The story is now changed to an 'M' rating because the concept and draft I had written could be considered too 'intense' to be a 'T' rated story. Be warned though. This story will have more violence, coarse language and themes not suitable for a teen rating.

With that being said, enjoy.

Chapter 2

"Go fuck yourself!"

The woman shook her head, "Wrong answer." The woman kneeled down to the chained up man's height. She held his chin with one hand and stared directly into his eyes.

"How many times have I told you that telling a woman to go fuck herself is considered rude?" The man simply growled at her through a bloody lip. The woman smiled sadistically and pressed her lips against his bloody ones. The man writhed and struggled as he felt the woman deepen the kiss, adding her rough tongue to the mix. She continued to kiss him, so much so that he began suffocating. Desperate for air, he tried biting her lip to force her to separate but the woman didn't budge. In fact, she smiled as she began to taste her own blood in her mouth.

I-I c-can't b-breathe… Just when he thought he would suffocate, the sound of the door clicking open finally made the woman separate.

"Was I interrupting something?" a deep voice said from behind the woman.

"Yes, you did." She sighed and stood up, facing the intruder. "What is it?" she asked the tall man in front of her.

"Were you successful?"

She glanced back at the chained man, "Unfortunately no. He's too stubborn to spill it out. How's yours?"

The man shrugged, "No luck either. She had already gotten four of our men injured in the process."

The woman sighed, "Stubborn family…"

The man glanced over her shoulder and at the man chained up on the floor. "In any case, my men are beginning to get impatient. When are you going to let them have their fun?"

"Tell them to wait. I can't afford her to be too broken that she would end up not telling us anything at all."

"Well, you better hurry up as well then. I don't know how long I can keep their restless libido's occupied long enough until we get what we need."

"Patience. We will get what we need. Even if I have to do that to her again."

"I hope you're right Medea. Wouldn't want to disappoint the boss do we?"

"Well said Aegaeon."

The sound of shuffling chains from behind catches their attention. "DON'T DO YOU DARE LAY A FINGER ON HER AGAIN!"

They turned towards the man chained man. Medea chuckled, "Oh, someone's got their spunk back."

Aegaeon crossed his arms, "For your information, it is my men who cannot hold back. I'm not interested in fucking a woman like her."

"What are you queer or something?" Medea said chuckling. Aegaeon frowned.

"No, it's because I have my sights set another woman who is far better than her."

"Talk about refined taste."

"Heh."

Meanwhile, the chained up man had gone silent. "Oh? Looks like our prisoner went silent." Medea approached the man and kneeled down again, "Is there something you want to tell us, dear?"

"Y-You'll pay for this you damn bitch… All of you would pay for what you did to her."

In response, she simply laughed.

Old World, Kokoto Village…

"Would you like anything to drink?"

"Just water please."

As Hilda fetched them some water, Hilda and Ajax sat down in the living room waiting. Taking the time to appreciate their surroundings, Minerva couldn't help but smile at how warm and comfy the house felt. Its strategic location in the peaceful and temperate Kokoto village, the size of the house itself and it's interior all reminded Minerva of home. However, the thought of home sent a painful feeling within her heart and a painful memory she couldn't forget.

"Nice place isn't it?" Ajax said suddenly, breaking her from her thoughts.

"Y-Yeah."

"I honestly expected a family of heroes to have a lavish and grand home instead of a modest and down to earth house. Reminds me of the choice your parents made as well."

Hearing that, Minerva took the chance to ask him the question that had been nagging for quite some time now. "Was it true, that you were there when I was born?"

"Indeed. I was but a young boy at that time when I first saw you curled up in your mother's arms. You looked so helpless and small that I couldn't help but want to protect you." Minerva faintly blushed at his words. "Shut up…"

Ajax smiled and continued, "When your parents entrusted your safety to me, I immediately took up their offer. And so here we are. But, when that happened, I felt like a failure. I couldn't protect your parents so I was afraid I wouldn't be able to protect you. I was a failure as a brother and Wyverian."

Minerva patted his pack in reassurance, "Don't be. It was my fault that day for running off without you knowing. If I hadn't run off, I would have probably been killed too."

"Thank you..."

"Am I interrupting something?"

Hilda's sudden appearance caused the two of them to jump. Hilda chuckled at this.

"Apologies."

"No, it's fine. You did nothing wrong, miss." Ajax said in order to not make the situation more awkward than it already is. Minerva silently thanked him for this.

