Chapter 2: Nightmares, an old Tormentor and a Kitsune

Adam woke up the next morning to a crushing feeling. As he regained consciousness it dawned to him. Evelynn was having a bad dream and was squeezing him like a teddy bear while mumbling something in a language Adam didn't understand. When the succubus let out a silent whimper Adam decided to wake up the purple skinned woman "Hey, Hey. Wake up. " Adam repeated in a hushed tone, all the while gently shaking her. Just enough to wake her but not to scare her.

Evelynn was standing in a pitch black abyss. Surounded by the victims of her past actions. They were just standing there staring coldly at the Agony's embrace. For some reason this was even worse than if they talked. Suddently the ghost started to fade and she could feel herself shaking mildly. Then she heard a voice " ..y, he., Wa.. up". This stirred the now drowsy succubus out of the nightmare. Even if none would ever know it. She was thanking the gods for it.

Eve's eyes flattered open just to make contact with a pair of concerned brown ones. "You were having a nightmare am I correct?" But the reply Adam got was a crushing hug from the woman. She let out a silent sob and a "Thank you" before releasing him. "I get that nightmare from time to time. Usually it would last a lot longer but you stopped it. So I am ever grateful for it. What time is it anyway?" Adam just patted her in the back and pointed at the bedside clock when she broke the hug. "Only 7 AM? Why are you up this early?" Adam just sights, points to the slashers still around him and to his robes "Advanced summoner lessons start at 8am. Also you were crushing me like a teddy bear." Evelynn actually blushed at this and brought him in for another hug. While gentler this time she also whispered "Well your just a perfect teddy bear now aren't you?" This time it was Adam's turn to blush and it was not helped by a sudden sound of a photo being taken.

Ahri had woke up at around 6:30. While she had a slight hangover still it wasn't as bad as for normal people propably due her being a kitsune. I wonder what's going on with Eve and Adam. I hope he is okAhri pondered when her mischievious nature came into play and she decided to get some blackmail material on them. Making her way to Eve's room while holding a hextech camera she heard voices from the room. "Ad... start at ..am" while she couldn't hear the conversation even with her heightened hearing she did get enough to understand that bot were awake Perfect was her only thought while she slowly opened the door to take a picture. She did see however a scene nobody would ever believe. Evelynn the Agony's Embrace was smiling while hugging a summoner who was wrapped in her slashers while looking akward as one could. Then Eve whispered something to him causing him to blush madly and to Ahri it was a perfect photo. A loud snap was heard when the camera made the scene eternal.

"AHRI!" was everything the now seething succubus was able to yell while jumping at the vixen. Adam on the other hand just sighted in defeat and left to the kitchen. Trusting that Eve would handle the secret paparazzi. He heard a lot of noice from the upstairs and when he turned around from making breakfast he saw a legendary sight.

Ahri was being dragged by one of her fox ears by a furious Evelynn all the while trying to free herself from Eve's grasp "Ah, Ow, ow, ow! Im sorry, im so so so sorry, just let my ear go!" Evelynn hearing her pleades looked at Adam with a questioning look. Adam just shrugged and shook his head "I see no harm done. Just don't do that again." Evelynn just sights looking a bit disapointed "But if you do I might not be able to stop Eve again" He added slyly. To this Ahri only shuddered and nodded vigorously. "What ya booking love?" Eve inquired as she felt the need to change the subject and to wich Adam just waved around him. "Bakon, eggs, leftover meat from yesterday, salads and toast. Nothing too fancy but I hope it would do. Eve there is some bottled agony in the food closet. Mind getting it for me?" The demon just nods and leaves the room as the food closet is not in the dorm itself. Ahri who was now left alone with the summoning cook sighted and slumped to the nearby chair. "You don't seem to take this too seriously. Is there a reason your not even mithered?" Adam only snorted at this while giving the vixen an amused look "Oh sorry if not panicking due to material that you wouldn't release. I also know that you wouldn't do that due of a certain demon." The Kitsune just gave him a glare but it soon softened into a playful glint. "You wouldn't have a third reason by any chance?" She asked in slightly sultry voice but the playful glint never left her golden orbs while moving ever so slowly towards him. Adam just smiles and waves her off "maybe I want to think you as a friend. Who knows?" Before Ahri was able to inch any closer to him, she got yanked back by two familiar slashers "God dammit Eve! Why?" The vixen whined while Eve just gave her a playful grin. Adam sighted and got back to work.

