Summary: Hinata and Naruko along with Ayame are the youngest retired shinobi but are still some of the strongest shinobi throughout the nations. What happens when Hinata and Naruko have to join one of the new rookie genin teams as two of them are short on members? What will the rookies think of them and how will the team react to their new members? Fem Naruto

For story purposes Hinata and Naruko are 15 and Ayame is 16. The rookies are still 12 and whilst the members of team nine are all 13. The senseis are all aged from 24 – 28.
Finally finished it and to those who have been waiting for this chapter to be released I am sorry it took so long to get it done T-T
Team 7 sat on the roof staring at their sensei, Sai having re-joined them at some point between the classroom and the roof, after having gone to do what they would never know though if Hinata had to guess Danzo had him doing something. So here they were sat waiting for Kakashi to start speaking. Staring at the genin observing them closely before finally speaking up "Well then, we'll start with introductions you there pinkie your first" pointing towards Sakura.
"Um… sensei perhaps you could go first show us what you mean" Sakura said in response
"I'm Kakashi Hatake. I have no desire to tell you my likes and dislikes… My dreams for the future… Hmm… As for my hobbies… I have lots of hobbies…" Kakashi replied making his team sans Hinata and Naruko think all he did was tell us his name.
Looking between the four genin Kakashi pointed to Sakura saying "Okay pinky your turn" making Sakura twitch slightly at the pinky comment. (A/N: We all know how hers goes so we will… and it maybe isn't due to the fact that I forgot? ^-^ either way back to the story)
"Ok the brooding one you next after than it will go pearl then whiskers and finally the silent one" Kakashi said simply
""My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I hate a lot of things, and I don't particularly like anything. What I have is not a dream, because I will make it a reality. I'm going to restore my clan, and kill a certain someone." Sasuke said before he continuing to brood.
"My Name is Hinata Hyuuga. I like training, cinnamon buns (coughobsessedcough Naruko said straight after getting a small glare from said Hyuuga), tea and my friends also a certain someone. I dislike people who hate others for something out of their control, the divide in my clan, a certain cat and some other stuff. My hobbies well training and spending time with my friends along with writing to said someone. My dream is to unite my clan" Hinata told them introducing herself to the team before turning to Naruko as she was last to introduce herself.
"Ok whiskers your turn" Kakashi told her simply as the team were now staring at her waiting
Glaring slightly at Kakashi she spoke up introducing herself to the rest of the team "I'm Naruko Uzumaki. I like training, tea and my friend and a certain someone as well though not same someone as hina-chan (Naru-chan you missed of ramen) ah yeah almost forgot I like ramen too. I dislike people who judge others for something that they have no control over, an annoying cat and other stuff. My hobbies are the same as hina-chan. Dreams well I'm not too sure yet."
"Ok silent one your turn"
Sai looked up from his drawing which he was doing before he said "My name is Sai. I like learning about emotions and how people interact. Dislikes? Hobbies well they are same as my likes and my art. Dreams to finish something"
Kakashi just nodded before explaining what they would be doing tomorrow. (A/N: I know I didn't go into detail on this part but meh you know how it goes ^-^).
Naruko groaned as she woke up the next day and rolled over her arm hitting something soft, she blinked slightly confused as yawned taking a deep breath she caught the scent of lavender and guessed it was Hinata still asleep next to her. Wondering why she was there it took a few seconds of thinking before she remembered that Hinata had stayed overnight to talk about what they thought of their new teammates and how they felt being ninja again after they had picked some stuff up from hers letting Hinata's father know that she would be staying at Naruko's house. Slowly sitting up she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes before shaking Hinata telling her it was time to get up. Standing up from the bed she headed to the bathroom to get a quick shower to help wake her up a bit.
She emerged from the bathroom about half an hour later Hinata up and in the kitchen making them both some breakfast from what she could hear. Wrapping her towel around her securely another towel on her head she walked towards her closet and began to decide on a style for today's outfit. She picked out a pair of black shorts (not denim ones) with the trim on the sides and round the bottoms along with the waist band part of them being orange and she grabbed a black tank top with the kanji for kitsune on the back. Closing her closet she then went hair draws which contained her underwear, bras and socks she went to the middle draw and grabbed a pair of knee high black socks which had two orange stripes just near the top, going to the draw above that she got a pair of simple black panties with orange spots and then went to the top draw getting the matching bra out. Placing the items of clothing on her bed she began to get dressed for the day leaving the towel on her head as she went into the kitchen for breakfast to eat whilst Hinata took her turn using the shower.