Hilda set the cups of water in front of them and took her seat opposite to them. "So, what brings the Montague child to our humble home?"

Minerva sets her cup down and took a deep breath before speaking. "Miss Beraja, you knew my father and mother correct?"

"Yes. They were my comrades. Did something happen?" Hilda's tone grew worried. Even if she wasn't on the best of terms with Siegfried and Eris, they were still her comrades and had earned her respect throughout their time together.

"My parents are…missing."

Hilda gasped, "Missing? As in…"

"Gone. Taken. Abducted."

At this point, Hilda was very surprised. The former Fire King and Ice Queen, one of the two best hunters in the region getting abducted was a huge red flag. "By whom?"

"We do not know. But they left something behind and we were told that only my parent's comrades knew what it was." Ajax reached for his bag and took out a piece of paper. "We sketched whatever it was the ones who abducted Minerva's parents left. We hope you will be able to identify it." He handed her the paper and waited as she looked at it. Their suspicions were confirmed when they noticed her eyes grow wide. She knows…

"Shit…" they heard her mutter out loud.

"So you know what it is miss Beraja."

"…Yes, I know this symbol anywhere." She gritted her teeth, "I just didn't expect them to resort to that…damn bastards."

"Please tell us. Anything to get my parents back."

"We wait for my husband to arrive home. I cannot help you in the actual rescue but my husband can. He should be arriving in- " The door bursts open and two young boys come running into the room.

The younger boy jumped into his mother's arms, hugging her tightly. "Mommy, we're back!"

The older boy placed his bag on the floor, "Did you miss us?"

Hilda smiled sweetly and hugged her two children, "Of course mommy does. The house is empty without my favorite guys."

"Hey, what about me?" said a man as he entered the house. Minerva took note of his short hair and a stubble beard. Yet, the most peculiar thing about him was his uncanny resemblance to the man named Romero they had met earlier.

"Welcome back dear," Hilda said as she kissed his cheek. "We have guests by the way."

The man noticed Minerva and Ajax sitting on the couch. He, however, took note of their serious faces and guessed they had something they wanted to talk about. "Boys, you need to go to your room."

The younger boy looked up at his father with pleading eyes, "But why?"

The older boy pouted, "It's no fair, the adults always get everything."

"Listen to your father kids. Be good boys and I'll probably bake you your favorite dessert."

"For real?"

"Probably. Only good boys deserve a treat."

"Alright!" And with that, their children ran up the stairs to their rooms, leaving the adults to talk in the living room. The man took a seat next to his wife.

"So, who are you, people?"

Minerva bowed, "Greetings Mister Beraja. My name is Minerva and this is Ajax. We have come to ask you for help."

"What sort of help exactly?"

"Finding my parents."

"And who are your parents?"

"Siegfried Montague and Eris Havencroft."

The man's eyes grew wide. His eyes went over them repeatedly as he began to construct the pieces together. After a brief moment, he laughed. "Those two actually did it. They managed to raise a child that is the spitting image of themselves." He took a sip of water and crossed his arms.

"The name is Rowan Beraja. So, what does the child of Siegfried and Eris want with us?"

"We have come to ask for your help in regards to my parent's abduction."

Rowan's eyes grew wide in surprise, "Abducted? You're telling me that the Fire King and Ice Queen were abducted?"

Fire King and Ice Queen? Was that what the people called my parents? "Yes."

He turned towards his wife, "Did you know?"

She shook her head, "Only when they told me. In any case, they showed me something and I reckon that you'll know what it is." She unfolded the piece of paper and handed it to him. He stared at it in shock. "Where did you find this?"

"We found that symbol on a torn piece of cloth in the location of the incident. We were told that you both knew what it is? If so, please tell us."

He looked at his wife who gave him a nod of approval. "Alright, I didn't want to rope anyone else into this but seeing as that you look like you're ready to fight, then I guess there's no harm in telling you." He looked around cautiously before speaking. "Your parents, us and a few others have been dealing with them in secret ever since they ruined our lives." He pointed at the symbol on the paper. It was shaped like a blue dragon. "It was decades ago when they were finally wiped out by the Guild but we had found that not all of them died out. They are known as the Revenants, a group of fanatical people obsessed with Elder Dragons. From what your father told us, their goal was to cleanse this world of "trash" and start anew. To do that, they have been forcefully gathering followers and raiding places for supplies to further develop their goals. We don't know how exactly they are going to do it but we know it must be something of a global scale."