After the breakfast what was to Adam's surprise quite uneventful unless you rake the two women glaring at eachother when they thought Adam was not watching. In truth he did but shrugged it off as he thought it wasn't his place to inquire about it. He also was in a rush as it was already 7:43 and the walk to the lesson would take 10 minutes."While this glaring contest has been the most enjoyable, I have to take my leave. The lessons will start soon." Adam said in a joking manner while also notifying the duo that they got caught. While leaving the room Ahri could hear Adam whispering in barely hearable voice "I just hope HE is not there." Ahri was puzzeled and talked to Eve about it. Both of them agreed to interrogate the boy when he returned. After he had left a tired looking redhead and a ninja appeared in the kitchen. "He left already?" To which both nodded while getting up and leaving.

After a long lecture about roaming and vision control, was now the lunch break. While the break was for both summoners and chmapions alike Adam was still suprised to see Ahri and Eve taking seats on both of his sides. Infront of him Zed and Sarah sat down with their own trays. Adam gave a smile and light coversation took place. That was until Adam got yanked off his chair and thrown on the ground. Taking his seat was a large man who had an arrogant smile plastered on his face. "Sorry worm, but you were taking my seat. You don't deserve to sit with champions anyway. Even if three of them are that kind. Now how about you take your leave before I give you another lesson." At this point all the champions in the table had gotten up and were giving the man a glare that could kill. Suddently Zed's shadow appeared behind the man and yanked him to his feet. Having a choke hold on the guy Zed took the shadows place and held him there "Now listen to me punk. You're not the one who decides with who we sit. Now even if you cannot be killed here it does not mean you couldn't feel pain. And let me tell you there are three women who want's nothing more than to break you. Insulting them is one thing. But touch our friend again and you will know why we are feared" While he was growling at the bully Ahri, Eve had taken a hold on him. Eve had her lasher pointed at his stomach and croch, while Ahri had her orb draining the man ever so slightly to make him weaker but also to make an example. Sarah just pointed her guns at thje poor guy.

Adam while bit dazed started to realise that everyone in the cantina were now focused on the cahmpions holding the bulky summoner. While a glint of fear could be seen in his eyes he didn't let it show. "Ok guys I know this looks bad but people are watching so please just let him go. It isn't as serious as it looks" Adam said nervously. Giving them an akward smile and chuckling nervously while scratching the back of his head. It was obvious to the four that the man held something on Adam but decided to let him slide for now. Zed shoved away the now smirking man making the guy stumble a bit. "Pathetic. All of you pathetic" was his final words before leaving the now slumped Adam on the ground and glaring champions behind him. After the guy had left both Eve and Ahri rushed to the laying summoner and lead him back to the table. Giving all of them a nod of appreciation the boy just stared at his half eaten meal and just sighted "Im not hungry anymore, thanks for the help" He was about to leave when he got grabbed by a certain kitsune and by certain demon "We will talk about this later." Adam opned his mouth but was silenced by the glares of the others "*sight* fine I guess."

After the lections were done Adam was once again surprised by the champions as they were waiting for him outside the lection room. He raised an eyebrow but he was obviously not in such a good mood anymore "I weren't aware that I needed a four man escort. May I inquire why?" He said in a slight sarcastic tone but just smiled after that. The smile soon fading away as the others pointed their looks at a certain bully who tried being sneaky. "He has been sitting there for the last half an hour. Ahri saw him and alerted us. We wouldn't want you to get into an "accident" in the way back now would we?" Eve explained while Adam's face morphed into a scowl before nodding. "Thank you, I am also sorry for taking your time for such a pointless task" The group of four just scowled at him before shaking their heads "You might be a summoner but your still one of us. We take care of our own" To this Adam gave a half-hearted smile and waved them to lead the way.

