"So," began Robin, trying to start some semblance of a conversation among the group of eleven.

Danni had quickly led the younger generation down the elevator and into the hustle of New York city, weaving in and out of the maze of people and ducking past street vendors, stopping briefly to drop some money into the cups and hats of the homeless. Dick did so to, of course, he was, after all, rich, but less obviously from the back of the line. Eventually, a few minutes after Dick's failed attempt to spark a conversation, Danni turned into a small store.

"This is it." said the girl in deadpan, sweeping her arms up and plopping down in a booth. The rest of the group turned to go to the back of the shop to purchase there Italian dessert, but as Dick was walking towards them, his arm was grabbed.

"So," began Danni, her lips quirked upwards, "Dick Greyson. Haven't seen you since the last 'save the frogs gala."

"Danni Stark," mimicked Dick grinning at the other non-meta "Haven't seen you since my last patrol hear. You were with him." said Dick, tipping his head in Ericks direction.

"So I was." the conversation stopped abruptly as Sasha shoved a green gelato into the other girls hands and a similar one into Dicks before the red head dramatically colapsed onto the booth next to her thirteen year old friend, followed soon by everyone else.

The elder heroes all sat around the counter, glaring at each other in a brooding silence, frowns permanetly on their faces. Eventually, Steve broke the tension with a load sigh.

"Alright, we may as well begin paring up the kids."

Superman was the first to make a move, smiling emotionalessly and briefly before speaking up himself. "I agree. But maybe, instead of each kid getting there own mentor, we should just put the young avengers in the watchtower and young justice in... here... and see what happens."

"The elder heroes made noised of agrement, some of them going as far as to nod.

The vibes died, but I wanted to give you all something after I promised. I'll try to start giving you at least a little something each week, even if its only this.

Sorry for the spelling darlings. La revedere,
