Chapter 2

"I left because I didn't want to hurt you anymore," said Castle with more hurt in his voice than someone in a full body cast.

"You never hurt me," said Kate.

"But I knew I would sooner or later so I had to leave to keep you safe," said Castle tears in his eyes.

"I don't care," said Kate "I love you." Castle was shocked he had no idea that she loved him and he certainly had no idea she would tell him that she loved him.

"I love you too," he said the tears in her eyes were gone and he no longer felt like crying.

"Promise me you won't leave me again," she begged.

"I promise," he said. Now he no longer needed to cry because he wouldn't let her down. He would never break that promise.
