The Clue Thief

This story starts in the time period after The Heroes of Olympus, as the main characters Billy and Tyler deal with the return of Kronos, along with Python and Cetus and the revelation that Gaea might not have been Gaea at all… Rated T because it tries to fit in with the same type of language as the original series. Title is probably temporary.

2. Chapter 2

Tyler

"Sorry Mrs. Celej, I'll be right back," I apologized to my teacher, as I ran to the bathroom.

Man I really should have gone before class. Mrs. Celej was mad and I had no excuse, plus now I have to deal with this.

I was walking down the hall towards the bathrooms taking the long way to get back to math later, when I saw Mr. Mirand draw a bronze sword. I wasn't surprised, just upset he hadn't told me, that he was a demigod that is.

I would have just kept going and yelled at him later, but then I saw why he pulled out the sword. That's when I started running (what a joke I'm eight seconds at the fifty) to the front doors. There amid Python's bulk, I saw Mr. Mirand in a strangle hold. He seem to be having trouble so, I pulled out my well worn mechanical pencil. I pushed the button and, I waited for it elongated into a celestial gold spear, one of my favorite possessions. It given to me by my father Zeus, in person. I grasped my spear and hurled it at Python. My aim was true and it hit Python dead in his eye.

It gave the distraction Mr. Mirand needed to finish Python. As I watched, Python burst into dust and sank into the ground, leaving only a fang that had fallen from his mouth.

I smiled, watching Mr. Mirand gasp and felt my mechanical pencil return to my pocket.

"Quickly, Mr. Mirand, it is time to give your students their swords," I said, "and take them downstairs, because wherever Python is, Cetus is sure to follow, most likely with his army of clay men."

Before he ran off, I gave Mr. Mirand Python's fang, because he slayed Python, and I already had enough fangs. Then, I left him to fetch the other teachers.

Suddenly I remembered something important.

"Wait, Give this to Water Boy."

"Who?"

"You know who."

Then I stabbed him with a silver sword, he pulled it out, closed it, and continued on his way, like he didn't get stabbed.

As I ran to the sixth grade hall, where I could already hear screams, I pulled out my mechanical eraser, changed it into my celestial oak staff, and tried to remember how to manipulate water. Then I remembered I still hadn't gone to the bathroom.
