Max was a podling, just like Isabel, Micheal and Tess.

He was more of a weakling then a podling though.

He was supposed to be a leader, a hero, a role model even.

He was none of the above but he was a great actor

He could pretend to be a leader, pretend to solve everybody's problems when he really had no clue how.

But his real talent was pretending everything was alright.
