A/N: Haha sorry guys! *Rubs back of head awkwardly* my poor muse kinda died... R.I.P... well I got some inspiration from a friend and I'm back to writing... well here be the new chapter.. any constructive criticism would be appreciated! :) And warning until the Tributes are it the arena it won't be too detailed! Sorry if you don't like it like that! And I will be changing the rating to an M as well! :)

EDIT: O_o I am so sorry, i was in a rush to post this and totally forgot to check it... oops.. sorry! If you do notice stupid mistakes like in this chapter ca you point them out please? I would have gotten this done sooner but you know, school and getting a social life has had an effect on my typing times. i go to school 5 days a week Saturdays i have to be sociable and Sundays I work... add in the amount of homework i have to do since i was off (read Skiving!) for ages... and keep in mind that this is a birthday present so I will most likely update once a year... and I'm really sorry about that.. but another friend has asked for one for her birthday so i might be posting it as well, IDK what it will be about... so again I am soooooo sorry! And any constructive criticism would be great! Please keep in mind I am still in school so I ain't that old or experienced in English yet... ~animepercypottercrazedgirl~

The train!

I look out the window as trees and who knows what else. We had picked up almost all the tributes and were heading through District eleven. I had no idea about any of the other tributes, but I hope they were all rubbish, or at least easy enough to kill. I lie back and stare at the ceiling. I sigh dramatically, since I was alone. I hear a knock and sit up, putting my mask on correctly. I opened the door. I see The Capitol woman standing there.

She squeaks something at me, I never could understand their accent.

"Uh, sure." I look at the clock, oh she must have been sent to get me for dinner. I walk and sit down, at the end, I dig into the lamb stew. It was delicious! I glance up to see The Golden Boy come in. I nod at him and look back down. I continue to eat. As I finish eating I look out the window. Wow the view was amazing! I smile softly and daydream about home. I never heard The Golden Boy approaching me.

"Hey." He says softly. I turn.

"Hey." I reply.

"How you holding up?" He asks, I shrug.

"As good as I could, being here and all." I sigh.

"Hey, you'll be fine." He encourages, I stare.

"Is that really you Golden Boy?" I smirk. He rolls his eyes.

"I'm not that bad!" He says, I snort.

"Not that bad!" I laugh, I stand up.

"I'm going to my room."

The Capital!

We stay close together as we get off the train. We make our way through the city. I was amazed but kept it hidden under my mask. We were ushered into another car and taken to the city centre. We then get escorted to our rooms. We're on the second floor. We settle in then we discuss what is going to happen now.

Training!

The training room was below ground level... as me and Clove were some of the first there we stood tensely in a large circle. As the rest of the tributes arrive I look around. They all seemed weak and underfed like most. The district one girl was cute, pretty blonde, blue eyes. The boy was taller than me also blonde and long arms, probably good at throwing spears. The district three tributes seemed dull and nerdy, easy to manipulate. We'll kill the girl then make the boy rig up our supplies. District Four, the boy was a small underfed red-headed boy, he'll die in the bloodbath probably, the girl taller still underfed with dark hair and eyes, we might keep her around, depending how she does in the training and such... district five, the boy was short underfed and probably useless, girl... red hair, medium build for district five, but not worth our time. Six neither seem worth our time, small underfed and no obvious skills. Seven same as six, as are eight nine and ten. Eleven was interesting the girl was tiny must be young, the male tribute was easily the tallest, a huge mass of muscle, quiet hopefully easy to manipulate! I wait for a while until the district twelve tributes arrived. I didn't have to wait too long, and it was a disappointment, both short and weak looking. I take a quick check of who I would invite to the Careers:

District 1; both,

three: the boy

four: possibly the girl

five none

six, seven, eight, nine and ten: none

Eleven: The boy possibly.

Twelve: none.

That's seven at the most. That seems alright.

The private sessions.

