Chapter 1
"Now I want EVERYONE to put their hands up" Said a tall man in a black leather like jacket he held a strange gun-looking contraption that had just burst into the room. " Now you all alumbs have gone too far!"
He grabbed a spray bottle out of his jacket and misted around the room in one fluid motion. Instantly, the doctor and scientists alal grabbed their throats in agony they all fell to the ground and passed out.
She watched the man pranced around the room with a happy smile plastered on his face. As soon as he spotted Winter, he sprinted across the room to her. He looked down to the controls he slowly pressed a button and Winter exclaimed as he turned the energy levels up.
"Ooops, sorry luv" He apologized sincerely. "She was only able to muster a "mmhh"
He eventually turned it off and lifted the lead wall. She instantly fell to the ground, she was slightly scared of the man, but she was in no condition to fight back. She just laid there limp while the strange man slung her over his shoulder and began to bounce away in his bubbly gate.
He pranced, carrying her like a ragdoll, they were eventually stopped by alumb guard. The dark-haired man reacted by, as carefully as he could, flinging her off his shoulder to the ground. He then grabbed his spray can out of his pocket and sprayed the guard in the face. He then lifted her and strolled out if he was having a lovely time at the park.
He neared a small blue box and pranced inside. She was still in a daze but she registered the bizarre nature of the box, in the way that it was bigger on the inside. He sat her down and wrapped her in a blanket of some sort. The last thing she saw was the man fiddling with a control panel before she passed out.
She awoke slowly, she rubbed her eyes and stretched her arms. She found herself in a small bed in small, lovely room. She got up out of the bed and walked out in a control/ front room, still bleary eyed.
'Ahh! She lives" The man smiled at her presence. "Who are you?" She questioned. "I am the doctor" The man introduced himself. " And you are…" The doctor said impling she introduce herself as well.
She looked down to the black numbers tattooed on her forearm. " #3087" She spoke timidly. " No, you REAL name" He said "ummm…" she stuttered trying to remember her real name " Winter" she finally said.
The doctor slumped down on a small sofa patting beside him, motioning for her to sit down. She timidly sat down. "So…. start from the beginning" he questioned. She frowned and her eyes saddened, as if she was remembering a sour memory.
"Where are we" She looked at the doctor with large, grey-blue eyes. " This thing it is called the TARDIS, it is my spaceship. I can help you, but first I need to know about you" She flinched from The Doctor's request. " I am a cross breed" She said lowering her head in shame. " Between a human and a Alumb" she continued, shaking a bit. She let a single tear fall on top her shaking hand.
"Aww, c'mon it is ok" He said trying to comfort her. " It is a death penalty for the parents and a life of experimentation for the child, like a lab rat" She sighed" they do it because they want to have free experiments and not have to worry about them living, most children die within a week." She rubbed her eyes and sniffled "I lasted 17 years" The Doctor looked at her. "17 years!" He exclaimed " Yeah they took me when I was two, killed my mum, a gorey death right in front of me and carried my dad off" She broke out into sobs.
He placed his hand on her shoulder "Why are they so against cross breeding?" He asked. " They have a deal with them but they are still HEAVILY segregated" She spoke in between sobs. " They want to keep me because I am powerful" She admitted " They are probably after me now, they will take me back for more experiments" She sighed " Powerful in what way?" He looked at her with kind eyes " Ummm… I have electrical power erm I mean I have sorta energy powers and extreme agility and strength, but I can't do it on command, it just sorta- happens," She weakly smiled at him "and.. If you are worried they will capture you, we are safe in the TARDIS- for now."
