At the mention of his name chapter two~

"Oh bugger im late!" the small brit picked up the paise. "I hope marik has not left without me, it's quarter too already."

Hurrying to the fountain in the town centre, the place he arranged to meet his friend, his eyes darted around till they met apon the blonde. Ryou breathed a sigh of relief and walker over to great him.

"Heyy~ sorry I'm late. Hope I did not worry you."

Blinking Marik looked up from his design text book. Registering Ryou had arrived and that they was late, very slowly.

"Ah! Hi there... Frig! We are late arn't we?" the boy panicked scrabbling to put his text book back in his satual.

Ryou nodded. "I'm going to blame Bakura if we dont get there in time, he came home early and distracted me."

The blonde then dropped the book he was fighting with. "EFFing hell!"

Kneeling down his friend picked it up for him. "I got it. Are you alright you are a bit ditsy today."

"Huh a bit what?" Marik blinked as he finally put the text book successfully in his bag.

"Out of it, Marik. Are you feeling okay? Bakura was like this too maybe there's a bug going around." Ryou looked up at his friend innocently, no idea that just the mention of the other Brits name was making marik worse.

"it's nothing... Let's just get to college okay?" Marik sighed.

Later the two boys waited the last class as two classes had a joint project.

Ryou was studying animal care and wellfair. Marik on the other hand was studying fashion design. Together they had to come up with and produce a prototype of some sort of accessory for a animal that is marketable.

The pair had chose to make a attractive leash and harnes for a dog. Not only would it be practical but not over the top. Ryou had come to the conclusion that was the whole point in the assessment.

"You have got to think of the poor critter, they don't want to be dressed to the nithes in a load of frilly stuff!" Ryou proudly pointed out.

"Well at lest I still get to pick the colours and over all theme ..." Marik sulked wanting to make a hat for a rabbit, but Ryou had scolded him telling him it was cruel and impractical.

By the end of the lesson they had sketched up their final idea ready to be started in their next leason together.

"I can't beleave you wanted to put 'this is a substute for a bunny hat' on the bloody thing marik! Ya bugger." Ryou giggled.

"I frigging forgot you could read hyroglifics too." marik joined in.

"Well yeah my farther showed me the basics and Thanks to Bakura I picked up the rest." Ryou beamed not seeing the other face drop again. "oh talking of Bakura I think I'm going to be home alone tonight. Do you want to come over for dinner?"

The Eypitain blinked "why where is he?"

"Urrmm well you see..." Ryou stumbled. "Hes with Mariku.. He often stays the night."

Marik felt it then, his heart turn to dust. "thank you for your offer.. But I think I need to be alone tonight Ryou." with that he ran.

"Wait! Marik! What's wrong?" Ryou in surprise did not know what to do. "is it because I mentioned Bakura? Both of them. What's happened? When was the last time they talked?"

When small Brit got home he found Bakuras door keys laying in the hall way.

"so you're not coming home. At least you let me know. What's with all of this Bakura?"

Early the next morning Bakura was stood before marikus full lenth mirror, examining his injurys from that night that littered his naked body.

Bruises, bites, scratches, cuts. He was a reck. He had not slept a wink either, the bags under his eyes just set the whole look off.

He looked over to mariku who was passed out in the bed too his left.

"why did I let you?" he whispered.

He then decided to search for his clothes just to find they were still sopping wet. He had no choice but to borrow some of marikus, so what is they where a little big? He threw on a pair of cream cargo pants and a big black hooded pull over.

One last look in the mirror he flicked up the hood and went to leave.

Stopping in the door way he looked back a mariku. "I feel nothing for you... I'm only here because you're his double. That is all. You sick sadistic bastard." not that he could here him

Bakura walked as swiftly as he could to work. Not that he wanted to go he just wanted out of that appartment.

Walking though the door he litaraly bumped straight in to his head chef.

"fuck! Sorry..." he looked up at the clock to see he was a little late too.

"Are you alright? Christ you look like a ghost." Chef had never seen Bakura look quite this pale.

Normally Bakura would have made a joke at that. Saying something about how god was worthless and how infant he was a reincarnated spirit. But instead he just found the nearest chair and sat in it.

Pulling his hood from his head he ruffeled his messed up hair. "No. No im not."

"go home for today, let me know if you are still sick tomorrow okay? You look terrible, go home and get some sleep."

"thanks, chef." Bakura mumbled at the floor.

After gently patting Bakuras shoulder chef went back in to the kitchen. However Alice then walked in.

"Bakura?" she sounded concerned.

Moveing his head slightly he looked at her. "what do you want?"

"want to hop I'm my taxi? You don't look up to trekking home." she did not like the look she saw on his face.

"I capable of walking Alice!" he growled. But walking there hurt enough.

Alice sat next to him then. "you are getting in my cab and that's that! Listen to me I know you are not a big fan of me but I actually quite like you. I can see you are not up for walking. Come on let's go." grabbing the whitette pulling him to his feet.

But Bakura pulled away hissing in pain. "get off!"

"I'm sorry.. I did not mean too. Come on." she guided the boy to there taxi.

Once they had left and Bakura had no way of escape she asked him something. "Who hurt you?"

Bakuras head shot up and looked at her. "I beg your pardon?" how did she know?

"was it your partner? My little brother was in a abusive relationship. I know what I'm seeing." she half smiled at shocked form next to her and carried on. "you don't seem like the type that's in too that to me. In fact you look like it's making you sick."

"humm" Bakura had no idea Alice was this smart.

"I see. Well if you want to talk to me about it im all ears. But if you don't that's cool too. Just don't let it carry on whatever the reason." she smiled, she knew Bakura was strong and was not the type to be forced in to things so his reason had to be deeper than that.

"He's the person I loves twin brother." Bakura looked out the window trying to fool himself in to thinking he was alone. "Thats why. But I don't bloody know why I'm telling you this!" he hissed and growled at him self.

"it's fine. I understand now. Well this is your place right? You are not gonna be by yourself are you?"

"No my hos- umm brother lives with me. But he has collage soon.. Thank you for the lift Alice. You are not at much of a waist of my time as I thought."

He waved her off.

"haha see you soon. Look after your self."

Walking to the front door Bakura felt the worst he had ever done. He had got to the point he was wanting people to make him feel better. It was time he accepted he was human and no longer a evil spirit.

"I'm home." he muttered walking in.

"Bakura!" Ryou was stood in the door way to the kitchen adorned in a baby blue apron holding a fish slice. "what in the world happened?"

"ha trust you host... One look and you could see..." Bakura flopped against the hall way wall. "I went to work, got sent home. Bloody waist of time that was."

"Well never mind that!" rushing to serve up his eggs before they burned. Then giving his yami his full attention again. "what in the world did he do to you. Wait! Why the bloody hell did you let him!" Ryou's eyes were filled to the brim with worry.

"Don't you know? I thought you was smarter than that. If you excuse me im gonna take a shower and get some sleep before I pass out..."

"wait Bakura.."