Since the order of the sessions was Boy, Girl, Boy, Girl etc. so I was fourth. I sit patiently waiting for my name to be called. Cato goes and I nod at him stiffly. He nods back barely moving his head. I wait quietly for my name to be announced. When it was called I walk into the training hall and walk quickly over to the knives, I then proceed to throw them one after another hitting all the spots that can kill easily. I glance quickly at the Game makers to see them half paying attention to me, they were drinking wine and talking among themselves. I sigh and throw some spears and weights around they pay more attention when I through the weights around as it seems that I'm stronger than they thought. Good. They nod and dismiss me. I head back to the floor and await our scores, it was tense. Finally after dinner they awarded the scores... District 1: 9 and 9, district 2: 10 and 10,, I stopped paying attention after that! Ten I got a ten! I snap back to reality when Cato yells.

"WHAT?!" I look at the screen, the girl from district 12 got an 11 wow. We had better keep an eye on her! As Cato begins ranting ad shouting I slip out and to my room, next would be the interviews then the Games would begin.

Cato

The interviews.

Cato, killing machine: admits he has eyes for someone at home.

Clove, sweet but brutal in the admittance of her knife skills, mentions her best friend is supporting her from home.

I tug gently on the bottom of my expensive grey suit jacket. It was covering a sleek black shirt and a red tie, I was wearing basic black dress trousers and black shoes. Overall I thought I looked pretty good. I glance over at Clove she seemed calm, I glance up as my name is called. I walk on stage and sit next to Caesar.

"Good evening Cato." He says smiling at me.

"Evening Caesar." I reply.

"So Cato have you enjoyed you're time here at the Capitol?"

"Indeed the training was decent here, but I really am eager to to the Games!" I reply seeming bored.

"Ah eager I see, well it will start soon, so you are well prepared then?" Caesar asks.

"Yes I am well prepared and ready to get some action out in the arena!" I reply with a sinister smile.

"Ah yes, well you do seem very eager to win, have you perhaps got someone at home that you are fighting for?" Caesar asks. I mentally curse him.

"Well you see there is thins one girl, but if I win I suppose she won't want me after I win... seeing as she would be heartbroken." I say softly, looking down at my feet. I hear several intakes of breath. I smile gently at Caesar. He was about to ask something else but the buzzer goes off.

"Well that's the end of our three minutes. Cato from District 2 everyone!" He says and I stand and leave as Clove's name was called. I head back up to my room for a good nights sleep!

Clove

The interviews.

I sit calmly and half listen to The Golden Boy's interview. I glance up as he mentions someone at him and that she'll be heartbroken if he wins... he must mean Hannah because if he wins I die and she'll be heartbroken! Poor Golden Boy... Poor Hannah! I sigh as I hear my name being said. I stand and begin walking, my sunset coloured dress blowing gently behind me. I twirl my hair around my finger it was a bad habit and I often got told off during my training with the Capitol Lady. I sit daintily like I was taught and smile sweetly at Caesar.

"Now Clove I understand that Cato was looking forward to the Games, how do you feel about your chances in the games?" He asks.

"Well Caesar I believe that with my skill I should have a fighting chance, I may not be as physically imposing as some of the other tributes but I am skilled." I say confidently.

"And may I ask what skills these are?" Caesar asks.

"Oh of course, I am very handy with a sword and a spear but I really favour knives, so far I have never missed a target." I say, my voice growing more dark and sinister as I went on.

"Well that is very interesting the others should be careful! Now have you got anyone rooting for you at home?"

"Of course my best friend is counting on me to win and go back home to her. She is my everything and I will do anything to keep her safe and happy!" I say strongly. Caesar grins.

"Oh and would you happen to know the girl who Cato likes?" He says slyly.

"Oh I have a pretty good idea but I wouldn't want to make assumptions now would we?" I smirk. The buzzer sounds and after being thanked by Caesar I left the stage and headed up to my room.
