Chapter 2 death and rebirth part II

Akeno didn't talk to his cousin the whole time they were walking towards school and not even when he said good bye because he was heading to his class room while akeno is going to the club room.

"You know akeno you should really stop spacing out while walking because you might end up in the boys bathroom by accident". Akeno heard kiba's voice and it snapped her out of her thought.

"Good morning kiba-kun" akeno greeted him as they headed towards the club room.

"Good morning to you too senpai".kiba greeted back. They had a small chat in which kina was complaining about his last client wanting to go bar hopping. The two reached the club room and noticed that it was only rias in the room. "Good morning president" they said at the same time.

"Good morning to you too akeno, kiba" rias then turned to akeno. "Akeno i have a question".

"What is it president?"

"Who is that boy that you walked with towards school?" This was the first time that she had seen that boy and the first time to see akeno walking with a boy towards school.

"allen-kun? Why ask president?"

"Oho it seems that you have a close relationship with this Allen-kun of yours"

"Of course i do he is my cousin after all"

That actually confused rias "Your cousin? Why are you with your cousin? I thought your family hates you"

"Oh they do hate me but Allen is a special case since his parents were not there when my parents met, no one actually told them about THAT so even when they met me several times they thought i was a human". Akeno explained.

"Then why didn't they took you in when your mother died?"

"Allen explained it to me last year when he moved in. He said that his parents wanted to take me in but his mother died from cancer the same time my mother died, he said that uncle tried to visit me but the old coots in the clan said i ran away, so he hired a private investigator to find and of course it took 7 years".

"And then?" Rias said because akeno suddenly stopped.

Akeno suddenly became sad. "Three months before allen moved in with me his father was shot by thief who uncle tried to stop, so after mourning for a few months Allen used the address that the investigator found and moved in with me".

It was like the universe hated akeno because it took away several people who cared for her. "I want to meet him one of this days".

That struck akeno she couldn't understand why but for some reason she has this feeling of foreboding when rias said that, it was like no matter what she does rias would meet her cousin whether she likes it or not.

Rias decided to change the topic seeing akeno becoming depressed "Akeno how is the finding sacred gear user going?"

"Actually president i have found one" it was actually thanks to her going to Allen's class room yesterday that she discovered it.

"Who is it?" Rias is getting excited.

"His name is Issei Hyoudou a second year".

"Oho lucky lucky, to find a sacred gear user that is in the school premises." Then a realization hit rias hard. "Wait then if he goes to this school then Sona must have known about him".

Rias needs to talk to sona to cash in the favor that sona owes her.

Later that day...

It seems that Akeno is still mad at her this was the second day of his school yet she ditched him. Allen sighed as he walked, he placed his hands in his pockets. Allen noticed that his pocket contained something other than his phone so he fished it out, it was a flyer with some odd markings this was given to her by some girl who was handing the same flyers to others. He placed it back to his pocket and continued on walking until he accidentally bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry i wasn't looking where i was going". He said with bow.

"Next time be careful you fuck face". Said the person.

Allen turned around and walked away but before he could get far he heard the person he bumped into called out.

"Hey shit face you smell and feel like a fucking devil" allen turned to ask the person what he meant but he was met with a sword in the gut.

"W-wha-". He couldn't talk properly because blood started coming out of his mouth.

"You shitty devil loving humans should all just die" the person said before walking away.

'Am i gonna die?' He though as his breathing got more labored. 'I don't want to die yet, akeno-nee, i still need to protect akeno-nee like father told me too' Allen's eyes closed, he didn't see that the flyer in his pocket glowed.

Akeno teleported to where her client, to her surprise she was teleported to the park and to her horror she found Allen bleeding on the ground. "Allen-kun!". Akeno rushed towards allen's body.

"Akeno-nee is that you?" Allen said asked with a weak voice.

"Yes it is me allen-kun, what happened to you?".

"Someone stabbed me it looked like a sword".

'A priest?' That is when she noticed it, some of her residual energy has latched on to Allen and the priest must have mistook him for a devil or a human with a devil pact'..."i'm sorry allen-kun". Tears started to flow out of akeno's eyes.

"I-It's not your fault so don't worry" his bloody left hand touched her left cheek. "It should be me who is worrying about me since father sent me to protect you but i guess i failed" he started coughing more blood then he lost consciousness

Akeno started shaking him "Allen-kun wake up please wake up". She checked the wound and discover that he was stabbed by something that has light. "I need to bring you to president" she slung on arm of allen on her shoulder then she teleported both of them to the club room.
