Rein's POV

My sister Fine and I are the complete opposite of each other. For example, I'm more into fashion and glitters while Fine is into sports and gaming. My dream guy is the kind of prince you'd see in Fairy Tales (aka Bright) and Fine's type is err, very unique and mysterious (aka Shade).

But I've got to be honest with my feelings. And to be really honest, I- I also have feelings for Shade.

Let's keep this a secret between us okay? How I wonder if Shade feels the same about me.. No, unbelievable. I have caught feelings for the guy my dearest sister likes! What kind of horrible sister am I?!

Oh my World, but what about Bright-sama? Oh my- I think I have to turn him down. How could I? I've never turned down anyone before, it's going to hurt his feelings for sure! Err, but there was this one time with Fine when I- but she's my sister! We forgive each other!

Oh dear mysteries, what am I to do? The very first guy that I liked was Bright-sama, but now. Somehow-some way, my feelings towards Shade increased! Is it because of his handsome features? Or the way his body moves-Err! God Rein, you're turning into a pervert!

And yet, even if Bright-sama truly seems like the perfect guy. He's as brave as Shade, but Shade always saved me from danger. Bright-sama hasn't done that yet- I think? But Shade saving me- could it be that he likes me too?! Oh god, I wish. It would be like a love story.

But what about my dear sister, Fine? She has been in love with Shade for the past few years! I want to support her and everything but-

My feelings for Shade are strong and I don't think I'll be able to keep this a secret from Fine. She has to know it. But when could I tell her this?

It's between Bright-sama or "Shade.."

"What's wrong, Rein?" Mmhh? Was that Shade that just said that? Oh no, I said his name out loud!

"O-oh.. N-nothing!" I stuttered with a bright red face.

"Really? Your face is all red. Are you sure your alright?" Shade said and closed the gap between us. He came so close that it made our foreheads touch!

THANK YOU SHADE! YOUR MAKING ME BLUSH EVEN MORE!

"Ah! -Noo! It's alright! Really Shade!" I said and backed away from him. He still looked suspicious at me.

"Okay, but tell me when you're not feeling well. Okay?" Shade said and looked at me with a worried expression. I love how he's so concerned for me!

"Yeah, sure," I said with a timid smile.

At home ( nothing really happened after that)

Fine and I were both in the kitchen making dinner for our parents. The both of us are getting better and better at cooking! Altough I have to admit that Fine is way better than I am. While Fine was busy, I glanced at her. I really want to know if she still has feelings for Shade. That way I can tell her how I felt about him.

But I'm afraid that she still likes him..

"Ne, Fine," I said.

She looked up at me and said,"Yes Rein?"

I gulped, this is the moment that you ask it, Rein! "Umm, do you maybe like someone?" The question seemed to shock Fine, as she had almost cut her finger! " Fine?! Are you okay?"

"Yes, yes, I'm fine. That's my name after all. And err, no-yes? Maybe, one person," she stuttered and her face is slowly turning red.

"Really? Tell me! Tell me!" I don't know if it's such a good idea but I was excited.

"Well," she sighed dreamily. "It's Shade." Looks like I was right all along.

"Really?" I was trying to sound surprised, I hope she didn't notice the disappointment in my voice.

"Yes," Fine smiled sweetly. That's so adorable, it was the first time that I have seen Fine like this. She must really like him to be like this.

"Why do you like him?" I asked her.

"Why I like him?" She paused before looking at me, it made my heart skip a beat. She looked so confident, " Honestly? I don't know. I guess there's something about him that makes me so attracted to him. It's like I have this invisible connection with him. Hahah, I-I don't know but I just really really like him."

I nodded. But still, how could you like someone without knowing how or why? I liked Bright because of his acts and gestures, he's such a sweetheart! And I like Shade because of his mysterious looks and heroic actions.

I sucked in a deep breath and let it out. Now is the time. " Ne, Fine. What if- what if I said that I also liked Shade. What would you say?" Fine didn't flinch or looked shocked for the matter! Or should I say, she looked totally unimpressed.

Instead, she smiled at me and said, " I would say. Let the best girl win his heart."

"So, you're not mad?" I asked her quietly.

"No, of course not. I know why you would fall in love with him, he's a great guy after all."

"Yeah I know.."

"But I won't lose to you," Fine said determined.

"I won't lose to you either!" I smiled at Fine and she smiled back at me.

The next day...

School has begun and we were all in the classroom. But our teacher was sick, so we had self-study. I watched as Fine walked over to Shade's desk. "Hey Shade, will you help me with math?" She asked him.

"Sure, Fine," he said and smiled. And I just watched as Fine sat by him. Damn she's fast.

The following days, were similar to this. Asking Shades all kinds of things like: 'will you help me with this, Shde?" or 'Shade, can you lift me up for a while?' sometimes 'Shade can you come with me to the store?' or even more. I can't believe Shade wasn't' annoyed by our endless requests. He's unbelievable.

Shade's pov

Maybe it's just me but lately it feels like Fine and Rein are fighting. For me? Or maybe it's just in my imagination?

