Phantom Angel: An Animal Crossing In Action
Chapter 1: The Phantom Angel Is Born
It was a beautiful day in the town of StarLily. There was a girl with long green hair and has brown eyes. Her name was Vicki Silverwing, and she's working very hard on her mayor duties. With the help of her loyal secretary, Isabelle the dog, they made their town more lively as ever. When the work was done, Vicki left the town hall and went to Main Street.
When Vicki arrived at Main Street, she noticed that there's a vacant building which it always been there all these years. She immediately came to Nook's Homes to see her little brother. She said hello to everyone, and they said hello back to her as well. Then, she saw a guy with dark blue hair and had brown eyes like her. He was sitting at his desk thinking and researching for awhile. Vicki was very curious to see what he was thinking about.
"Hey Nick, what are you up to?" she asked.
"Oh hey, Vicki, I was trying to figure it out what to do with the vacant, old building," Nick answered. "Do you remember seeing it when you passed by?"
"Yes, of course! Is it the one next to the museum?"
"Exactly! But the problem is I can't decide what we will build with this old building!"
Vicki crossed her arms and sighed. "Oh, this is a tough one alright..."
"It certainly is, yes yes," agreed the raccoon, who appeared to be none other than Tom Nook.
Vicki immediately turned to Tom Nook. "Oh really?"
"Sure is," said Lyle, who was the blue otter and Tom Nook's assistant. "We're thinking very hard to come up with the idea, bang!"
"Either we want it to turn into the restaurant..." said Digby, who was the brown dog and Isabelle's brother.
"Or we can make it into the hotel," Lottie added, who was the pink otter and Lyle's niece.
Everyone started to complain or argue about what the old, vacant building would be built very soon. Vicki and Nick sighed as they were about to leave Nook's Homes. While they went home, Vicki heard a strange noise coming out of nowhere all of the sudden.
"Help...help me..."
Vicki looked around at Main Street, but she didn't see anyone calling for help. "Huh, that's weird..."
"What's wrong?" Nick asked, as he was looking at her in a very concern way.
"I thought I heard someone calling for help, but I don't see anyone at all...Did you hear that?"
"Nah, I didn't hear anything, it's probably just the wind."
"Well, I guess you had a good point there."
Vicki and Nick continued on their way home. Although, she couldn't help but to think of where that voice was coming from. It didn't make sense of why her brother didn't hear it, unlike herself.
At the dark, shadowy cave, Teb the dark sorcerer used his cauldron to seek out the town with purity and good will to invade. He decided to target the town called StarLily where Vicki and Nick lived. He immediately summoned his follower to come forth.
"Black Krow, I have a mission for you," said Teb, looking at the young man. He had dark red hair, had the different colored-eyes (on his left eye was grey and on his right eye was red), and had the scar across his left eye.
"What's the mission you have in mind, master?" Black Krow asked.
"Black Krow, I want you to go to that town and do something painful to those happy animals! You got that?"
"Ah ha ha ha! Understood! I'll do everything that I can, master!" Black Krow teleported and started his mission.
At night, Vicki was asleep in her bedroom. All of the sudden, she heard the same voice from before during her sleep and started to dream. She dreamed that she was running up the hill and saw a wonderful view. A few moments later, the spirit guardian appeared in front of her. And it was none other than Serena!
"You're here!" she exclaimed. "You're the one who I'm seeking for help!"
"Huh? How exactly?" Vicki asked in a confused way.
Serena explained to Vicki about how the villain, Teb stole the spirit power from the Sky Temple which it was now in ruins; and she ended up contacting her by the wishing stars. That was the reason why Vicki was the only one who can hear Serena's cries, no one else did. Not even her own brother Nick could hear that. Serena also told Vicki that she needed her help to stop Teb from controlling the spirit power and invading the world.
"Okay, but the question is how can I do that?" Vicki asked.
"Just allow me to give this to you," Serena replied, as she used her power to create a unique item.
