A very very late note from the author. Seriously late. It's been six - seven years.
Hi everyone! I just want to say about this story, I have never forgotten about it. I love this story like it's my child but I simply fall out of love with One Piece for a few years. Maaan I WROTE THIS IN 2008! But I have recently picked the series back up and I am determined to get this story out there. I am full of ideas and really want this story to come alive. Just a note, I'm aware that this story being so old is before the time skip and for my plot it needs to stay that way in some ways, so keep that in mind. This takes place before the time skip, in some ways. I'm also pretty rusty and while I will try my best, that might show at first.
On saying this I am thinking of doing some rework on the first chapter (UPDATE NOTE I HAVE DONE A LOT OF WORK ON THE FIRST CHAPTER. IT IS A WHOLE LOT LONGER AND DETAILED. READ IT) and I might be changing Zoro's present boyfriend to be Law. It fits in better cause they are both swordsmen, people know Law and the role of a broody type swordsman seems to fit him better. I'm only up to Punk Hazard at the moment so Law will be based on how he is by the end of that arc, although as I get further in the series I might think of ways to alter him.
I HAVE CHANGED HIS BOYFRIEND TO LAW. HE USED TO BE A GUY CALLED SAGA WHO WAS A CHARACTER I LIKED FROM THE FIFTH MOVIE ABOUT THE CURSED SWORD. I don't know how people feel about Zoro dating Law, are people okay with this? I'm also thinking about having Sanji flirty with Zoro, which Zoro can't stand. Thoughts? It'll be background stuff and only for the first part of the story. IT would have a purpose to do with a hidden pairing I might bring in
OKAY SO. DOES ANYONE OUT THERE STILL WANT ME TO WRITE THIS STORY? I will probably continue it anyway but I will put a lot more effort in if there are still people who read the first chapter and want the rest. Thanks for reading this guys! I'll replace this note with the second chapter as soon as I finish writing it and when this note goes out I should have updated the first chapter as well! The second chapter is roughly half done right now. It should be out on the weekend. I'm planning on watching some more One Piece to get a better idea of Law's character before I introduce him to my story next chapter!