I was outside of school and just walking around mindlessly. After a while I heard voices from the back of the school. Soon enough I recognized these voices, it's Fine and Rein! I decided to move closer to them.

" Fine, you sly fox! Why did you have to be Cinderella? Out of all the candidates it had to be you! I should have been the one who's supposed to kiss Shade!" I heard Rein yell. And wait what is this all about?

" Hey, don't look at me like that! No one told me that I had to audition for Cinderella! Lione signed me up for this but I literally didn't do anything impressive!" Fine yelled back. Are they seriously fighting for the role of Cinderella?

"Then you should give me the role if you don't want to do it!"

" God Rein! If you really want to kiss Shade that badly, why don't you try and kiss him? Or even better- why don't you also confess to him that you like him?"

Did I just hear that correctly? Rein, she- she likes me? So, are they both fighting for that role because they both like me? Err, maybe that's enough eavesdropping for today. I should get back to Bright and the others... I took a step back but luck wasn't on my side, I stepped on a branch.

"Who's there?!" I heard. Uh-oh, soon enough the two sisters stood in front of me. I waved awkwardly at them, " Hey girls." They gawked at me as if I was some sort of alien.

Fine waved back and said, " Hey Shade. Nice seeing you, but how long have you been standing there for?"

" Or better yet, what exactly have you heard?" Rein asked right after Fine.

" From you yelling at Fine that she's a sly fox untill now?" I just said.

"So you heard everything then?" Fine asked. I nodded.

"Then Shade! Who do you like the best?!" Rein asked me. She looked up at me with those hopeful puppy eyes. I looked up at Fine and saw that she was already staring at me. She just gave a sweet smile, a smile enough to set my heart racing.

"Well...?"

I might seem like this horrible guy, but really I'm in a tight situation here. Fine and Rein are both amazingly beautiful and talented girls. Any guy is lucky to be liked by them. I cannot choose.

" H-how about I date each one of you for 1 month. And then after that I will know my true feelings."

"DEAL!" They both said.

"But who will date Shade first?" Fine asked and looked at Rein. She smirked, "Rock, paper, scissors!"

Rein grinned and both of them played rock, paper, scissors. In the end Fine won.

"Yes! I'm first!" Fine happily said and hugged me! I blushed slightly.

Rein folded her arms and puffed her cheeks, " Okay fine, but no kissing!"

"You jelly?" Fine said to Rein and she stuck out her tongue at Fine. " Whatever," Rein mumbled.

Fine & Shade's 1 Month

The first week was full of walking in the park and picnic made by Fine. And I should say, Fine has gotten so much better at cooking. She could be the perfect wife.

The second week was the most adorable time of my life. Fine showed me around all the cat and dog cafés in Heavenly Star. We have even adopted an adorable dog, it's a white husky named Luna.

The third week was very peaceful, we walked around and enjoyed the beautiful scenery in Heavenly Star and Sunny Kingdom. I don't know, but whenever I'm with Fine. I feel so complete and secure.

The fourth week might be the best one yet! We went to all amusement parks in Heavenly Star and Sunny Kingdom! It was the best time of my life! And Fine's cooking is superb! I might as well say that she's better than my mother!

And my mother is the best cook in whole Wonder Planet (in my opinion).

Soon it was already the last day of our 'relationship'. In these past few weeks Fine changed little by little. She became more mature and realistic. Yet she still is herself, it was great to be her boyfriend. Even if it was just for a month.

I had invited Fine to come with me to a café, not a fancy one of course.

"I had a great time as your girlfriend Shade," she was the first one to break the silence.

I looked up at her and blushed. She looked so beautiful, " N-no, the pleasure is all mine. I was so lucky to be your boyfriend, even if it's just a for a month Fine."

She smiled at me. And I could have sworn that my heart skipped a beat TWICE. " Thank you Shade for me- us a chance. I'll never forget this moment, even if I'll never be your girlfriend again.

The next day I was still with Fine. But we had encountered Rein on the way to the park. We were actually supposed to meet up with Rein there.

"Ok! Times up! My time to date Shade!" Rein said and smiled. She took my hand and led me to a place.

"Remember no kissing!" Fine shouted as we increased the distance between us.

Rein & Shade's month

The first week of our relationship was a train wreck, literally. Rein wanted to go to the zoo which is in the Flame Kingdom. But the train crashed into another train! Luckily no one was hurt! But Rein and I still ended up going to the zoo!

The second week was a little bit of a disaster. Rein was in the palace of the Moon Kingdom, specifically in the kitchen. She wanted to make something for me and Milky, since my mom was away on trip she couldn't make one for her. Otherwise would have, but lucky my mom wasn't there. Rein blew up the kitchen. So our maids taught her some techniques for cooking, she made a decent meal after that. It was really delicious.

The third week was great, we spent the whole week researching the stars and galaxies! We even discovered a new planet together! We named it Shein.

