"so how are you; How are things at home?" he wonders
"oh there good Chris is making Christmas cookies with Rory and Gigi." Lorelai tells him
"oh." he says
"so married life is treating ya well?" he asks her
"oh,um yeah it's great." she tells him and smiles

"yeah Rory's really gotten used to having her dad and Gigi around and it's great she loves it." she tells him

"yeah ofcourse I do someday but not now I mean Rory hasn't even graduated from college yet." she tells him

"ya know I just figured that I would let her finish and go off and start her own life then think about having another." she tells him
"what did Rory have to say about this?" he wonders
"I haven't told her yet." she tells him
"why not?" he wonders
