Chapter 2:

Haruka was lost in a hypnotic trance. She felt as if she was pulled into another dimension as the aqua siren danced to her own rhythm and melody. To Haruka, it seemed as if it was only her and Michiru, and the violinist was giving her a private show. The music was taking on colors and smells along with the sound. Vivid scenes appeared before her, as if she was immersed into a music video, but more. Haruka didn't have any other way to describe what she was seeing and feeling.

Haruka snapped out of her trance by the thundering applause and standing ovation. It took her a moment to realize the concert had ended. Haruka rubbed her eyes while trying to reorintate herself. "What in the world did I just watch," she muttered to herself. If she wasn't intrigued enough before the show started, just witnessing that concert had her extremely determined to meet the violinist.

Haruka quickly slipped out of the nose bleeder balcony section. The one time an aisle seat with poor view of the stage comes in handy. No one wants the seat. It didn't take Haruka long to make her way to behind the stage. If Haruka was trying to leave the parking ramp, that would be another story altogether with many minutes wasted sitting in her convertible sports car. Security seemed to have dissipated since the concert had ended. Either Michiru wasn't in high demand with crazy fans yet, or her fan base was normal mellow fans. Or a third, drastically disappointing option. The violinist had already left.

Haruka approached the door that had Michiru's name on it. Hoping the woman was still there since her name was on the door. Even though it was only paper taped on the door with marker written by hand forming the words.

Haruka was prepared to knock when the door opened and the woman collided with her.

"Oh my! I am so sor…." the aqua haired woman started to say but quickly lost her words as she gazed into Haruka's eyes. Michiru appeared to have changed out of her stage dress, had her coat on, and was leaving the concert hall. "It's you, from the street."

"Yes," Haruka replied. Everything else she wanted to say, quickly left her brain, leaving her speechless and tongue tied.

Michiru quickly snapped out of her trance and bit her lip to regain focus. "You aren't supposed to be here. How we managed to still meet. The chances, they were so minimal." Michiru then looked up into Haruka's eyes, so sad and forlorn. "I am so sorry. I wish the circumstances were different." Michiru quickly gathered her composure and started to move past Haruka with a farewell, "I have to go. It was a pleasure meeting you."

"Wait," Haruka said while quickly grabbing Michiru's wrist to try to stop her. What happened next she wasn't prepared for.

Usagi gazed into Haruka's eyes, while lying in her arms in a loving embrace, with a glowing symbol of a crescent moon rested upon Usagi's brow. Usagi crying with blood on her hands while large, white, feathered angelic wings extended from her back. Usagi resting under a tree in the shade, calling for Haruka to come over. Usagi sparring in hand to hand combat with Haruka. Usagi wearing a strange, frilly, short skirted uniform with long ribbons and a gawdy broach.

The visions suddenly ended. Haruka noticed she didn't feel the contact of Michiru touching her any longer. "What did I just see?" Haruka asked while trying to refocus her eyes in the here and now. When she looked up though, the aqua violinist was nowhere to be found.

As Haruka made her way to her car, the parking ramp was now completely empty. How long was she there with Michiru. It only seemed seconds, maybe minutes. She felt so out of her element, which wasn't good. She needed her head together for her big day tomorrow. But what did she just see? Was it the future? Was it the past? No, definitely not the past. She would definitely remember having a romantic relationship with her best friend. It had to be some lucid dream, a fantasy. Maybe her desire for Michiru opened up some unconscious part of her mind that desired her best friend that she kept contained and hidden.

As Haruka found herself sitting in the driver's seat of her car. All she could definitely agree on, was she needed to go home, take a long cold shower, and sleep. She was restless, wanting excitement, and now she was feeling confused and in disarray.

I hope you enjoyed the second chapter. Let me know what you thought!

So sorry to be so silent for so many years on this story. I recently dusted off this project and am having fun writing again. Thank you everyone who have continued to follow this story. I hope you will find it as fun to read as I am writing it. :) I recently got a laptop and have been experimenting writing in Google Docs. This new laptop doesn't have a cd drive, and I didn't feel like purchasing a new version of Microsoft Word.
