Tivan sighed. "I will return my dear."
He caressed my cheek before turning around to leave.
"No." I said firmly.
Tivan glared. "What?"
"If you leave me alone..." I paused. "They could come back and kill me!"
I started panicking. "They could come back to finish the job!"
"No..." He sighed again, making his way back to me. "Luminosa, they won't."
"Take me with you, please!" I begged, as he stood over me. I wrenched my arms around his neck, sobbing profusely.
"You'll just be getting in the way, my dear." Tivan said, meeting my eyes. "You could get hurt."
"What will you do?"
"I'm going to kill them." He said without missing a beat.
"What if they kill you first?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.
"They have to get to me, and that will be quite a difficult task." Tivan replied, certain that he would succeed. "I have unlimited power my jewel."
"Korath is a warrior."
Tivan shot me a glance. "It does not matter what he is. He will be dead."
