I went to find Lucas, I couldn't tell the truth so I told a lie. " Hey you like." Yeah he's great" I could hardly get the sentence out without laughing.
Lucas pov ( 12 hours later)
Broke has been acting really werid since she met Derek. "Hey Broke". "Hey lucas". She said it really sad like I wonder what's wrong. Huh?
Broke pov
I hope Lucas doesn't notice. He propley won't if I wear long sleves. Maybe I could make up an excuse to bail on prom. No my friends really want me to come I will have to take the pain and go with him to prom. I will not look pretty though with half way showing brusies.
Derek pov
I was in the office filling out the paperwork when Haley came in. "Derek"? " While if it isn't little Haley James? How have you been?" " Good you". " My wish has finally come true I get to take Broke 'home' ." "Ok oh you are taking her to prom". "Yes and I got it all planed out the slow dance song will come on and she will slowly fade into my arms as she lives on last time." "Ok well make sure to stop by oh and by the way it is Haley James Scott now. I live with Nathan now". " Oh well that isn't good one more person for Broke to tell. Well once we go to prom the slow not will come on and we will dance as she slowly fades away. That will be the last they see of Broke Davis and they will never suspect me cause my buddy slips a lot of pills in her drink while I stay with her she drinks them and slowly fades and by the time the slow dance is over she will be gone and I will play the poor boy who last saw her and watched her die without knowing.