"Is this...the microphone?"
"It's not just an ordinary microphone, it's the transformation mic. By using it, you can transform into a fighting form known as Phantom Angel!"
"Phantom Angel? Ah, so I can use this mic to turn myself into a different person?"
Serena nodded. "Exactly! Just remember, use it whenever the evil strikes in your town or anywhere else. You may never know what their plan will be! Understand?"
"Yes, I understand!" Vicki nodded. When she took the transformation mic, the light began to shine very brightly!
The next morning, Vicki woke up and got up from her bed. She looked up at her window and saw the beautiful sunrise. She had a strange dream about Serena telling her about the evil forces and the transformation mic she gave her. She wasn't sure whether the whole thing, Serena told her, was real or not.
When Vicki arrived at Main Street, she noticed that the old and vacant building, Nick mentioned before, became the accessory shop! All the animal villagers were eager to stop by and check out what they had for sale. Vicki peeked through the window and saw the amazing items she never saw at either Nooklings' or Able Sisters. The accessory shop was selling hair clips, bracelets, earrings, rings, necklace, and even badges. She saw the shop owner who appeared to be the young man with the medium red hair, wore a top hat, had brown eyes with the monocle on his left, and wore the gray suit. Some female customers were very fond of his attractiveness, some thought he was handsome, and some loved his recommendations of what's best for them.
After Vicki saw everything from the accessory shop, she immediately rushed to Nook's Homes to see Nick. She didn't notice that Lottie was wearing an emerald leaf pin she bought from the new shop. She thought it looked really great on her! Tom Nook, Lyle, and Digby were less impressed, but more concerned for a very strange reason. Vicki saw Nick sitting at his desk and looked very unhappy.
"Hey, you guys finally decided to turn this old building into the accessory shop!" said Vicki excitedly. "What a quick grand opening I say!"
Nick sighed. "Unfortunately, Vicki, we didn't come up with an idea like that...None of us, not even Lottie..."
Vicki was shocked and confused. "Wait, what? I thought for sure-"
Nick interrupted her and explained. "Someone must've used that building to set up their own shop without letting us know!"
"Huh, really now? That's kind of weird..."
Suddenly, Vicki and Nick heard a moan nearby. They looked at Lottie, who immediately shook her head and felt a little dizzy. Lyle rushed to his niece and caught her before she collapsed to the floor. Everyone came close to them like a circle and checked to see if Lottie's okay.
"Oh, Lottie!" Lyle said anxiously. "Are you okay?"
"I'm alright, Uncle Lyle..." Lottie replied softly, "I'm just light-headed...and...and..."
After Lottie fainted, everyone gasped at the same time and Lyle carried her to the sofa. Nobody had any idea of what's wrong with her, but Vicki realized that it has something to do with the pin Lottie bought from the shop. She left Nook's Homes and started to investigate the accessory shop. Nick joined her and find out of what's going on at that shop, too.
Once Vicki and Nick were outside of Nook's Homes, they discovered that all the female animals were paralyzed and unconscious. Nick started to freak out and has no idea of what just happened to them. Vicki noticed that they were wearing accessories such as bracelets, necklaces, rings, and hair pins. As she looked closer, something was coming out from their bodies and into the accessory shop. It was as though their energies had been drained. Vicki immediately charged right through the accessory shop. She and Nick saw the shop owner who took the animals' energies and put them into the dark orb.
"Ah, I see now that he's behind all this!" Vicki exclaimed.
Nick gasped. "No wonder..."
The shop owner looked around in alarm and blasted Vicki and Nick out of the shop. Both of them screamed and got knock down to the ground. After Vicki was awaken, she tried to wake her brother up, but he was out cold. Suddenly, something's glowing from her pocket. She quickly took something out, and it was none other than the transformation mic Serena gave her in her dream. She thought that it was all just a dream, but it turned out that it was real...
