Welp, it's been about 2 years, and I've already forgotten how to update chapters, but the Hell with it, I'm just gonna post.

Amy's P.O.V

It has only been two hours since I was subjected into Jane's biding, yet I felt as if days had passed. Even when I just imagine what the next day had in store for me - I shuddered at the thought.

"Over here Amy, the show is about to start!" Jane called over to me, while running over to her next destination. I exhaled deeply, sluggishly making my way towards her. "Ohh~! Are they not just so cute?" She exclaimed. I looked down to see some chao. I admit, they were cute. Could there be anyone living that could resist their cuteness?

Probably devils…But I guess they are not actually living…

"Amy, do you not like it?"Jane asked down heartily. I shook my head and pick a chao up.

"No, it is nothing of the sort. I just… have a large number of thoughts in my mind." I look into the eyes of the chao and see my eyes in its reflection. Mine where empty while the eyes of the chao were young and full of life. I heaved a sigh and put it down.

"Jeez, Amy you're such a buzz kill." Jane said, catching me off guard.

"Wha-?" Jane turned to the chao.

"Right, is she not?" She smiled at them and they all repeated joyfully, 'buzz kill, buzz kill'.

"Jane!" I scolded her. She laughed and began to run another direction.

"Common Amy, this way! Let us be on our way now!" I follow Jane to many more places throughout the day. On the way we see talent shows, we go to a park, we climbed tree's, and so much more. Exhausted, I stop and finally complain openly.

"Jane, I am growing tired of this. Throughout day we have not taken even as much as one break."

"Yes we have, we ate ice cream, do you not remember?" She says, not taking her eyes off the swimming fish.

"Jane, I do not need nor do I enjoy indulging in such things. For me, that was far from what I would consider a break."

"But the God of Life said I have to myself." She hummed. I lightly exhaled, looking away. Not many times do you see Life losing a fight with her protector, in fact, I cannot recall a day I did, but because she had our God on her side, I could not refuse.

Jane looks over at me and groans. "Fine. What is it that you want to do." I look at Jane somewhat surprised that she had given up even though she had won.

"Ok then, if it is your will, I do have something in mind…" I led Jane to my favorite tree in the park. It was away from any inhabitants, including chao, yet still abundant with life.

"Ooh, are we going to climb another tree!?" Jane asked filled with joy. I shake my head softly and sit myself at the base of the tree.

"We can relax right here for some time." I say with closed eyes.

"Oh… well, then I suppose we can climb after." She mummers, sitting herself at the opposite side of the tree. I could hear the soft sound of Jane's breaths, and the sounds of water, and wind. My body then began to relax, and after a few minutes, I doze off.

Sonic's P.O.V

"Hey Sonic!" I heard my protector Tails call me. I open one eye and look down at him from the tree branch I was on, showing him that I was awake, and might be listening. "It's 6p.m. Hell's time. You have to meet with the Death God."

"Ugh." I groaned, and sluggishly jumped from the tree. "Has it really been 2 days already?" I muttered, then yawned.

"Yeah, but you've been sleeping through most of it." He replied with a snicker.

"What can I say, you gotta enjoy the most during your existence, or there's no point to it."

"Haha, and you reason sleeping is one of them?"

"Damn straight. Sloth, Greed, Lust and the whole mixture is what makes us who we are. We are, in fact Devils. We continue to walk towards the bane of my being, or another way of saying it, The Death God. Once we get there, Tails stopped. "You're not coming in?"

"Nope, I was already told what I've needed to hear. For now, I'll just have to wait for you." I sighed, then turned and made way into the room.

"Ah, I see, you're finally here. Good thing I sent Tails, or else you probably wouldn't of ever showed up."

"The was the plan." I spat out. He glared at me, unfortunately, I wince under his power.

Fuck. I really hate this guy.

"The feeling is mutual. Either way, I didn't call you here to show you your place. Actually, after some meetings with the other Gods, we have deiced to settle this war with a challenge once and for all."

"The other Gods… You mean the Life, and Amid God?"He nodded at me. "So what the Hell is this challenge?" I asked.

"Basically, for your understanding, in the course of 102 days, you and Life will compete in these sort of 'challenges' to determine our fate. If you are to lose, is exactly the same outcome as you being defeated by Life in War. except for this time, we can either bring them a new hell, or we'll be purified into a new Heaven."

"Why the sudden change?" I asked, annoyed.

"That's to none of your concern." He answers bluntly. I glared at him, but once realizing that wouldn't do shit, I just sighed.

"Fine, at least, what the Hell are these 'Challenges' Life and I will compete in?"

"The Amid God will explain all of that for you. For now, just go study on how to irritate an Angel. You are dismissed." I quickly turned around, taking him up on that order, so I could leave his presence. Whenever I am in that room with him, he tries to show his dominance of power and read my mind. I'm fucking sick of it, but it was my only option at this point. For the time being, maybe this 'contest' could turn that all around for me.

For now, since I'm re-doing the chapters, the next, old chapter probably won't make any sense… for the update of the 3rd chapter, Amy will already be informed of this "contest." But for now, if it's still up, enjoy my poorly written 3rd chapter!