"Tell me, do your parents still hunt?" Hilda asked Minerva.

Confused by her question, Minerva answered, "Father usually does and mother sometimes follows."

"Those weren't hunts, my dear. They were scouting and eliminating members of the Revenants who would dare stray close to the village. You could say that your parents were fighting a two person secret war against an organization we know almost nothing about."

Rowan took a sip of water before speaking, "Please, tell us how your parents were abducted. We struggle to believe that people such as your parents would fall so easily."

Minerva knew she had to tell it someday and now it was the opportune moment. "T-They burned down our village."

Ajax clenched his fist in anger, "They killed our friends as well."

Minerva rubbed his back reassuringly before continuing, "I was a foolish child back then. I ran out of the village looking for something to give to my parents to celebrate the anniversary of the day they met, and Ajax followed me out of the village in order to protect me. When we got back, we found the village in flames and some of the survivors standing outside the village watching their homes burn to nothingness."

"They…told us that they had let in some foreign hunters arriving on a ship who wished to see Siegfried and Eris in person, claiming that they were former comrades of them. Of course, my parents had never told the villagers about their former hunting partners so naturally, the villagers believed their lie. It was only minutes later after the hunters entered the Montague house did they began hearing some peculiar sounds. Then the fire started."

Minerva's will to continue the painful story began to dissolve but she kept on going, "It just so happened that…our friends had been visiting our parents during the time of the attack. You must understand that our friends weren't fighters or hunters. We…eventually found their charred bodies underneath all that rubble."

"And then- "

"Stop. I think that's enough." Rowan said holding his hand out in front of them. "I think we both get it and we don't want to stir up any more bad memories alright?" Minerva and Ajax sighed in relief upon hearing that.

"Look, what we're trying to say is, please help us. Help us avenge our village and find my parents. You're hunters, right? I'm asking for help as a fellow hunter here. Please." She bowed.

After a few moments of silence, Hilda broke the silence, "I think this calls for a private discussion right dear?"

"Yeah. If you would excuse us…" Rowan and Hilda stood up and headed towards the kitchen, leaving the two hunters alone in the living room to wait. As they waited, Minerva noticed two familiar faces peeking out from the corner of the stairs. Minerva smiled and beckoned for them to come closer. "I mean you both no harm. You don't need to be scared of him as well. He might be big and tall, but he's a huge softie when it comes to children."

The two young boys approached the duo shyly but with obvious curiosity. The older boy who looked more like his mother than his father took the first step forward. "What's your name?" Minerva asked the boy.

"Stephano."

"And how old are you and your brother?"

"I'm 10 and Jonah is 8."

The younger boy Jonah hesitantly came closer. "Who are you miss?"

Minerva smiled and patted the boy's head, "My name is Minerva and this man here is Ajax. We came here because we wanted to meet your parents and show our appreciation for what they did for this world." That was a lie. Sorry.

"We understand."

"Good boys. Now, how about you two go back to your rooms so your mother doesn't get angry with you alright?"

"Okay." And with that, the two boys quietly sneaked back into their rooms – and just in time too. Moments later, Rowan and Hilda came back into the living room having finished their discussion.

"I've got good news and bad news. Which one would you like to hear first?"

Minerva answered quickly, "Bad news."

"Bad news is, my wife and I won't be able to come with you. We cannot risk the safety of our children. If those bastards know of Jonah and Stephano, they won't hesitate to attack them and the whole village."

"Oh, I see…" Shit…

"But-" The word 'but' immediately catches her attention. "-the good news is that we know people who can."

New World, Astera…

She climaxed for the 13th time already, bending down to kiss him in order to muffle out her scream. Their movements were rhythmic, syncing with each other as he thrusted into her. Using his chest as leverage, she pushed herself into him, syncing with his thrusts. His hands roamed her body, touching places no other man had gone to before. Her moans only served to intensify his touches even further. At this point, normal people would have exhausted themselves. But for hunters who had abnormal amounts of stamina, sex could last for hours upon hours without them growing tired.

"O-Octavia…" she moaned in a low and sexy tone.

