Prologue:
We were at my nonna and nonno's (grandma and grandpa) house in Rome Italy, the hot July sun was beating down on me as I sat in the courtyard with my little sister Rosa (Rosalie) my mama and papa were preparing supper as we talked to each other. We might have seen us and thought that we looked like a happy family, and we were for the most part, except one thing... My father was holding a deep dark secret. We didn't know it at the time but pretty soon our whole lives were going to change because of something that happened the very next day.
