Upon arriving home, they found a letter on the dining table addressed to them. It reads:

'Dear Weasleys and Hermione,

Firstly, I'm sorry about how sudden this is but we have decided to go travelling. We don't know how long we will be gone, but we had to leave London on a trip.

I will try to correspond regularly, but we will stay in Muggle areas and it may be difficult. Sorry about not telling you in person, but we had to leave as soon as possible.

Secondly, Our reasons for leaving were, so we didn't put any more stress on you after Fred and everything. I apologize if we added more stress by not telling you in person.

Lastly, we have all decided not returning to Hogwarts was best as McGonagall suggested after the battle. We will be using the money we have in the bank and some we earn while away so don't worry about our financial state.

Once Molly had read the letter she broke down into tears and Arthur had to take her into the lounge room to calm her down. Bill, Charlie, and Percy were absolutely fuming about what their brother, and the boy they considered family did. Hermione reacted in both a shocked, sad and angry manner. She ran up the stairs, grabbed some clothes and came down and straight through the floo to St Mungo's and marched right up to Fred's room.

George looked up to see a tear faced Hermione Granger running through the doorway of Fred's room and falling onto a chair. His curiosity was too much so he asked. "They left, they f*ing left! I can't believe them! After everything we've experienced and Fred in a coma, they had the nerve to get up and leave on a holiday!" she all but yelled.

George looked confused and it must have shown on his face as she continued on her rant again. "Your brother and Harry up and left on a holiday because it was too much to handle!"

George looked shocked for a second then his expression turned angry as he realized what she said. He started pacing across the room while Hermione started sobbing in the chair.

"After everything we've been through together, they leave me behind. I understand Ron maybe not thinking about how this will affect others but not Harry. Harry was my little brother and he left. Everything I've done with them and they leave me behind. Like 2nd year when we brewed the poly juice potion and I got turned into a cat. Our 4th year during the Triwizard tournament and I helped Harry learn different spells when Ron ignored him. Or the 5th year when we were planning the DA and breaking into the ministry. What about when we were on the run looking for Horcruxes. But they forgot about me and left." Hermione ranted to George. George thinks this new-found knowledge of Hermione over in his head. The stuck-up bookworm had probably broken more rules than Fred and himself. This caused Hermione to earn some respect from him.
