'I gotta get outta here' Tsuki thought to herself.

Tsuki stood up thinking about the demon world.

'Maybe I should go there again, I really should stop coming here and watching in on that old hag.' Tsuki began to walk away from a building that had 'Mohan Orphanage' written in the window. It had been named for her.

'Never cared to change the damn name after nearly seven years.' She thought as she laughed a little and continued to walk. She had at her normal bag of knick knacks, a couple Chinese throwing stars, some daggers, and a picture. The picture had a young woman sitting in a hospital bed and a man, and there was a baby in the woman's arms.

'Bitch.' She said as she crumbled up the picture, like she had done many times before, and put it back in her bag. A small noise was heard behind Tsuki.

"Kito, what are you doing here so soon?" Tsuki bent down and picked up a small cat looking animal. It was really a low formed tiger demon; the kind that can't change into a human form, but can change in size. It was the size of a kitten. Tsuki placed it on her shoulder.

"So, did you find it?" Tsuki asked the little demon, it nodded.

"Good, I have this huge urge to see another demon that I can kill." The tiny tiger whimpered a little.

"Don't worry, I'll only kill it if I have to." She said to make him feel better.

"So, where did they put the portal this time Kito?" The cat jumped from her shoulder and ran in one direction, Tsuki followed.

"Okay pipsqueak, what's our new mission?" Yusuke's voice flooded throughout the room, waking up all who heard who were half asleep.

"Well Yusuke, it isn't that hard. All I need you to do is stay here and make sure everything is okay." He answered.

"What? That isn't a mission. Why do we have to do that, isn't that what you do?"

"Yes. It is what I do, but I need to go somewhere."

"Where?"

"To retrieve someone from the human world." Koenma answered.

"Why can't we do that? Even I think that would be more fun then sitting around waiting for you."

"I have to agree with Yusuke, this doesn't make much sense." Spoke Kurama with a puzzled look on his face.

"Who cares Kurama, just as long as I don't have to do anything I'm perfectly fine." Came a low, infatuating voice from the shadows.

"Well who is this person who you have to get, and why you?" Kuwabara said last.

"We don't actually know who she is, so we don't think she is much of a threat, she's only a human. And I have to go because ogre says I need to get out of this stuffy office for once." He answered.

"And put us in it, why not just let Botan watch over everything?" Yusuke asked.

"Because Yusuke, something big could come up and without Koenma here we wouldn't be able to contact you." Said Botan.

"So this is just an ahead of time thing?" Kuwabara asked.

"Bingo!"

"Don't say that, it makes me want to strangle you." Said Hiei, staring out the window.

"Well anyways, I should be off now."

"Wait Koenma! You never told us why you need to catch this girl in the first place."

"Because, somehow she has been finding nearly every single portal we have put in Japan and we need to stop her before they become more obvious to the human eye."

"But I thought you said that she was human, how could she be finding them?" Kuwabara asked again.

"That's what I'm going to find out now bye!" Koenma said in an annoyed tone. He left by snapping his fingers to land in the human world.

Just then, an ogre came bursting into the room. "Koenma! She found anoth-" He stopped as he saw Koenma was not inside.

"Where is lord Koenma?" He asked.

"Just missed him, sorry. Come back later and maybe you can catch him after nap time." Yusuke so rudely said.

"Oh, darn."

"Was it something important George?" Botan asked the blue ogre.

"Well I was going to tell him that the girl has found another portal and is now in the Meikai not the human world anymore."

"Great, I looks like we are going to have to do something today."

"Hn."

*~ in the demon world forest ~*

Tsuki was walking with Kito on her shoulder. She was near a waterfall so she walked toward it to look at her reflection.

'Damn, look at me. I look more like my 'mother' everyday. The Bitch.' It seemed that Tsuki couldn't even think of her parents without throwing some sort of insult their way.

Her brown hair was four inches below her shoulders and her dark navy blue, almost black, eyes stared straight at herself, looking at what seven years without a real home can do to a person. It wasn't pretty.

"Geez Kito, I really need to do something about the way I look. I could wake up with my mother's build and my father's smile." Tsuki already had her father's smile but she didn't want to admit it to herself. That's why she rarely smiled, it all reminded her of her parents and how they left her to die in New York.

Kito jumped from Tsuki's shoulder and began to drink from the small pond that the water had made. She decided to join him. She snapped her fingers and a bowl came out of no where and landed in her hand. She sat looking at her pet as he fell into the icy cold water head first and laughed. She was thinking of the time she was given Kito.

*~ flashback ~*

"Great! You are very much improving young one, and you have only been using those daggers for two days. You're one of the fastest students I have had." Said a man with a dark blue fighting kimono on. (do they have those for men, or at all?)

"Arigato sensei-san." (Am I doing that right?) Said a young girl, who looked to be only eight years old.

"Follow me Kietsu." Tsuki had found it easier to lie about her name, instead of not telling at all.

"I want you to have something." He walked into a shed that was outside of the dojo, Tsuki followed.

Tsuki's eyes lit up, but a smile never formed. She was staring down at a whole litter of low class tiger demons.

"These tiger demons are very special and very rare. They do not have a form outside of this. But they can change size at will. Also, each one has a special gift that can help you out. I want you to have one."

"Really?" Tsuki asked.

"Yes, I can't keep them all, and you seem like you could take care of one just fine." He answered.

"Go ahead, choose."

Tsuki looked at the five little tigers all playing around with each other when one caught her eye. This one seemed more aggressive than the others, and its eyes were a piercing navy blue, much like her own. She walked over and picked it up and looked it straight in the eyes as it squirmed around in her arms trying to get out. As the tiger got caught in her eyes it began to struggle less until it completely stopped all together.

"I wouldn't take that one if I were you." The man said.

"Why not sensei?"

"Well, because, that one has a little trouble getting along with the others. It was a first born, and doesn't like attention away from itself." Tsuki was amazed at how much they had in common. She was sold.

"No, I want this one, it seems cool." She said.

"Well if that is what you want then fine, you can have him. What will you call him?"

"Kito."

"Kito" he repeated, "what a nice name."
