Chapter Two

The house looked ordinary, like any other house on the street. Sam flipped his phone open and dialed Crowley's number. They thought it best that Sam do the talking since Crowley and Sam were not on great speaking terms. The phone rang and rang and eventually went to voice mail. Sam eyed Dean and shook his head. He pressed Crowley's number once more, making this the 5th call since they left the bar. On the very first ring, Crowley finally picked up.

"Don't you realize I'm shunning you?" Crowley asked. "Tell me why you are blowing up my phone, Moose? I am a very busy man. Souls to take, the usual business."

"Believe me Crowley; I didn't want to contact you at all." Sam stated.

"Then why, pray tell are you pestering me?" Crowley snapped.

"The Hell House heard of it." There was silence on the end of the line. "Crowley!"

"Yeah, yeah, don't get your knickers in a twist. I've heard of it, because its my house."

"Would you care to explain what the hell is going on?"

"Not particularly."

"Anything to do with Faeries?"

"All you need to know is that Faeries don't like to be indebted, especially by demons. If I were you I wouldn't go anywhere near there if you don't want to die, Moose. Ta, ta!" Crowley hung up the phone.

Sam sighed. Crowley had practically told him nothing. "Well?" Dean asked.

"He says this is his house but he was surprised I knew about the Faeries. He said they don't like to be indebted, but he didn't explain anything after that."

"Great! Just perfect." Dean scoffed.

"Please tell me you aren't going to go in there." A little girl, with long thin dreads in a ponytail stood at their feet. The two brothers leaped back. They hadn't even seen her appear, let alone heard the footsteps.

"Jesus!" Dean shouted. "Where the hell did you pop up from?"

"Answer me." She demanded.

"Quite a little mouth on you…." Dean started.

"Dean, stop." Sam knelt down to speak with the girl. "We planned on checking the place out…."

"I wouldn't if I were you." She said. "Your brother has been lightly marked and they don't like losing something they wanted to keep."

Sam lost his smile as he stared at her in shock. "How…."

"Get away from here before you are killed." She stepped forward with such demanding force that Sam stood up to back away from her.

"Why are you trying to protect us?" Dean asked, becoming slightly annoyed.

"Because no one protected me." She gave a scowl before she blinked away.

The two stood frozen, startled by her sudden disappearance. "Did she just vanish?" Dean kicked his foot in the area she was just standing in.

"I think she just did…."

"I remember her face…. From that video on TV!" Sam exclaimed. "That was Felicity Lavender!"

"That little brat was the girl from the video? The rumored ghost girl?" Dean said, surprised by the revelation. "She definitely acts like a ghost."

"I don't think she is actually dead. I mean, didn't you get a good look at her? The picture of the family on the website shows her with short hair. Her hair was down her back, and she was obviously wearing different clothes."

"It's a kid; I don't pay attention to little brats with attitude problems."

"Like you didn't have an attitude as a kid." Sam sighed. "Try being spirited away by faeries."

"Been there, done that, not again." Dean snapped. He began walking forward. "Let's go do this shit. Is Cas going to be here?"

Sam leapt forward to catch up to Dean. "He said the how's was warded but I don't see anything."

"Maybe its super-secret Faerie warding." Dean laughed.

"Why does no one listen to me? It's my youthful appearance isn't it?" the little girl was back but this time sitting next to the front door.

Dean jumped once again. "Jesus, kid, do we need to put a bell on you?"

"Ha, you're sooo funny." She mocked laughed. "Why are you two here? This obviously isn't fun and games for you."

"Our friend, Castiel, he seemed…." Sam was cut off.

"You are here to rescue that Angel?" she seemed genuinely surprised.

"Yeah, we are. That's what family does." Dean said.

"Don't talk to me about family. They will up and leave you before even scream for help!" She shouted.

"You don't honestly believe that, Felicity." Sam said, using her name cautiously.

She stared at Sam like he had just used a word she hadn't heard of before. "They call don't call me that." Her blank face was quickly replaced by hatred. "They call me daor go leor. Pretty Slave." She spat. "Fine, go and save your Angel family, but when you get stuck in there and have to bargain your way out, because you will, at least tell him sorry when you feed him to the wolves." This time she didn't vanish into thin air, she stood up and opened the door and walked in, leaving it open for them.

