The forest was silent as the golden molly and the little blue she-cat arrived at their destination. A waterfall. It's water almost seemed to shine under the moonlight.

They were met by a ginger she-cat, her long whiskers catching the moonlight. "So, this is your new apprentice, Sparkfeather?"

"Yes. Lotuspaw may be young, but she has a gift for noticing things and remembering," Sparkfeather explained.

"Are you the BrightClan medicine cat?" inquired Lotuspaw, her tail twitching.

"Yes little one, but do not worry. A medicine cat will not harm you, even if they are from a rival clan," said Flamewhisker. "Are you ready?" she asked.

"Y-yes," said Lotuspaw as she scooted closer to the Moonfall.

Sparkfeather took a breath, then began the ceremony. "Lotuspaw, is it your wish to enter the mysteries of StarClan as a medicine cat?"

Lotuspaw nodded her head. "It is," she confirmed.

"Then come forward," she said, then she continued when Lotuspaw took a step towards her. "Warriors of StarClan, I present you with this apprentice. She has chosen the path of a medicine cat. Grant her your wisdom and insight so that she may understand your ways and heal her Clan in accordance with your will,"

Flamewhisker spoke up. "Now, drink from the Moonfall and you will find yourself in StarClan,"

Lotuspaw took a small sip of the Moonfall water and could feel herself getting more and more drowsy. She laid down and closed her eyes.

Lotuspaw opened her bright blue eyes and saw the ShadeClan camp, lit by the moon. Everyone seemed to be asleep.

'It's so peaceful. Is this just a normal dream?" she thought.

Then, in the distance she heard a howl. 'A dog?' she wondered.

Suddenly, a large gray canine came bursting in. Though it was missing a hind leg, it began causing quite a bit of damage to the bushy walls of the camp.

'No, a wolf,"

Several cats, with faces that Lotuspaw couldn't make out, came running out into the middle of the camp.

They tried in vain to attack the wolf, but were simply knocked out of the way by it's large paws. One cat even was gripped by the head in the wolf's jaws, and was shook around until they fell limp.\

"Enough! Stop fighting! You're only getting yourself killed! Run away!" screamed Lotuspaw in terror. Even if she couldn't tell who these cats were exactly, she could imagine her clanmates in their place. Did that tabby look like Lilypaw? Was that fluffy tom Lionpaw?

Then, a pair of cats came in through the camp entrance. They had long sharp claws and fangs, but their faces seemed to be blurry, just like the other cats.

They leaped upon the wolf, claws and teeth digging in. The wolf tried and tried to shake them off, but could not. Blood was rushing out of it's wounds, more fast than it would happen in real life.

Then it was dead. Lotuspaw turned to thank the strange cats.

"That was amazi-" she stopped when she saw that one of the two cats was sobbing, tears rolling down their face. The other had disappeared.

Next, a howl broke out, as Lotuspaw heard a voice in her head. It sounded like a kit, a tom, and a she-cat all at once.

"A wolf can only be stopped by a sharp point, but at what cost?"

So, that was the prologue to Point Rising, the first book in my Warriors fan series! The cats here are actually inspired by my non-fancharacter ocs. Yes I know that cats can't cry, but they can't come down from the stars and fight cats from hell either so I mEAN-