"Vicki, this is Serena," Serena explained through the transformation mic. "That shop owner you're seeing right now is one of Teb's followers. His name is Black Krow, and he's in disguise! Once you transformed, his true form will appear in front of you. When you want to transform, just say, 'Angelic power transform!' And be careful when you fight him!"
"Okay, got it!" said Vicki, as she stood up, took a few steps to the accessory shop, and looked around to see if no one's there and Nick was still unconscious. She raised her transformation mic in her hand and shouted, "Angelic power transform!"
Vicki's transformation mic began to shine brightly. Feathers and leaves began to spread from the microphone and twirled all around her. The white dress with the blue shorts appeared along with the wings attached to her back. Two white long gloves were worn on her hands, a pair of brown sandals with two-inch heels worn on her feet, and the brown belt was worn around her waist. Her haircolor changed from green to brown and her hairstyle was changed into the bun. The white mask was worn on her face, the green scarf was wrapped around her neck and tied with the bow on the side, and the laurels appeared around her bun. Finally, her transformation was completed!
Black Krow, in his disguise, was so busy taking an ounce of animals' energies. A few seconds later, something hit him on his back. He turned around and saw an angel with the star compact on her hand.
"Hmm, who are you?" he asked. "I'd never seen you before!"
"Ha, that's a good question, the name is Phantom Angel!" Phantom Angel replied. "But how dare you try to steal animals' energies like that! You have no right to do that! Give them back or prepare for a fight!"
Black Krow removed his disguise and revealed his true identity in front of Phantom Angel. "Very well...If you want to get the animals' energies back, you'll have to get through me first! I, Black Krow, will take you down!"
Black Krow launched his dark magic at Phantom Angel, but she immediately dodged his attack. She used her star compact to launch her attack and strike him down. Once he was knocked over to the floor, Phantom Angel kicked the dark orb and broke it into pieces so all the energies would return to the female animals.
"No! This can't be happening!" Black Krow shouted. "My plan is ruined, and you're going to pay for that!"
"Oh yeah, take this instead!" Phantom Angel shouted, as she was ready to launch her attack with her star compact in her hand. "Heavenly light blast!"
The ray of light struck Black Krow, sent him out of the accessory shop, and he got slammed to the wall. He fell to the ground and groaned in pain. He slowly got up and glared at her after she exit the shop.
"Don't you dare think it's over, Phantom Angel!" Black Krow warned her. "You may have ruined my plan, but I will return next time!"
After Black Krow disappeared, the accessory shop returned back to old, vacant building. Phantom Angel realized that he must've used his magic to turn that place into the shop in the first place. But now, everything went back to normal and stayed the way it was.
At the cave, Black Krow came back to see Teb and explained everything about what happened to his plans at StarLily. Especially, he told him about Phantom Angel, but he knew less about her. No more, he didn't even pointed out of who she was. Teb widened his eyes, started to glow red, and clenched his fists.
"Serena!" Teb growled, as he was looking at the darkness above the cave. "She must've found someone who has the courage and pure heart! I don't know how that dog guardian did it, but I still have few tricks in my sleeve..."
One day later, everything went back to normal at the town of StarLily. Vicki went to the roost to buy a cup of coffee. Brewster, the pigeon served her the coffee as usual, and she paid for it. A few seconds later, she overheard the excitement conversation from the villagers.
"Ohmigosh, did you guys hear?" asked Bianca, the tiger. "Like, someone says that there's an angel, came out of nowhere, who kicked that evil man's butt, glimmer!"
"What, really?" asked Rodeo, the bull. "Where did you get that idea of the rumor, chaps?"
"It's not, like, a rumor! It's real! Tom Nook says it all! Because he's, like, a witness; and so does Digby and Lyle! Like, hello?!"
Vicki accidentally choked herself while drinking her coffee. She swallowed it before she began to cough it up. She quickly left the roost while everyone was talking excitedly about what happened back then. Ever since the evil showed up in town, things would never be the same...