"I think she has some daddy issues." Dean stated.

"You're telling me." Sam agreed.

They entered the house slowly, surprised that it was fully furnished. Crowley did say it was his house, but they had expected it to be dirtier and darker. As they walked around the home they looked for warding's on the walls and found none that they could see. Everything in the house seemed strangely normal. Why was it so vacant when there were so many people going missing in this house?

"Dean!" Sam shouted from upstairs. "I found Cas!"

Dean whirled around and headed for the stairs, noticing the strange photographs along the staircase. Dean ended up in a little girl's room, which still obviously belonged to Felicity, but with updated pics of people in 2015, instead of from 1995. At least they keep her updated on current events. When he stepped further into the room he saw Castiel stuck against a wall. Sam was trying his hardest to pull him from the wall. "What the…." Dean stopped dead in his tracks.

The little girl appeared on her bed. She bit into a green apple, smacking as she did so. "You aren't gonna get him down from there like that." She smirked when Dean jumped a little. "The fae hate Angels and loathe demons entirely. You should have seen Cresta's face when she saw a demon saying she owed him a debt."

"Crowley." Sam stated.

"You know'em?" Felicity asked.

"More than we would like to know him, that's for damn sure." Dean answered. "I didn't know ghosts could eat."

"Who said I was a ghost? Is that what they are saying out there?" Felicity looked surprised.

"Yeah…. If you aren't a ghost what are you?" Sam asked.

"I guess you can call me a changeling, but I wasn't exactly traded or anything I was just thrown away." Felicity said, biting her apple once more. "I get around by going through the veil, scares the crap out of people like that."

"So, you're alive then?" Dean asked, feeling his head start to hurt. "So you're a kid forever?"

"Fae love human kids, barely have any of their own. So once I was theirs they made me stay like this, six. Forever freaking six."

"You don't talk like any six years old I know." Dean stated.

"How many six year olds get to age within their minds, but stay static like this forever? None, unless the fae takes them for their own. I got my education I guess but, all day I run from the demons and try to stay away from Cresta's mate, Arthurus. He hates me for some reason." She explained.

"Demons are here right now?" Sam asked.

"You don't smell them? They smell of dead bodies." Felicity grimaced. "Angel wings here smells like fresh linen. Kinda refreshing."

"But the demons, where are they?" Sam asked.

"In the basement." She tossed her apple in the trashcan. "Probably torturing those teenagers that I warned several times, may I add. The girl that was with them was a girl who hadn't technically hit puberty."

"How do you not technically hit to puberty?" Dean questioned.

"No period. The Faeries took her and let the demons get their souls."

"Crowley's after souls." Castiel said suddenly.

"Nice genius, I just said that." Felicity mocked.

"No, I was trying to tell them that over the phone but I couldn't get through properly. The warding's on me are strong, as you can see."

"I told you the phone call was going to be hard." She said.

"Wait, she was helping you out here?" Dean asked. He looked from the girl to Castiel.

"Yes, she is very kind despite her crass language." Castiel said.

"Living with Faeries makes you realize how cruel living things can be, and that families would rather see you dead than stick together." She mumbled off towards the end.

"Your mom told us to save you."

"Don't you dare lie to me! She clung to that man who claimed to be my father. If she wanted me so bad she would have saved me!" she leapt from the bed and disappeared into nothingness.

"Really, she needs a bell." Dean indicated.

"Really Dean?" Sam said. "I bet living with monsters is worse than fighting for your life. They could probably kill her at any second."

"If it were up to me, I'd like to die, being six years old would kill me."

"Dean." Sam said shaking his head.

"What, it's the truth."

"As much as I am enjoying you're gentlemen's company, but can you somehow scrape the fae dust off my clothes, so I can get down." Castiel asked. "She couldn't do it for me since she has fae magic all over her. She would just rub more on me."

The two men grabbed clothes from the girls closet and began trying to hit the dust off of him. "Actual Faerie dust; unbelievable." Dean scoffed.