Later in the dorms there was a certain now unhooded summoner facing a 4 slightly scowling champions who were giving him the 'explain yourself' look. "How long has that person given you trouble?" Ahri inquired narrowing her eyes at his expression. After a moment he replies with a bit of a stutter "N-not that long..heh" All of the champions just narrowed their eyes expection being Zed who had his mask on. After a moment of intense staring Adam just slumped his shoulders and gave up trying "The expact time is four years and seventy days. It began when I joined the summoner training program. I was two years younger than most so I got picked on because of it. I learned to endure it after a while." The cahmpions eyes widened a bit at hearing the length of the abuse and the kitsune continued the questioning "Did you even have any friends there?" To this Adam gave a dry laugh "Yeah I did but after he got them kicked out none dared to aproach me. His father was one of the board directors of the program." At this point Adam was about to just cry as he didn't want to remember this. He had slumped down to the floor long ago and was no resting his head against his knees, not looking at the champions "I just hoped I would be free of him in here but seems like my wish was not heard" The interrogators glanced at eachother and walked up to the now mildy depressed summoner "Well unlike before you have friends now. Ones that he cannot control or influence" Ahri whispered softly while rubbing his back to calm him down. Evelynn brought him a shot of something he did not recognize but just shrugged and chugged the drink in one go. Weirdly it did help bit and combined with a hug from Ahri he actually felt better. Sarah and Zed just gave him an reasuring pat before heading out.

After a dinner this time made by Ahri and Sarah the group were now telling stories they deemed fit to be told as entertaiment. Adam was telling a story about a failed experiment he had done in the last semester of the summoner program. "So here I am mixing the bottles without reading the names correctly. It happened that those two mixed in the wrong amnount can cause serious mutations in the person nearby when the concoction is done...It exploded to my face and I inhaled the fumes. Later in the infirmary it was found out that my "life essance" amnount had doubled in size and was regerating six times the normal speed. While not affecting me directly it was something an unseen mutation. That also means that the excess it may produce must be released or used somehow" The champions shared glances and looked back at the now a bit confused boy. "So you just told that you have stronger life essance pool to a Kitsune who literally needs it to stay human? Even with the help from the institute she still needs to feed on it from time to time. Not forgetting that your sharing HER room tonight?" Asked Zed with a curious expression. Hearing this Adam turned to Ahri who had a look that was a mix of predatory stare, fear of rejection and hunger. To ease her quite visible fears Adam thought to go with it. "Yeah, If she needs it to survive im more than happy to help a friend out" The others just looked at him pitifully as the Kitsune changed her seat to be almost hugging him. "So tell me, would you allow me to do it today?" Adam sights and answers with a question "How long has it been since you fed last time?" Everyone else in the room chimed in "Too long, she has become quite hungry." Ahri only pouts at this and Adam gives a hearthy laugh. "Answer is yes Vixen, but where depends on your method" He was not suprised when the others almost panicked and ushered them to Ahri's room.

Ahri couldn't believe it. When she found out about Adam's mutation she feared that he would be scared of her after learning of her condition. But on the contrary he had oftered to not only help her once but keep her stable for the sustance. "Ok, so the way this goes that I can only extract it through a kiss. You will feel exhaustion after this so be prepared." Adam nods and gives him an akward smile "Just for you to know it will be my first kiss...soo be gentle please?" He got a nod accompanied with a comforting smile from the vixen "Then I will make it one you will remember. Get on the bed." Adam was looked at her confused until finally sights "Fine, but no more than a kiss ok?" to which she only nodded. Next time Adam knew was that he was being pinned on the bed by the action of the Kitsune. She was sitting on his chest, gazing into his dark brown eyes with her amber ones. This was till she kissed him. It stared first but then she deepened it and he started to feel the slowly rising exhaustion as she tapped into his essance. She prodded his teeth with her tongue and as he knew no better he granted access to his mouth. There was no fight for dominance. He was inexperienced and she was the direct opposite. After a solid minute or two they separated and Ahri changed position, getting off the now exhausted Adam. Normally the fatigue wouldn't last long but it was late and he was also mentally drained from today. Suddently he felt her hugging him from behind as he was laying on his side having turned his back to her. This ofcourse gave the Vixen the oportunity to spoon him and entangle him with her tails and so she did. "Good Night Adam" Adam who was half asleep just barely got mumbled "Good Night my dear, Im glad to have a friend like you" Unkown to him, she had blushed as she had not made almost any friends outside her dorm companions.

Adam fell asleep entangled in a warm white furry blanket while being hugged by a certain, now happy Kitsune. She was sure of it. The essance thief had finally found someone she liked.
