Nicky lay on the couch, and started crying. Why was love so unfair? Why is it when you find your true love, that your true love doesn't love you back? Well that's what was happening to Nicky…
Or was it?
Rod had (surprise, surprise) had lied again. He didn't have to go to work today, it was one of his (very rare) days off! Rod sat down on the park bench, and started crying. He had to face facts, Nicky didn't, or would never, love him.
"Rodney, you okay?"
Rod looked up to see Christmas Eve, looking down at him.
"Yeah, I…no, I, I mean…" Rod stammered.
"You no need explain Rod, inside." Christmas said, bringing him into her (and Brain's) apartment.
*In Christmas Eve's apartment, like 10 minutes later*
"I, don't know what to do, Christmas Eve…"
"Rod, you need to talk Nicky." Christmas Eve explained.
"I, oh no! Christmas Eve! No, I couldn't, never!" Rod said, horrified.
"RODNEY! YOU LISTEN!" Christmas Eve shouted. "Nicky, need know truth." She said soothed.
"I'll…try." He said reluctantly.
"Good, for best."
"Okay, thanks. Christmas Eve." Rod said as he left the apartment.
*Rod 'n' Nicky's apartment*
"Nic..Nicky. We need to talk." Rod said, opening the door and looking in, sheepishly.
"Rod, I, yeah we do. I, I mean, yeah we do." Nicky agreed.
"You could've just said 'yes'." Rod laughed, more relaxed.
"Huh, yeah, you're right." Rod was surprisingly happy now.
Rod smiled and sat on the couch,
"So, what did you want to tell me?" Rod smiled Nicky sure was hot.