He gripped her waist tighter, "Don't call me that…"

Not wanting to be outdone, Octavius flipped them over, reversing their positions. He lowered his head to the side of her neck as he continued to thrust into her. He hissed when he felt her fingernails rake across his back and as a result, thrust even harder. However, Juno wasn't one to give up easily and thus, flipped their positions again. This was how their affair always played out, with both of them refusing to give in to another until either one finally relents. Their little tryst continued on for another few hours before their respective stamina's ran out, ending their passionate night for now. Finally exhausted, Octavius laid on his back with Juno hugging him from the side, tracing patterns on his chest.

"For someone who frequently complains about conserving one's energy, you sure did go all out on me before."

"It is precisely why I believe that one should conserve their energy for when they truly need it. Like hunting, sex, and whatnot."

"Oh, you."

They continued to lay there, basking in the comfortable silence and the warmth from each other's bodies. Juno was the first to fall asleep, resting her head on his shoulder and hugging his body tightly. Octavius watched his lover sleep soundly, her lovely form half concealed by the sheets and the other half illuminated by the moonlight shining through his room. As he watched her sleep, he recalled the first time they had met…

He was 17 and a student of the Hunter's Academy in Astera. Along with his best friend Nero, the two of them had been rigorously training as hunters in order to receive their licenses and enter the world of hunting. After the incident in the Old World, the Guild had enforced a tougher and much more strict training regimen in all the Academies in order to ensure the culmination of only the toughest hunters out there. This new regimen proved to be too much for many would-be-hunters, with many dropping out, collapsing and some even dying from overexertion. Natural selection was what the Guild dubbed it and what resulted from this choice, were some of the best hunters in both the Old World and New World. Octavius and Nero were one of the few hunters in their class who hadn't dropped out yet. Out of the 16 students in the class, only 8 remained.

"Alright everyone, I've got an announcement to make." The booming voice of their instructor immediately catches everyone's attention. He gestured at the door, "Bring her in."

Everyone watched as a girl their age walked into the room. She had long red hair tied up with a scrunchie at the end and wore the standard starter hunting gear. Of course, due to her looks, the remaining boys in the class couldn't take their eyes off her…well except for one.

"This is our new student transferring from Yukumo in the Old World. Go on, introduce yourself."

The girl began to speak, "My name is Juno. I'll be joining you guys from now on. I do hope we can work together."

Octavius discretely rolled his eyes with disinterest and continued to read his hunting textbook on monster weakness and anatomy. He found the section detailing the usage and importance of elements to be far more interesting than this.

"Dude, pay attention!" Nero whispered to him.

"Buzz off. I'm studying."

"Octavius Sigair!" The instructor's voice immediately catches his attention. Bracing himself for the worst, he stood up. "Yes, sir!"

"Since you're so graciously attentive to our cause, how about you be the one to give Juno here a tour of our facilities?"

Mentally cursing his carelessness, Octavius nodded reluctantly.

"Excellent. Now Juno, why don't you take a seat there next to Octavius."

Juno nodded and walked over to the seat next to Octavius. She flashed him a smile and he simply responded by rolling his eyes and looking away. Of course, she didn't take this too well but hid it perfectly with a content smile. Next, to her, Octavius felt a sudden chill up his spine.

Lectures ended and the students had an hour of break before physical training. Octavius took this opportunity to slip away quietly and study in the Academy Library while waiting for the break to end. However before he could exit the room, he felt a hand force fully grab his shoulder. He grumbled and turned around, "What?"

"Dumbass. This is isn't how you treat a transfer student. Remember what our instructor said about showing me around?" She tapped her foot impatiently. "Well?"

[1]"No, I don't think I will." And with that, he attempted to sprint away, only to find her forcefully grabbing him again, this time by the arm. He tried pulling away but found that she had a surprisingly strong grip.

"What's the matter with you? Why do you act like this?"

"That is something for you to figure out yourself. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to the library to study."

"Did you say library? If so, you have to take me there!

Well, this is interesting… "Didn't take you for the bookworm type."

"Shut it. Now take me there!"

Sensing her determination and love for reading, Octavius relented. "Fine."

That was how their first meeting went out. Long story short, Octavius quickly realized that this girl was far more interesting than he had initially expected and subsequently found himself meeting with her over and over again at their special spot in the library. Needless to say, months later he had gained feelings of attraction for her and to his eventual surprise, the feeling was mutual. Perhaps, his time in the Academy won't be as uneventful as he thought it would be.

However, the sound of a siren blaring in his room quickly snapped him from his musing and subsequently caused the sleeping woman next to him to jolt up in surprise.

