Chapter 2: Bye
After Flame and I shook hands we were taken into the Peace Council Building to say our goodbyes. My dad came in my it felt like he was taken away right after he came. The same with Uncle to. I had no more visitors after that , so I was rushed onto the train. I saw Flame sitting in a window seat. I could tell she was thinking, but about what? I wish I knew.
FLAME'S POV
I was surprized that I got a visitor. I live alone. I USED to live with my best friend Duix who just turned 13, but he was like a little brother to me, and I couldn't see him being in the Games. My friend who lives in the Center Fang offered to take care of him untill he is 19. For 6 years I will live alone. 6 years untill I get to see Druix. Unless I die in these stupid games and have Druix suffer knowing he won't see me in 6 years. He will never be able to see me again. Ever. I bet he doesn't even know I'm in the Games. Well, I take that back. The people who live in the Center Fang go crazy over these Games (if only they knew). Knowing Erica, My friend who is watching Druix, will be telling him now. The visitor I get is Lord Garmadon. Garmadon usualy stays low where nobody notices him. Ever sence the Overlord has taken over his reputation of being evil has gone "downhill". Now I'm extreamly surprized, but I can see anyone "comming out of hiding" for there child. "I'm Lloyd's father." he said softly.
"I will protect Lloyd. I promise" I assure him. "I promise." A guard comes in and starts to pull Garmadon from me.
"Please save him! Please! He shouts tears brimming.
"I will! I promise! Even if my life depends on it!" I shout back. He said thank you. I Know he did.
I was rushed onto the train after that. I took a window seat and started to think. How will Lord Garmadon feel if Lloyd dies? What wil happen if I die? I hope it is swift so I don't have to see anyones sadness. I will finally be free if I die. What will I do If Lloyd dies? How brave will I be then?
