Sandra stood in her room the next morning. She had gotten up early to finish packing. The last think she packed was her mother's journal. She stood thinking for a moment before finally deciding what she was doing. She changed into her surfing gear before writing a note that she would be back in time for the flight. There was no way she was missing waves as big as the ones today. She grabbed the board that was considered legendary in her family and headed out. The board had a Hawaiian flower on it.

Sandra stood on the beach, gazing out at the large waves. She took deep breaths, calming herself down.

"Thought you might be here," Kyoya came over beside her. "I knew you couldn't pass up conditions like these."

"Kyoya, I'm sorry but..." Sandra began.

"Relax. I just came to watch you surf. Not to propose," Kyoya assured her.

Sandra smiled and looked back at the ocean. "Well, here I go. Check out what I'm about to do." She then ran out.

Kyoya's POV

Kyoya walked down the beach to where Sandra's grandfather was as he watched Sandra surf. "She's really doing good out there."

"Yep," Sandra's grandfather agreed. He seemed to be thinking about something else. "I don't like the look of the sky, Kyoya."

Kyoya looked around and saw the dark sky, and then he saw all the surfers getting knocked off their boards. "You're right, that doesn't look good. She's got to get in," he said, worry filling him.

The lifeguard waved the red flag and blew his whistle, telling everyone to head in but Sandra didn't listen.

"What's she doing?" Kyoya asked, his worry growing.

"She's not paddling in," Sandra's grandfather said, gravely.

Without thinking, Kyoya ran over to a wet ski that was at the edge of the water, put on the life jacket and sped out to where Sandra was.

"Sandra! Don't do it!" he called as he neared her.

"No! I have to!" Sandra protested.

"Don't do it!" Kyoya pleaded. Sandra just paddled out and tried to surf on one of the largest waves they had ever seen on this beach. She fell off her board and both her and her board disappeared under the water. Kyoya took a deep breath and dove in after her.

They both emerged out of the water, breathing heavily. "What are you doing here?" Sandra asked him.

"I'm trying to save you!" Kyoya answered.

"I don't need saving!" Sandra snapped. She then looked around. "What happened to the storm?"

"Who knows? Come on! Let's get your board," Kyoya swam over and grabbed the board and they made their way to shore.

"I was doing just fine on my own," Sandra growled.

"I was just trying to help you! This is the part where you thank me!" Kyoya snapped.

"Dream on! That was my only chance to surf on waves that big and now...I..." Sandra trailed away, but Kyoya didn't pay much attention to it as he probably should have. He was too occupied with taking on his life jacket. "Kyoya." Sandra said.

"Yeah?" Kyoya growled, irritated.

"Kyoya!" Sandra began walking toward something and Kyoya began to take interest following her. They looked up and Kyoya couldn't believe what he saw. Many people were dancing and singing the song Kyoya knew as Surf Crazy.

The people ran by them and Kyoya knew what was going on. "Sandra, we're in the movie."

"What?" Sandra looked completely confused.

"My movie. Wet Side Story!" Kyoya continued.

"How?" Sandra asked.

"I don't know," Kyoya answered.

"What do we do?" Sandra questioned.

Kyoya just stood watching as the song ended and the movie characters headed into their hangout known as Big Mama's. Kyoya grabbed Sandra's hand and followed them.
