Kiba smelled the blood of Angel and became worried.
Angel headed to her favorite place which was by the river in a large cherry blossom tree.
She was laying on a branch, watching the clouds move and tree leaves sway in the wind. She began to doze off.
Kiba being worried followed her scent to see her sleeping in the cherry blossom. Yet it would seems he was not the only one who had found her.
Shikamaru was looking at her like she was the most precious thing in the world.
Denyse was in a deep sleep. Kiba walked up shikamaru.
"What brings you here Kiba?"
"The same thing that brought you here."
"I am taking Angel to her bed now."
"And where that might be, because I saw them move her stuff into your apartment."
"…."shikamaru just jumped onto the tree and picked up angel and jumped back down
"I need to go before she catches a cold…if you remember she get sick very easily" And with that he walks away with kiba watching them leave.
Denyse starts to wake up in a comfy warm soft bed.
"I remember I was laying down in my tree… where am I?"
"On your bed".
She turns around and see shikamaru sitting on his desk with his vest off wearing just a black loose tank top and his sweat pants. She began to blush
{He looks so good I wish I could sleep on his lap like old times}
"Took you long enough to wake up and next time be careful with your hands. It is bad enough you are bad with justsu. Now with your hands like that you won't be able to train until they are healed'
Angel looked away "okay…I am sorry"
{Good to know she still listens when I am right}
"ummm where is the restroom I want to shower"
"It's to your Left"
"Umm thanks"
Angel gets up and heads to restroom and sees all her stuff is already in there even her clothes which were short, tank top and her panties.
"Even the towel…"she turns on the water to hot. She begins to undress and see her hands are wrapped.
While shikamaru was outside seeing the steam of the hot water.
{ha-ha I see still takes hot showers. She looked so peaceful while sleeping} shikamaru lays down on the floor and stretches
{There is only one bed I guess I'll start sleeping on the floor from now on}
Angel walks out side her dark brown hair still wet and see shikamaru still working on his desk and head towards him
"Hey shikamaru"
"Hmm?'
"Where do you have your wraps and first aid "
"Come over here."
Angel's heart starts to beat faster with each step she takes until she reaches him.
"Sit down"
"ummm okay but why"
"Just do as I say." And she does
"Your hair is still wet." He grabs the towel and begin to dry her hair but angel pulls away
"You don't have to do that"
"I know" and keeps drying her hair until it was dry
"Let me see your hands."
Angel is embarrasses and hides her hands
"I already saw them, who do you think took care of them when you were sleeping like a log?'
Angel blushes and shows her hands, shikamaru grabs them as nothing
{She has beautiful hands, she even broke a nail….. and it's all because of that misunderstanding I need to tell her the truth}
He gentle disinfect the cuts and began to wrap it.
"Hey Angel I need to tell you something"
{Angel: Oh no! I need to change the subject}
"So we are sharing a bed it looks like huh?'
"What?"
"It looks like there is only one bed so we are sharing then. It doesn't bother me unless it bothers you" {omg I can't believe I said that}
Shikamaru taken aback of what she said just chuckled
"No it doesn't bother me, well I am all done. I am heading into the shower go to sleep before I come out you need to rest you had a long day"
Shikamaru heads to the shower and Angel gets into the bed
"I can't believe this…ill just count sheep'
By the time shikamaru comes out of the shower and sees angel fast asleep. He walks up to her and whisper "you are as beautiful as ever and I still love you"
{Should I sleep on the bed or on the floor….I want to hold her …..i want to be near her. I'll just sleep on the bed}
And that was how their first night together in a long time ended