"CALLING ALL HUNTERS AND KNIGHTS! ARMOR UP AND IMMEDIATELY HEAD TOWARDS THE TRADEYARD! THIS IS AN ORDER!"

"What's happening?"

"Don't know. But we should hurry."

They immediately got up and picked up the clothes scattered onto the floor. Donning their armor and weapons, the two burst out of the room…and into a burning Astera. People ran here and there, screaming and shouting while hunters and armed security forces helped with the evacuation. Juno noticed that the canteen area was used as a gathering area for the injured, with the Meowscular chef providing the food.

Octavius spotted a nearby hunter helping escort the unarmed civilians and researchers, "What's happening?!"

"Some bastards attacked out of the blue. Set fire to the trade yard and killed a few of our workers." The hunter unsheathed his weapon. "You're hunters too right? Come with me!" The hunter leads them away from the mass of panicked people and down the stairs towards the trade yard. It was a harrowing sight. Fire and flames were spread everywhere. Broken wooden structures and debris littered the area. Around them security forces and hunters rushed past them and towards the flames, securing the area for anyone caught within the flames. Octavius clenched his fist in anger. What kind of sick people would do such a thing?

"The Commander is up there in the front."

They trudged past the smoke and flames and arrived at the front area of the trade yard. In front of them were the Commander's personal troops and some hunters with the Commander himself standing in the middle. Octavius spotted Nero amidst the hunters.

"Damnit, they got away!"

"Sir! I've brought more hunters!"

The Commander turned around to face Octavius and Juno. He shook his head, "You were too late. The battle is over. But…" He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist. "They killed him. They killed my grandson…"

The Field Team Leader is dead? "I-I'm sorry." Octavius could only lower his head solemnly. He may have not been on the best terms with him but the Field Team Leader was someone he respected greatly. The Commander turned and continued to gaze at the scene in front of him. Meanwhile, Juno approached one of the hunters in the scene.

"What's the body count?" Juno asked.

"Apart from the Commander's grandson and a few of our workers, none of our hunters or knights lost our lives. We did, however, manage to take down quite a few of them before they fled the scene."

"May I examine the bodies?"

"Be my guest."

Juno approached the bodies lying on the ground. She bent down and examined the lifeless corpse. She took note of the man's unusual attire consisting of light armor pieces and a blue hooded coat. Her eyes didn't fail to notice the peculiar emblem located on the hilt of a nearby sword which she presumed to belong to the man. She picked it up and examined it. It was an ordinary short sword, nothing too special about it apart from the rather intricate design of its hilt. But, it was the emblem on the hilt that caught her eye. It was only when she examined it closely did she finally realize who attacked them.

"N-No, it can't be!"

She dropped the sword in horror. Seeing this greatly alarmed the Commander. "What is it?! Did you find anything?!"

"T-They're back…"

The Commander kneeled down and asked her in desperation, "Whose back?!"

"Revenants!"

Upon hearing the name, the Commander was beyond shocked. He hadn't heard that name for decades now and now knowing that those dreaded people are back, alarmed him greatly. "I thought they were wiped out by the Guild decades ago!"

"That's exactly what I was thinking. But this symbol here – it is the truth!"

"Curses! Everyone, be on alert! Tell all our hunters to be vigilant. I'll contact the Guild!"

The New World Hunters who had no knowledge of this Old World incident merely nodded and obeyed his orders without hesitation.

Nearby, Octavius had a concerned look on his face, "Juno, who are these Revenants you speak of?"

She hesitated for a moment but nonetheless began speaking, "They are a group of fanatical people obsessed with wiping out this world. Back in the Old World, the Guild waged a war of extermination against them which they ultimately won, wiping the Revenants off the face of the world. But recently, reports and witnesses have claimed that they have risen again and are continuing their grand scheme. My mother, fearing for my safety sent me here to Astera in hopes of protecting me from them."

These things are happening in the Old World? I'm glad I was born here in Astera…

"I have a feeling that they will be back. This didn't feel like an all-out attack." Nero said as he examined the bodies of the dead. He picked up one of the bodies and tossed it onto the pile for burning.

Octavius held his chin, "But why attack us? If they wanted supplies, they could have raided our provisions center yet when we checked, most of it was either burned or destroyed."

"Perhaps they were testing us, " the Commander interjected. "Testing our defenses to see whether or not we could fight. As we had clearly demonstrated, we have a quite capable defense. I doubt they are going to attack again knowing full well how powerful we are."

