Dear Fans

Sympathy and everyone,

You put up a good argument but in vain.

Heroes don't always have a happy ending. True heroes are at the ready to give their lives for the people who can't defend themselves. I knew what would happen and I was ready to try and make it right.

Cause like Supes says: 'We all fight for the better tomorrow'.

My death was another step to the better tomorrow. If my friends work together, they'll bring that time from stories to reality.

Sure, I won't see it, or a lot of things in the future, but I won't regret it. I died happy.

I didn't need to be the Flash to be the hero. And I don't need to be 'glue' to make Young Justice the heroes. They do that on their own…

I can't say I'm not sad though. I mean, I'll never meet Uncle Barry's kids, my cousins, or get to see Artemis's face when I pop the question but it can't be helped.

Besides, I won't die.

As long as my name is on the lips of the living, I will live through them. I'm immortal! And a time traveler with the way I go from 5 to 16 to 21 all the time but that's okay. More adventures to live.

And! Through you, I live with Artemis, and our kids of many genders and names – (can't you decide on something concrete!). Sometimes I even get to be the Flash, even if it's through his death.

BTW, could you not make his die in my place? It's my time, not his; people need to grieve for me, the 3rd generation Flash, not the second.

Well, the speed force is calling.

I love you guys.
