It had been a couple of weeks since Elisabeth had asked her to join the expedition and she hated herself for not having told Daniel sooner, but she was running out of time cause the expedition was leaving within the week.

She stopped outside Daniel´s office and she took a deep breath before she walked into his office and found him looking at the blackboard and she sees it was covered in photos.

"Can i get an invitation?" She asked him as she walked over to stand beside him.

"What?" Daniel asked as he turned his head to the side so he could look at her fora few second before he turned his head back to the photos.

"Too, where all this is." She asked as she pointed her finger towards one of the photos.

Daniel turned his head and smiled at her." Sure you can. Oh, wait." Daniel said as he placed the palm of his hand against his forehead."You can´t cause you wont be here." Daniel said as he turned back to the photos.

"Daniel."

"Why, didn´t you tell me?" Daniel asked as he turned to look at her and she could see the hurt that was written all over his face.

"With everything that has happened and Elisabeth is given me that chance to.."

"What about me!" Daniel said with a hand against his chest.

"Daniel what is really going on here?" Emma asked cause they way he was reaction was telling her there was more to it." Daniel talk to me."

"I lost Sha´re and now it feels like i am losing you and i don´t know if i can handle that." Daniel said.

"Oh, Daniel." Emma said with her voice filled whit sadness." You won´t lose me." She said as she moved her arms around his back so she could place her head against his chest.

"And if you don´t come back?" Daniel asked as he moved his arms around her as he placed his cheek on the top of her head.

"Well." Emma said as she looked up at him." Then you just have to find away to bring me home and if anyone can find away it is you."

"Always." Daniel said as he looked down at her with a sad smile on his face.

"Everything okay in here?" The heard a voice asking and they both turned their heads to see Jack and Teal´c standing in the doorway to Daniel´s office.

"Yeah, everything is fine." She said as she placed her head back against Daniels chest and she smiled as she felt him trying to pull her closer.

"What´s up?" Daniel asked.

"Teal´c and i wanted to take you out for one last team dinner, so what do you crazy kids say?" Jack asked as he looked between Daniel and Emma." Dinner is on me." Jack said as he held up a hand.

"I would like that." Emma said as she looked over at Teal´c who were smiling at her.

Two days later. Emma stood inside Daniel´s office and she looked around, taking it all for the last time. She had a bitter sweet smile on her face when she felt something cold being placed around her neck.

"It was Sha´re. I want you to have it." Daniel said as he placed the two ends together.

"Daniel." Emma said as she turned around to look at him." I can´t take..."

"I want you to." Daniel said with a sad smile on his face." That way, i will always be with you."

"I love you." Emma said as tear fall down her cheek.

"I love you more." Daniel said as he pulled her into his arms." Promise me, that you will be careful and don´t do anything stupid."

"I promise." Emma said as she felt Daniel wipe the tears from her cheeks.

"The are about to try and dial the gate." Jack said from where he had been standing watching the too friends saying their goodbyes.

Emma looked over at Jack and nodded her head." I guess this is it." She said as she looked back at Daniel.

"I wont say goodbye."

"Then don´t." Emma said as she took his hand into her own." It´s a see you later."

Daniel and Emma walked into the control room together and Emma and they walk towards Jack who was looking down at the gate room. Emma squeezes Daniel´s hand tighter as she turned her head and sees Elisabeth walking into the control room.

"Are we there yet?" Elisabeth asked Jack as she stopped beside him.

"We are waiting on Doctor McKay." Jack said as he watches all the people that was coming into the gate room and the all looked around with the same look on their faces as he had, had the first time he had seen the stargate.

" Alright, here we go." Elisabeth said with a smile as she turned and walked out of the control room and the second her voice is heard down in the gate room, Emma walked over and stands beside Jack and they sees Elisabeth walking up the ramp and she turns around to face all the people that is standing in front of her.

"We are going to try to make a connection, we have been unable to predict how much power it´s going to take and we only get the one chance at this, so we are going to achieved a stable wormhole, we are not going to risk shutting down the gate down. We will sent a malp probe to check for viability and go. Everything in one shot." Elisabeth says as she looked around the room and watches the people with a proud smile on her face.