Hinata emerged into the kitchen half an hour later wearing the same as Naruko only the black was lavender and the orange was white, the kanji on the back of the tank top was the kanji for neko and her knee-high socks were white with two lavender strips near the top. She had cut her bangs yesterday giving herself a full fringe which as it went towards the rest of her hair it got longer to blend in. Her fringe was left down whilst the rest was pulled back into a high pony tail which went down to the middle of her back. She walked over to Naruko grabbing her hand and took her into the bedroom so she could do Naruko's hair. Naruko had full fringe but hers was the same length only with the long strips of hair at the edges. Like Hinata's hair, her fringe was left down but the rest of her hair was pulled back into two high pigtails which reached her waist. She rubbed some cream over Naruko's eyes before putting a black blindfold round them like yesterday. Putting their converse on which had matched their outfits before Hinata looked at the time letting Naruko know they still had another two hours left before they had to meet their team at nine. Deciding to go spend some time with Ayame they headed out locking the door behind them making a quick stop at Hinata's home to drop her stuff off.
(Time skip two hours)
They were the first two their along with Sai (he also ate some breakfast) and were sat having a small conversation with him getting to know him more whilst they waiting for the others to arrive. Sasuke arrived at the training grounds feeling hungry having skipped breakfast and saw three of his teammates were already there. Sakura arrived soon after and began to fangirl over Sasuke and try to get him to go on a date with her and so began the two hour wait for Kakashi to arrive.
Sakura was begin to get annoyed at the fact that it had been two hours and their sensei still hadn't shown but as if on cue there was a poof of smoke and Kakashi was stood there smiling at his team saying "Sorry I'm late I had a black cat cross my path on my way here so I had to go another way round"
"LIAR" Sakura shouted in response
Hinata then spoke up saying "Ah that damn cat is everywhere it's almost as bad as a certain other cat I know" getting nods of agreement from Kakashi, Sai and Naruko.
"Well then on with the test" Kakashi told them before he went onto explain what they would be doing (Meh you know what he says so will skip this bit, if you don't watch the episode where he gives team 7 the bell test then you will know what I am on about.
The team were all hiding observing Kakashi as he stood now reading Icha Icha Paradise. Hinata, Naruko and Sai grouped together knowing that this was about team work, they had tried to get the other two to help but they just point out refused to work with them. Sitting in the a small circle they decided that Naruko and her shadow clones would attack first and engage Kakashi in a fight, Sai would then use his ink creations to attack him next and finally Hinata would try to get the bells whilst the other two distracted Kakashi. Nodding they moved getting into positions.
Kakashi stood reading his book but put it away deciding it was time to go test his team. He looked up noticing Naruko stood across from him hand in the seal for shadow clone as about ten shadow clones appeared. Charging forward they began to engage Kakashi in taijutsu occasionally using Kunai or shuriken. Sai sat not too far away and began to draw ink creatures making them come to life and head towards Kakashi to assist Naruko. Seeing the ink creatures Kakashi took out a kunai to defend against them with all the while not noticing Hinata sneaking up behind him and grabbing the bells getting away just as he sensed her presence. Stopping their attacks Naruko and Sai went to stand with Hinata as she held up the three bells (added extra bell due to size of the team) passing one to Naruko and another to pass. Telling them they passed and to head to the three stumps as he went to collect the other two.
Sasuke and Sakura where glaring as they had been tied to the stumps whereas the other three were sat there facing Kakashi each with a bell in their hand. Looking around at them all Kakashi asked "Do you know why Sasuke and Sakura are tied up"
It was Naruko who answered "Because they didn't understand the meaning of this test and refused our help in retrieving the bells when we asked if they wanted to team up with us to get the bells since Kakashi was a jounin and no genin alone can take on a jounin meaning we gave them one of the biggest clues including that there has never been a team consisting of just two genin and a jounin."
"Very good Naruko, now would you tell them what them the purpose of the test which they failed to understand despite the big hints?"
