Danny sighed, lightly hitting his head on the back of his locker. "I hate you, Dash." The blue-eyed boy said. Dash Baxter, school bully. He had trapped Danny in his own locker. It always took hours to get out, often times taking time away from his schoolwork. Which lead to getting grounded or detention. "I gotta get out of here." Danny tried to get his phone from his pocket, hoping to call Tucker, but was unable to reach it.
He was probably late for his class, he was going to get grounded. Have detention. All because of some jock that wouldn't leave him alone, for no freaking reason. Danny growled and contorted his body, so the bottom of his feet pressed against the inside of the door. A green light lit the darkness in the dark space for a moment, Danny paid it no mind. He had one thought in his mind: Get out and make that jerk pay.
He pushed with his legs against the small, metal door with everything he had. He put his whole body into it. Imagine his surprise when the door opened, and his legs shot forward into the smug face of Dash Baxter. Dash stumbled back with a cry of pain, falling onto his bottom and slapping his hands over his face. "My face!" Dash cried as Danny hastily pulled himself out of his locker. "Fenton..." Dash grounded out, his normally mouse like voice deepened with pain and shock. "You're dead. You hear me? Dead!" Dash yelled, as he took his hands away from his face. There were two red marks on his face, one around his eye and one on his cheek. Dirt fell off of his face as Danny took one look at the enraged jock and shot down the hall like a bullet.
"I'm going to kill you!" Dash roared as he stood and ran after the teen. Danny sprinted, darting around the corners with speed he never knew he had, leaving Dash behind. He skidded to a stop in front of his least favorite class: Math.
M.A.T.H. He viewed it as an acronym.
Mental Abuse To Humans.
When he mentioned his thoughts to Tucker, his friend had nearly busted his gut laughing, getting them both in trouble with Mr. Lancer.
Mr. Lancer was the most corrupt teacher in Fallout High, known for favoring students who participated in athletic activities. Even allowing them to cheat on tests, steal from the school, and attack other students with no punishment. People with no athletic capability suffered for their lack of talent, unless they excelled in school. Danny managed to pass each class, most of the time. Other times he had to work harder for extra credit. He suffered greatly whenever he didn't manage to pass a math test, as Mr. Lancer was not only the math teacher, but also the best friend of the principal. Principal Viceroy was no leader, listening to any and every word Mr. Lancer said. He granted Mr. Lancer power, and influence over the students of Fallout High.
In other words, Mr. Lancer was scum, in Danny's opinion.
Math class went as normal, without any problems, for once. Maybe Danny's day at school wouldn't suck to badly.
Eventually, school let out without to many problems. Dash was even MIA.
Danny pushed his key into the door lock and unlocked the door, turning the knob and walking into Fenton Works. Home of two of the best Mutant Hunters of the century. Also, Danny's parents. As usual, they were down in their lab, working on more Mutant hunting Tech.
Things were starting to get weird. Things would bend, or even break if Danny manhandled it, and he could have sworn he saw his eyes turn green for a moment in the mirror.
Danny figured that it was probably just his imagination playing tricks on him, but the bending and breaking of things was odd.
Danny shrugged that off pretty easily, figuring that maybe he was finally on a growth spurt. and many of the things he broke were fragile anyway.
Eventually, Danny logged onto his computer on his desk and opened his favorite game: Freak For All.
A game about fighting evil mutants in a post apocalyptic world was sure to catch a Fenton's eye, weather they liked it or not. Danny played this game under the username Clueless14. Oftentimes Danny would play along side Tucker, his only friend.
This was Danny's routine, most of the time. This is the life of Danny Fenton.
But something is different. Danny couldn't put his finger on it, but something was very different. Danny's also pretty sure it's a direct result of the Meltdown...
A/N time: Ooo. Danny is a little more perceptive than in the cannon.
Anyway, I will respond to all reviews I can with a PM. So, the people that reviwed on this story, check your pm.
Aaaand. Yes, Vlad was OOC in the first chapter, you'll see why. And how that will change.
I don't think I can work all of Danny Phantom's enemies into here, but he won't be short on enemies, don't you worry.
And just to clarify:
Diamondwillow reviewed, and it was a good one. I appreciate it more than words can even say.
But, Danny and Vlad are not merely half Mutant. They are full Mutants. Just wait, and you'll find out the specifics.
On Wattpad, comment, pm me if you have ideas, heck PM me on Fanfiction net if you read this there.
