middle of the sky. Her body was laying on a grassy field beside a very small pond that consisted of lily pads and a waterfall creak. She looked around to her new environment; great white mountains that was accompanied with a blanket of grass surrounding her. It was a beautiful area that she never saw before but felt familiar to her. She then heard voices in the distance and turned around seeing a blurring figure standing far across from her. Her face turned into pure happiness.
"Terra!" she yelled out with pure delight. Her screams caught the attention of the figure. She quickly ran beginning to get closer to him;the figure consisted of male silhouettes. The oldest male began to walk towards her but something went wrong. While they were just a few feet from each others.
The oldest male immediately paused his movements and began to feel pain screaming out in agony. The pain seemed to be so powerful it caused him to fall to his knees and hold his head in discomfort. He began to let out a few labor breaths while shaking horribly. Akira looked on in distraught and tried running towards him but strangely she paused in complete fright that froze her motion. She couldn't help but feel a dark aura beginning to surround them...
But things got even worse, the bright blue sky turn into starless night, everything around them began crumble, and shadows began to rise.
Akira just saw him being consumed, leaving his tears behind.
"No! Stop it!" Akira cried out, if she wanted time to pause. Seeing him suffer and there was nothing she could do to stop it. She ran toward him in a desperate attempt to rescue the tortured male. But within reach of him, his body began to slowly disfigure. His entire being became pitch black and his feet looked like very sharp talons. He looked like a monster!
"Terr!" she yelled but was cut off when "he" let out a painful human shout. He was guzzled by the darkness. She was now all alone in this dying world, she looked on as the world around her crumbled with dried up tears staining her face. Everything she loved was taken away from within just a few moments, with no more hope, strength, or will within her, the ground began to shatter and she too fell into darkness. Fading into the blackness...
Sweating with heavy pants Akira sprang up from her bed gasping for air. Looking around she found herself in her room.
"Akira," a familiar, friendly tone voice caught her attention.
When Akira turn her head to the left. She was introduce by a another girl who was a year younger then Akira. She has straight bright orange hair tied to high-pigtails with yellow ribbons; it reach to her shoulder and bangs frame her forehead. Her eyes is cyan color and her skin is creamy pale. She was dressed with a peach colored cotton top and orange pj shorts.
"Lu..Lucy." Akira reveal her roommate-her best friend's name.
"Are you okay?" Lucy ask.
It was only a dream but re-watching such a scene was too much for her and she curled up into a fatal position. Curled up she felt tears falling down from her eyes down her soft cheek, she wipe off her tears.
"Stupid nightmare..." She burry her face in her knees and lets herself cry.
Lucy sat next to Akira and embracing her into a hug.
"Don't cry, Aki. It was only a nightmare." Lucy try to soothe her. Then she decide to sing to calm her friend...

Lucy sang half of the song from her favorite singer but at least Akira finally stop crying. Akira made eyes contact with Lucy.
"Thanks Lucy," Akira said but sounded a bit awkwardly. It actually kinda embarrassing to start crying like a big baby.
"Gland you're better Aki-" Before Lucy could finish. The alarm clock that was on nightstand and next to it was some sort of bed for cats that have a lump under a blue blanket. Begin ring even though they are already awake.A blue paw appear out of the cover and slam the snooze button to make it stop.
The red digital number say 7:00 am.
"We better start changing." Lucy inform.
Akira nod to agreement. Both female got off the bed, Akira went to the closet to pick her clothes while Lucy went to her side of the room.
Lucy walk up to her nightstand that was next to her bad and have cat bed on top. She remove the blue blanket... It expose a chibi person about a size of a ordinary house cat that carries a strong resemblance to a cat - with cat ears and a tail. He has golden eyes and dark blue hair. Wearing sleeveless black leather shirt, black shorts and a silver chain around his waist finally black boots.
"Ugh... Let me sleep-Nya." He said tiredly.
"It's time to wake up Ren." Lucy was waking the little gijikan that she rescue a long time ago. Ever sense, Ren would always be on Lucy's begin their morning by dressing to start off a brand new day.