"Of course Kakashi-sensei, its team work. The test was to show how well we worked together as a team to retrieve an item in this case two items from an enemy."
"Well done again. Now you three can eat and you are not allowed to feed Sasuke or Sakura. Once lunch is over you may have another chance for the whole team to pass otherwise it's back to the academy with all of you, well san Naruko and Hinata you would be able to go back to retirement (Sasuke and Sakura were confused at this, Sai well he was just Sai) again." He told them all before disappearing and reappeared further away out of site watching what they would do.
Hinata, Naruko and Sai didn't even pay attention to their lunches but faced the other two observing them when they heard what sounded like a stomach growling. Sighing they would need to feed them both so they were at the top of their games. Hinata went over to Sasuke whilst Sai went over to Sakura and began to feed them despite them both denying they were "You!... (pause add dark sky and lightening for dramatic effect and continue) pass (cue normal sky)" getting a couple of shocked looks. Explaining everything else he needed to and giving them the comrades and trash speak; he cut Sasuke and Sakura down and dismissed his team for the day.
Naruko was stuck wandering around the village for a while she had nothing else to do as Ayame was busy working and Hinata had family business to attend. She could feel their glares, even if they thought she couldn't see them. She was bored there wasn't anything to do at all; she would just wander till there was something to do.
It wasn't until half an hour in to her walk that someone began following her, three people to be exact. She knew exactly who was following so she led them to the normal meeting place and turned round to face them. "You three seriously need to work on your disguise, your rock is still square and you can clearly see the eyeholes." She told/scolded them.
(Insert the intro of the Konohamaru squad)
"So guys what did you need? And I was serious about the disguise you three, Konohamaru I thought I taught you better in your disguises." She asked them confused
"Hehe Naruko-shishou gomen, anyways you forgot to meet me yesterday for my training. Also my friends here tagged along, we were on our way to meet Hanabi-chan, I wanted her to meet my new friends" He replied sheepishly scratching the back of his head.
Motioning for the trio to follow she began to continue her walk as she started to speak "It's nice to see you finally made a couple more friends outside of Hanabi-chan"
"Me too Shishou me too. I finally have a couple more friends to play with me, it's going to be great." He replied happily doing a little happy dance causing him to nearly bump into her when she came to an abrupt stop turning to face the three of them.
"Yes of course Konohamaru" She started putting her hands on his shoulder to stop his happy dance and calm him down giving him a serious look before she continued "You must remember although I may not train you now due to circumstances, I want you to continue working on what I taught you and not slack off. You know there will be consequences if you do and remember not teaching others this stuff understood? Hinata has told the same to Hanabi as well so don't worry she got this speech as well"
"Hai Naruko-shishou" Konohamaru replied fully understanding what she asked of him and he knew there would be consequences if he disobeyed what he had been told.
"Anyways Kono you and your friends run along now, I will see you around. I have things to do" She told them waving bye before entering the ramen stand. Naruko smiled at Ayame and Teuchi as she entered the ramen stand and ordered her usual bowl of miso ramen.
She spent the rest of the day with Ayame, after Teuchi gave her the rest of the day off, talking about random stuff. Smiling she said good bye to Ayame as they parted ways both going to their separate homes. Thinking about the present and the past years she thought of how much had changed since then and how some things affected her life. She snapped out of her thoughts as soon as she arrived at the door to her apartment, not the best apartment or apartment complex but it was home. Entering she decided to head straight to bed so she got a quick shower and changing into her pyjamas she headed to bed. She went to sleep that night continuing her train of thought on the past, present and what the future may hold for her.
Finally done and I'm not too keen on it tbh :/ I'm not sure what it is but I don't like it. Well anyways a quick authors note: I got a review saying that I should just stop this story all together just because of a character tag I used. I would like the to point out to them and a couple of others about my use of the char tag: I will only ever use the Naruko tag if I am giving Naruto a family member named Naruko otherwise if it's a fem Naruto story and I've called them Naruko I will use the Naruto tag and to the one whom called me a yuri nutjob where does it say anything about this being a yuri? sure later on I might add yuri pairing but at the moment there is no yuri in my story whatsoever. I have nothing against yuri or yaoi btw it's just my story has no yaoi or yuri in it. And to those who left kind reviews I thank you for the reviews.