"You all volunteered for this mission and you represent over a dozen countries. You are the world´s best and brightest and on the light of the adventure we are about to embark on, you are also the bravest. I hope we all return one day, having discovered a whole new realm for humanity to explore. However, as all of you know, we may never be able to return home." Elisabeth said with a sad smile on her face.

"I like to offer you all one last chance to withdraw your participation." She said as she looked around the room and as she waited for anyone to say something, but after a few minuet she looked up at the control room.

"Begin the dialing sequence." She said as she walked down the ramp and hurried into the control room and she smiled as she sees Emma turning her head towards her before she turns back around and looks down at the gate.

"Nice." Jack said as he turns his head towards Elisabeth.

"Thank you, sir." Elisabeth said.

"You can still chance your mind." Daniel said as he turns his head only to find Emma looking up at him.

"Jack is right, i need this." Emma said as she moved her hand around his as she moved her fingers between his and they bout look down at the gate as it started to move and a few minuet later the gate opened up and they all waited for the malp to go through the gate.

"Radar indicates a large room." Walter said as he quickly looked over his shoulder before looking back at the screen in front of him.

Daniel turns his head towards the screen and sees the live feed that is coming from the malp." Structurally intact?" Daniel said with a shocked look on his face as he looked down at the gate.

"Environmental sensors says there´s oxygen, no toxins, we have viable life support." Rodney said as he turns his head so he could look at the others." Looks like we are not getting out of this." He said with a smile on his face as he looked back down at the gate.

"Doctor Weir, you have a go." Jack said.

"Thank you, sir." Elisabeth said with a smile on her face as she turned and walked out of the control room.

Jack bows his head so he can spake into the speaker." Expedition team, move out."

"You stay safe you hear me." Daniel said as he looks down at Emma with fear and sadness written all over his face.

"You know me." Emma said with a smile.

"I do, that is the problem." Daniel said as he placed a hand on each of her cheeks." Don´t be a hero." He said as he placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

"I love you." He whispered.

"I love you too." Emma said as she placed her hands on top of his hands that was against her cheeks.

Emma moved away from Daniel and she turned to Jack who were holding his hand out towards her and she walked into his waiting arms.

"Look after Daniel for me." Emma said against his chest."

Always, kiddo." Jack said as he placed a kiss on her forehead.

"We need to go Emma." Rodney said as he watched her saying her goodbyes.

"Give me a second." Emma said as stepped out of Jack´s arms and she turned and hurried towards Teal´c and hugged him quickly." Thank you for everything." She said as she tried to hold back the tears that was coming.

"NO. Thank you." Teal´s said with a sad smile on his face.

Emma turns and starts to walk out of the control room, but the last second she stopped and turns around and looks at the three men that had been apart of her life for so long." I love you guys." She said as she turned and walk out of the control room and as she walked towards the gate room, people she had been around most days nodded their heads as she walked past them.

Emma walked into the gate room and she sees Ford standing beside Sheppard and she slow walks towards them.

Ford turned his head and smiled as he sees Emma walking towards the ramp." It´s hurts like hell, sir." Ford said as he turned back to see the shocked look on the majors face as he walked backwards into the event horizon.

"You wont feel a thing." Emma said as she walked up the ramp.

John turned his head and a smile found it way onto his face as he sees who it was." Emma Rose."

"Major." Emma said as she stopped beside him and she quickly turned her head to see Jack, Teal´c and Daniel smiling at her and she smiled back." So you ready? She asked as she turned her head back around.

"Ready as i am ever going to be." John said as he stared into the event horizon.

"Then lets go." She said as she smiled at him before she walked into the event horizon and John followed after her.

"Do you think she is going to be okay?" Daniel asked as he watched her walk into the event horizon.

"Emma Anderson is a great worrier." Teal´c said before he turned and left the control room.

"Teal´c is right." Jack said as he placed his hand on Daniel´s shoulder." She is going to be fine and she has Elisabeth and the major to look after her," Jack said as he to walked out of the control room.

"What do you mean she has the major to look after her?" Daniel asked with a confused look on his face as he turned around and followed after Jack.
