They boarded Eggman ship the Death Egg they then saw a bunch of Eggman robots Sonic jumped off the plane and started spin dashing through all the robots and homing attack through another. He then saw Metal Sonic shooting his torso light beam at him. Sonic jumped over it and then punched at metal who caught it and through Sonic into a wall.

The other landed in the ship. They then saw a hatch open showing Eggman and Mecha Sally. " We surrenderer hedgehog ". " What?" " Yes, I surrender heck I will even give up this. He shows in his hand a chaos emerald. Sonic was shock. "You have a chaos emerald."!? Mecha Sally give them the Sally then walks up to Sonic and hands him the emerald. Sonic took it and looked at it. He then could not feel Chaos energy from it and it then turn to a mechanical machine which then blasted Sonic in his chest. Sonic then screamed in pain. He then saw metal rise on his arm. He looked at Eggman and asked " what have you done"! I simply made a shapshifting robot with the power to robotize a being meaning your becoming a robot slave. They all gasp. Sonic then looked at Tails and said " run." Sonic then felt the metal reach his face and then he looked at his friends and closed his eyes.
His mechanical eyes turned red and he said " All hail the Eggman empire.
