Chapter 2

A/N: hello every one, I hope that this chapter will be as good as first chapter. But lets us back to the main topic! From here on Tsuna shall be called as Tatara and also to clear some confusion the first encounter between Tatara, Mikoto and Kusanagi is something I that completely made up since both anime and manga didn't tell us of the details except that the three of them met when Tatara is still 14 years old which is Tatara/Tsuna current age in this chapter. Anyway let us continue the story!

Tatara POV

It's been a year and half since I come to Shizume city and, currently I walked from school to home which completely exhausting. The school here while have a better education than those on Namimori (thanks to a certain teacher that keep bragging about himself than teaching lesson), the life here is almost same as back when I still living in Namimori except that I just lose my second mother and my second father is an alcoholic.

Thinking back its all started after the second day of me arriving at Shizume city, which ended up with somehow and someway the authorities think me as an orphan and immediately send me to an orphanage. To tell you the truth the live at the orphanage is not bad…the younger children is all good kids, the older ones is caring for us youngers and the caretaker is all kind people for the start, the didn't abusing nor hitting children just because the do something wrong (which I experienced when I still in Namimori, the teacher there always hitting me when I done something I wrong), they also feed us good and warm foods and they giving us all kind and fair treatment.

After 1 month living at the orphanage, a kind couple who can't have children adopted me and respected my wishes to not changing my name, probably they think that I want to treasure the name that my birth parent gave me, which suits me just fine. My new mother who is working as a lawyer while busy, she still trying her hardest to spend her time with me whenever she can and my new father who is jobless that once worked as police always trying spend his time with me, which made me very happy.

Not that I ungrateful for my real mother, Sawada Nana…but she often absent minded, to the point that I can't confine many things with her, she also…while I know that she have no malicious intent, called me Dame-Tsuna which is hurt me as I learned that even my mother didn't have any expectation on me at all. And don't let me start on that Iemitsu who think that he can just forcing his exertive affections on and I will forgive him…

But I should know that happy things didn't last very long….because my new mother suddenly left us after tired of my new father gabling addict and with that my new dad fall into depression and turn into alcoholic which then made him turn into do more gabling, and then in that instant my life turned upside down. While my alcoholic father never abused me, started to ignoring my existent which I know that while its hurt being ignored by your only parent but I know that its his way to dealing with the departing of his beloved wife, so I can tolerated that….and its not like his overall attitude to me changed that much after all when still sober he cared for me like ruffling my hair with proud look or always says that he is sorry for his attitude towards me when he being drunk and many things more.

While trying to deal my now often drunk father I decided to learn many things to make our life easier like for example, reading about grasses and plants which we often have to eat when we low on money. I know that my nonchalant attitude toward things (which I learned from Reborn) made people and even my father thinks as 'cold-hearted' because not only my nonchalant attitude but also the fact that I never really attached to someone (even through I tried to be charismatic by talking to strangers) and anything, but I didn't care as I know that there is no point to correct as I know that I didn't even care to be called that. After all this attitude is something I develop after the death of my new mom.

But it's all changed when I meet him, the Sky I have been looking for…my one and only Sky, Mikoto Suoh.

The meeting its something I that I always remember which often brought smiles and laugh to my face even now, and it's all started with my usual daily meeting in the morning or rather…an appointment with my bullies to be exact.

Today morning pack of bullies which led by the local bully named Himekana Nobuki (which I always secretly laugh at his name when I am alone) decided that to beat me up with his underlings just because I accidently brought the last bento from the bento shop that we (both me and Nobuki) often frequent and the said last bento is has his favorite dish. And I am sure what has happen next right? If not let me tell you in detail…first he done the first rate 'kabe-don' (or rather tree-don since behind me back is a tree instead a wall) on me and the closing our face and then started to sprouting the usual threats like give the bento I just brought to him and he will leave me alone (Yeah~right…..) and like he then distanced himself from my personal bubble and yelled his underlings to attacked me, if you imaged that than pin~pong your answer is correct.

Anyway let us back into my situation…just as Nobuki's underling getting closer on me with a bat on their hands, suddenly a fist come from behind me landed its mark on one of the underlings right into the middle of his face and thrown backwards from the force said punch and ended up landed on one of his teammates who is unfortunately enough to standing right behind him. After few second of trying to process what just happen, I noticed both Nobuki and all his underlings paling faces and trying to take few steps back as if they try to distances themself from whoever standing behind me and so, slowly as possible, I turn my face to see who's fist just saved me from getting another bruise of the day.

Behind me is a male maybe around 15 or 16 years old with a ruffled and spiky (not like my old gravity defying spiky ones) blazing red hair with a matching pair of ember colored eyes that keeps on bored look that hid the annoyance he as he pinned his gaze and frown on Nobuki who flinched and then run away with his minions while shrieking like a girl. After seeing Nobuki has gone, the red haired teen then retreated his fist from its position which right beside my head and stepped back which made me noticed how tall my savior is he at least about one head and half of my height and a bit taller than Yamamoto-kun and Mukuro. As I trying to burn his form on my head, I noticed that he also directed his gaze on my whole body as if he trying to search any injuries and only after he makes sure I had no injuries, my savior then walked away without saying anything which I decided to following him.

After few minutes of walk of silence, I immediately noticed that my savior walked toward a dark blonde haired teen which around the same age as me and my savior that looked at his phone with worried look that only turned into annoyance look after he noticed us or to be more specific he noticed my savior as I keep walked behind him the whole time.

