Sherlock detests sleep. Avoids it whenever possible. At least that's how it used to be. Now he sleeps quite regularly. Even on cases. But only in the back of a cab.This is because of a certain jumper-wearing doctor that shares the cabs with him. Fluff!

Okay - hey everyone. No this is not a chapter. But it's the only way I know of to contact all the readers of this story. I was originally planning on When He Sleeps to be a fluffy little one-shot. I wasn't even sure it was worth posting since it was just plotless fluffiness. However I've gotten a surprising reaction to it and several request for a sequel.

I debated on whether I should expand this story with more chapters but decided in the end to have a separate story as a sequel so those who enjoy this as just a one-shot can continue to do so. The sequel is called When He Wakes (creative name right?) so if you're interested click on over to my profile to read it. It will be a two-shot in which they get over their "sleeping pretense" and become a couple. Of course – how else can it end?

Also – I just want to take a minute and thank everyone who has read/reviewed/favorited and/or alerted this story. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!
