Reiko Kurama sniffed around the cabin. She didn't dare risk talking to the human, though she was quite fond of him.
After a time, Domovoi seemed to realize she was hungry. He gave her some meat and she enjoyed it very much.
As he ate his own meal, Reiko leapt in his lap.
She blinked her big green eyes at him and used her magic to make the cabin more hospitable.
She knew he wouldn't notice at first, but the bed was now more comfortable and any food he made here would taste better than before.
Reiko also put the cabin under her protection, keeping any enemies from harming the human she was now so fond of.
After all that work, Reiko leapt back into her den, cuddled her tails and fell asleep.