"Wait, wait, there is something that still confuses me. How the hell did they know about Astera? Aren't the only people who know of Astera those who joined the Fleets?"

Upon hearing those words come out of Nero's mouth, everyone fell silent. What Nero said was true which means that…

The Commander was visibly shaken, "Spy in our midst!" He looked around frantically, readying his knife in the process. The hunters and knights around him simultaneously reached for their weapons too, glancing at each other accusingly.

"R-Reveal yourself, traitor!" The Commander shouted, looking back and forth between the hunters and knights. The situation grew tense, with everyone throwing each other suspicious and accusatory looks. At this point, you couldn't trust anyone.

One of the hunters suddenly pointed at Juno. "You! Old World Hunter! You must be a spy!"

"The hell are you saying?!" Juno responded angrily.

"You are the most recent hunter to arrive here from the Old World. Clearly, as the latest to arrive in Astera, you must be the traitor!"

Octavius came to her defense, "Woah, woah what proof do you have against her huh?!"

Another hunter spoke up, "Come to think of it, you were the only one who clearly recognized the attackers!"

"That's because my mother told me about them!"

"Then that must mean your mother is one of those bastards! She probably sent you here to scout Astera before contacting her and launching an attack!"

Juno stomped her foot, "How dare you accuse my mother of being one of them!" She raised her weapon at the hunters who accused her. "You take that back!"

One of the knights reached for his katana in response, "Only a spy would dare raise their weapon against us! Commander, there's your proof right there!"

"Watch it asshole!" Nero replied angrily as he turned towards the knight who dared to accuse his comrade."

Another hunter pointed at Octavius, "Are you a spy hunter?"

"Where did that come from?! Of course I'm not!"

"You were clearly defending her back there. I'd say that you are in cahoots with her as well!"

Octavius glared at the hunter, "What makes you think you can base off your accusation from that?"

As the hunters argued amongst themselves, they failed to notice the absence of a certain Chief Ecologist.

"Again, apologies if we weren't of any more help towards you two."

"It's fine. We understand that family comes first over duty. We get it."

"I see. Well then, take care now! Make sure to bring those two back alive!"

As they turned to leave, a question popped up in Rowan's head. "Hey, Minerva!"

She turned around quizzically. "Yes?"

"How did you know where to find us?"

"Oh, some man named Romero told us about you two."

"Romero?" Rowan turned to Hilda who flashed him a relieved smile. Glad to know he's doing okay… Rowan thought. "Thank you. I have no more questions."

Minerva grinned and waved as they exited the gates of the Beraja household.

As they waited for the airship to arrive, they took this time to discuss what they have learned so far. "The Berajas were kind enough to tell us where to look for potential allies. We should do as they say and head towards Dundorma and look for the Ace Hunters."

Ajax crossed his arms, "Those bastards are currently hiding who knows where. But, as the Berajas suggested, we should capture one of their members to extract information."

"But we have to find one first, which is arguably the hardest part."

"That is exactly why we should enlist the help of the Ace Hunters. As Guild Knights, they should know where to look."

"Perhaps we should- "

"Please, somebody help!"

Heads turned towards a man and woman frantically running towards the village from outside the village gates.

"Somebody help please!"

Noticing their distress, Minerva sighed. "You think the airship can wait, Ajax?"

Ajax nodded, "Definitely."

They walked towards the distressed man and woman. "Is there something wrong?"

Noticing their armor and weapons, the man and woman visibly lit up, "You're hunters, aren't you? Please help us!"

Ajax gestured for them to calm down, "Tell us what happened."

The woman grabbed Minerva by the arm, "Our son! He's…he's…Rathalos!"

"Calm down and explain to us properly."

It was the man who spoke clearly, "A Rathalos and Rathian attacked us. Our son got left behind during the escape."

"Got it. C'mon Ajax let's go!"

As they turned to leave however, the man called them again, "Wait! There's something you need to know!"

"What is it?"

"It wasn't just a Rathalos and Rathian that attacked us."

And there you have it, readers. Chapter of 2 of Princess of Fire and Ice. Next chapter would be the hunt for the Rathalos and Rathian.

I wasn't lying when I said this story would be 'M' rated. There will be more stuff like this in future chapters so if you can't stomach these kinds of things, don't read it.

With that being said, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I worked pretty hard on this so I hope it was enjoyable enough to warrant your interest. Thanks for reading!
