So. . . I would like to present Chapter 1 of the Re-written version of Forever Alone.
**The first couple of chapters are like flashbacks because they take place before the summary**
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters except the ones I made up and the plot I created.
Chapter 1
Maddie's P.O.V.
'Please. God no. Why me? Why?' I backed away from the flames, sobbing, as they grew more intense. I stared across the room to see dad's burnt remaints. He had thought it would have been amusing to see me terrified so he decided to turn on the stove and poured gasoline around it. He tried running away, but was too late and died when the stove exploded.
I jerked against the wall as close as possible when part of the ceiling collapsed near me. "Paul where are you?" I whimpered before I heard the ceiling above me start to fall.
Paul's P.O.V.
I shoved my way through as best as I could without getting burnt, but it was no use. The fire was too strong and the only way to get to Maddie was to go through it. I kept looking around before I found a small pathway towards the stairs, where Maddie was. I pushed parts of the ceiling away to get closer until I finally reached her.
I lifted up pieces of the ceiling and threw it off to the side before bending down to pick up Maddie. She had passed out, but didn't look too bad. I ran back outside with her in my arms, praying that she will live, because without her I had no reason to live. I watched as the sky turned orange from the flames as we drove away from the fire, and away from the pain Maddie received.
We got back to the Cullen's at around 5 in the morning when the sky was still pretty dark. Emmett stopped the car and we both got out, with me carrying Maddie, to find the Carlisle and Esme waiting for us outside. I placed Maddie carefully into Carlise's arms before following after him when he took her upstairs. On the way up, we ran into Alice who stared at Maddie in fascination and Jasper who just looked concerned.
I sat outside the guest room Maddie was in while Carlisle looked over her injuries and other things. When he came back outside, I jumped at him wanting, no needing, to know if she was okay.
"Your sister is fine, but she has suffered from physical abuse for a while from what I can tell. So you may see some bruises and scrapes, but overall her body is fine. Physically, yet I'm not sure mentally. She has dislocated her elbow so I need to get a brace for it, and she just has a couple bruised ribs from the ceiling collapse, but other than that she is in good condition. You can go see her now, but she's resting at the moment." Carlisle informed me before taking off to his shift at the hospital, reminding me to be careful with her arm and ribs. I nodded and thanked him before rushing inside to my little sister.
Review! Till Next Time! :)