In the fourth week it was getting clear to me that my feelings for Rein and Fine were on a total different level. With Fine, even if it was a great time I only felt like a big brother. But with Rein, it feels so much- so much more than that.

It was the last day of our month already. We went to a karaoke and let me tell you. We rocked!

"That was AMAZING!" Rein exclaimed as we exited the building.

"Yeah, you totally rocked this month!" I said to her, she was shining!

"Why thank you!" Rein grinned.

Fine was waiting outside of the karaoke for us. She smiled.

"Okay! Okay! So Shade are you sure now?" Fine asked.

I hesitated. I want to tell them the truth, but maybe I should tell them separately? " Is it okay if we meet up tomorrow? I want to think about it some more.."

"Sure!" Fine and Rein nodded. " I guess that's our cue to part, huh? We'll see you tomorrow Shade," Rein said and walked away. But I noticed that Fine stayed.

"What's wrong, Fine?" I asked her.

"You're going to chose Rein, aren't you?" Fine asked while crossing her arms.

"Uhh," I was a loss of words.

"Come on Shade, you can tell me everything."

"Okay," I sighed. " I am going to choose her."

"I knew it! So when are you going to confess?"

"What?! Confess?"

"Yess!"

" Hold on a second," I stopped her. " You're not mad or anything?"

She shook her head, " No, why should I? You two are meant for each other!"

"How come?" There must be something behind all of this.

"Mmhh." She's hesitating.

"Fine?"

"Not gonna tell you!" Fine stuck out her tongue.

"Hey! Tell me!" I said and tickled her..

"Aahh!No hahaha Stop!" She laughed.

"Tell me first!" I laughed back.

"Okay! ahhahahaa! Okay, okay!" I let go of her..

" No but, seriously Shade. I just really want the two of you to be happy," she smiled sweetly. " Fine, you're too precious. Thank you."

I gave her a hug and she hugged me back.

"So. Are you going to confess in a romantic way? Rein loves romantic things!" She said after we let go of each other.

"Mhh.. She likes that?" I asked.

"Duh! It's Rein!" Fine said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Will you help me with confessing?"

"Sure! Think of me as confess!"

"OKay! Um.. Fine what are you holding in that bag?" How could I not have noticed that in the first place?

"Nothing! Just confess already!" She said.

"Okay!"

"?" She was waiting for me to say something.

"Rein- I, I'm in love with you!" I said with all my heart. And as if on cue a gush of wind blew past us. And behind Fine, I saw her.

Rein. She looked so broken.

"I-I'm sorry!" Was the only thing she said and began to run away from us. Fine immediately pushed a blue rose and a small box into my hands.

I did what I was told to do and began chasing after her. She ran into the park and stopped by a bench. She sat down and began to cry. I slowly walked over to her, " Rein, I-"

Before I could say anything else she cut me off, "-Go away Shade!"

" Rein I really-" Dammit Rein! Why don't you let me finish my sentence!

"You really love Fine, right?"

"No! I don't well, yeah but-"

"You love her! Then go to her! Why did you chase after me!?" Rein was getting more and more upset. Angry even! I- I just want her to shut up so she can listen to me. And that's when I did something crazy. I kissed her. After all those times looking at her, lowkey wishing I could one day kiss her soft looking lips. I finally did it, I kissed her.

I broke the kiss off, she was out of breath and so was I. Rein was looking up at me, her eyes wide open and teary. "Rein, the one I love- is you!" I said to her.

"W-wha-" before she could say anything. I gave her the rose and small box.

"Shade I- I don't know what to say. First I'm so sorry for over-reacting, I was just so- so upset. And-" I put my index finger on her lips to sush her. " No worries Rein, I understand."

She smiled at me and opened the box. There was a beautiful ring inside it, and the gem was a pretty sapphire.

"Oh my god, Shade! It's beautiful thank you!" Rein said hugging me. I hugged her back. We broke off the hug after a while.

"So how come you came back here?"

"Well, Fine texted me that I had to came back there. Saying that there was something that I needed to hear."

"So Fine texted you to come there?" Rein just nodded.

"It was her idea.." Rein said.

"That girl," I just mumbled. She's a clever one, that Fine.

"But thanks to her, I won your heart." Rein said giving me a peck on the cheek.

Alright, now I know that I've been away for a very long time.

But here's the thing, thanks to Guest 2 -who made a very nice idea for next chapter- I wanted to make that chapter.
Err, but after re-reading this story I cringed. A lot.

Holy hell, I made a lot of mistakes here and there.
And pretty sure, even if I edited it and made a few changes here and there. You'd still find some grammatical errors and/or missing words, I'm sorry fo that.

But hear me out. I haven't had a single good idea for a next chapter for my stories. So, if you have any suggestions or ideas or even have a short scenario for any of my stories.

( I feel like this is some sort of cry for help. And tbh, yes it is. I don't want to abandon these stories and leave them hanging like that! And besides, I'm including your ideas! Which I'm sure are great! But.. I'll most likely change them just a tiny bit so they work well with the storyline...)
