It was one day later and a lot of other weird stuff has happened. First all the furniture in the monastery looked slightly scratched up, Lloyd's pet mouse (yes he has a pet mouse) was gone and something clawed up Sensei Wu's hat.
Meanwhile Kai was in his room looking at what appeared a health file.
"Its been 11 years. The doc said it shouldn't last this long." Kai said softly to himself.
Flash Back
A 10 year old Kai was just being taken from the police station to Ninjago City Children's Hospital. He was in horrible teeth grinding pain. Feeling like every cell in his body was either freezing or on fire, he let out a pain filled scream.
"Its okay kid. We'll get you to the hospital soon." Said the paramedic.
"Uh Joel look at the kid's head." Said one of the other paramedics.
Joel looked and saw two object growing on the sides of young Kai's head. One on each side.
Soon they reached the hospital where two very worried parents and an eight year old girl where waiting.
"Do you think Kai will be okay, Jack?" Asked the mother.
"I don't know. Who knows what they did to him in that lab Holly." The father said.
The little girl was holding two stuffed animals: A stuffed rabbit and a stuffed dragon. She looked at the ambulance as the paramedics took her bother out and took him in to the hospital.
"Get well soon big brother," she thought. "Get well soon."
End of Flash Back
"Kai? Can I come in?" Nya said from the other side of the door.
"Sure." Kai said.
Nya came in warning her original dress and sat next to Kai on the bed. She gave a worried frown.
"Its happening again, isn't it?" Nya asked softly. Kai nodded with tears brimming his eyes.
Nya brought her brother into a hug as he started to sob on her shoulder. It was rare for Kai to cry, even when their parents died he didn't cry one bit. Nya tried to sooth her crying brother but it took half an hour tell he stopped. Kai lifted his head from her shoulder.
"We'll find a cure I promise." Nya said. Kai nodded and hugged her again.
