In the state of Washington there is a small town named Forks. In this town live the Cullens and the Swans. The families have been friends for decades and remain friends to this day. It is the men of the household the tie the families together.
Carlisle Cullen is a Doctor at Forks Hospital and lives with his wife Esme Cullen and son Edward Cullen. Carlisle is 37 years of age, Esme 35 and Edward 14. Carlisle went to school with Charles Swan.
Charles is also 37 years of age and is the Chief of Police in Forks and lives with his wife Renee Swan, 36, and their only daughter Isabella Marie Swan who is 13 years old.
When Charles and Carlisle where young they went to school together and grew up together and hold a relation similar to brothers. Carlisle met Esme in college and she introduced Charlie to Renee, his now wife.
However what their children's relationship holds is something so much stronger than friends, they are they are experiencing feelings that are new to them and they don't quite understand what they are. They are however, destined to be together.
When the children where born the parents decided that they would be a perfect couple because of the family ties and so it was decided that Isabella and Edward, would be a married when the time was right.
As soon as they where old enough, and ready, the ceremony would be held in the Cullens' mansions courtyard as it was big enough to hold the ceremony and would save money.
The parents are planning the wedding already, throwing random questions as much as they can without looking suspicious. They are planning to tell the kids on their 16th birthday. In three years time.
However what they did not plan for, is what was coming straight for them. With drastic consequences that could result in Edward and Isabella kept apart for longer than the Hen and Stag nights.