"Mikoto! Just where have you gone?! I worried after you suddenly run away! And worse you didn't pay the bill….." yelled the dark blonde male which I noticed that my savior just plainly ignored the lecture about the Dine and dash that he just performed few minutes ago.

"Hmm? Who is that? The one behind you…" ask the dark blonde male as he looked behind my savior

With a smile and wave, I then said "Hello…my name is Totsuka Tatara, I just saved by him from being a fist pancake few minutes ago" "huh? Uhhh…Mikoto….some explanation, please" said the dark blonde male after he pinned me with an unidentified look before he turn his gaze to my Savior which then my savior said "he just said it right?" and after he said that he started to eat the half of the bento which I given to him to thank you for saving me and since then I decided to meet the two of them as much as I can (*coughstalkingcough*) in hope he will take me with him and then I started to learned their name which is my savior named Suoh Mikoto and the dark blonde teen called Kusanagi Izumo.

A few weeks just after meeting with Kusanagi-san and Mikoto, I immediately nicknamed Mikoto as 'King' through I never called him that in front of Kusanagi-san.

One day, I don't how but I assaulted by some local thugs that wanted money or something which ended up putting me into hospital, normally I will use my Sun flame to heal myself to the point that I make sure I will not landed myself into hospital but on that that my Hyper intuitions ringing as in trying to tell me not to do it with great trust on my HI(Hyper intuitions), stopped myself from healing my injuries which landed me in the hospital with bandage on my face and head and has plaster casts on my left hand and right leg And on the very same evening, King and Kusanagi-san visiting me.

"Hey! What brings you here,King?" I said after I closed the book I just read while I raise my body up with my right hand as a support

"King?" ask Kusanagi-san with confusion on his tone as he looked at his gaze on King and instead of answering Kusanagi-san, King who still have his eyes on me then ask "Who did this to you?" which I didn't replay and just smile and then laying down on my hospital bed.

Immediately, Kusanagi-san walked closer to my bed and said "Look kid, if you hang around this guy, you will end up like this again." After few second, he then continued and I continue to silently listen "You might think you'll be safe near someone strong, but it's the exact opposite."

After hearing Kusanagi-san said that, I then smile and said "Okay, I'll be careful from now on."

Kusanagi-san who didn't convinced that I will leave both them alone with a deep sigh just looking at me with a mother gaze as he trying to think a way to scold me and then said "Kid, let me say this again…." And suddenly he has to being cut off when King decided to kind my bed just near my hanging plaster cast leg which immediately shocked me and make me sit up.

With irritated face he then with a neutral tone that I know that he near getting angry asked me once more "I asked who did this to you!"

I know by doing this I will probably getting hit but I just couldn't resist and so…with a kicked puppy face that I know always effective on Gokudera and Yamamoto I then said "before I tell you, King…. I have a huge favor to ask, can you help me out?" and when he humming and nodding, I then put my most serious face I can and then immediately loosen it up a bit (a face that I usually put when try to scold Lambo and I-pin) "my foot….it itches like hell! Could you scratch it for me?" I said with cheerful voice and face, which in an instant Kusanagi-san said Huh?!" as he put surprised face which just smiling and moving my toe and fingers as I expected to the scratching on my really itched.

After few seconds after hearing my request, King just sighed and walked closer to my bed and put his hand on my leg and then scratched it a bit and that really surprised Kusanagi-san and while with me I just said "Yes!" while laughing, but unexpectedly with a fast second he curled up his fist and then landed it on top of my head…hard…."Ouch!" I said as I nursing my head, while king leaving my room leaving a confused Kusanagi-san that said "You're one reckless kid. Don't blame me if he kills you."

And with a smile I just said "Hey, don't sweat it…it'll all work out." And with a small sigh I ten looked down on my lap and said "I'm going to become the king's vassal." After hearing that Kusanagi-san with great confusion letting out a small question that almost inaudible "huh?" which I just ignored and continue with what I said while looking up to face Kusanagi-san "That guy's going to become someone great. He might become like a real king, don't you think?"

And when I finally released from the hospital, just after I taken a step outside from the hospital I noticed that King and Kusanagi-san waiting near the entrance of the hospital and as Kusanagi-san about my condition, I noticed King who still leaned on the wall opened his eyes and watching me, with smile I then said that I am completely fine and from that on both Kusanagi-san, King and I always hanging out together and even when Mikoto become the Red king, both I and Kusanagi-san decided to joined him and become his clansman.

Soon, Mikoto started attracted many people and soon those people become the member of Homra, from Yata, Chitose, Kamamoto, we even saved a cute princess from a mad scientist that named Kushina Anna which we soon discover that she is a Strain. After that many more people joined Homra which made the Homra become rowdy place and gathering, which suit me just fine seeing that I managed to handle my previous family and all and I could even tell that even without showing it, King really happy that many people gathering around him and I am sure he really content with staying Homra which something I plan to keep it and make him more happy and one day I hope that Homra can meet my very first family. I am sure they will getting along very well, you know maybe after this December passed I will introduced them to my first family…maybe few days after new year?

But before that, I have a very important birthday party to plan and celebrate and I plan to male it a perfect birthday party. After all it's the birthday of our princess, Homra's princess…Kushina Anna 11th birthday!

And soon without any of us knowing…. on the very same date it will trigger of what will happen in the future. But somehow I got the felling that this time, it will be different…. King will live and that is what my HI telling me and will make sure it will happen with my dying will!
