Redd just got back from another Turf War match, deciding to take a little break. After all, he does this a lot. The strong of Inklings even need a little break from time to time.

"Phew! Those were some good matches today." Redd said to himself. The recent match was another win. It's his third win in a row with the N-Zap '89. (I'm not doing this to brag, this happened to me before. XD) He takes out his squid phone.

"I wonder how my pals are doing." Redd said. He's thinking of maybe texting them to see what they're up to.

"Redd!" A voice shouted. He immediately recognized it. It was Marie.

"Oh! Hey, Marie. Wazzup?" Redd greeted.

"Walking around Inkopolis Square. I need to get used to this place." Marie replied.

"That's true. Don't worry though, it ain't too overwhelming."

"Good to know."

"Yeah."

"Anyway, what were you up to?" Marie asked.

"I was doing Turf War earlier. Taking a break." Redd responded.

"Ah, okay."

"Who can blame me exactly? All Inklings around here love it! Plus, I am good at using shooters."

"Don't get ahead of yourself." Marie warned. "Just because you say you're good doesn't mean you'll always win."

"I know what you mean. Those guys with the snipers though, they have good aim." Redd replied.

"Anyway, I'm gonna see how Callie is doing. Have fun! Stay Fresh!" Marie said. She leaves soon after.

"See ya." Redd said waving. He grabs his phone again to check on his buddies. He decides to text Joel first.

Redd: Wazzup, Joel!

Joel: Hi, Redd.

Redd: You doing good right now?

Joel: Busy. I'm studying for college.

Redd: Ah, okay. Good luck with that.

Joel: Thanks! Imma do the best I can!

Redd: Be one with the Squid Bits!

Joel: Same to you!

Now he checks on his other friend.

Redd: Hi, David!

David: Hello.

Redd: What you up to?

David: Nothing. I'm planning on going on Turf War soon.

Redd: Hey, so was I!

David: Cool! See ya there!

Redd: If we ever, alright! Be one with the Squid Bits!

David: I will, dude!

And now, it was time for Redd to go into another match.
