Hi and thanks for all of the support! Time for chapter 2 of Sakura Blossoming!

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.

The sun rose over Konoha, illuminating it in a warm glow of light. Clouds drifted by, with pinkish tints on them. Sakura yawned steadily, chucking off the tissues from her bed, as she had been crying almost non-stop the night before. But now, she knew what she wanted to do and what her new goal in life was.

I'm so proud of you, Sakura. Inner congratulated, happy by the fact that she was going to stop being useless from now on. But as it's around 6:30 this morning, let's get this shit on the road and train our asses off!

I was just thinking the same thing! Sakura smiled, helping herself out of bed. Today was definitely a new day for the pink-haired Genin. She then did her usual morning routine, which consisted of showering, brushing her teeth and other important methods. She then also did a totally new thing by deciding to pack more weapons with her, to aid her in the training she'd be doing later. She also slipped some home-made rice balls, Japanese omelet and a bit of sushi in her bag. All of those activities added up to less time than in the days when she'd usually waste her whole morning applying makeup to her face and combing her hair so then she could try and attract Sasuke.

"Well, I'm a different girl now!" Sakura hummed to herself, as she ditched her usual outfit for one that would be more comfortable for training. She now wore white ninja leggings, with a black fishnet top and a comfortable but rich white jacket. For once, Sakura seemed to be wearing clothes that were of the utmost appropriate level. Pleased with her attire, she packed her bento box into her bag and set outside to do some training.

Happily, Sakura arrived at one of the many training areas in Konoha and started to meditate, so that she could clear her brain before she could get onto doing more challenging things. The cold air nipped at her feet; it was an exceptionally foggy morning. The mist surrounding the village was so intense that you could not see anything that was more than a meter ahead.

Sakura…what in the hell are you doing? Meditating isn't going to make us stronger. Inner sighed.

Like you would understand what's going to make us stronger. Now shut up, so that I can be at peace!

Wow. You have no idea what you're doing, do you? I thought that your change of heart did come rather abruptly yesterday.

I am NOT temperamental! I have to admit, though, that I did change my mind a bit too fast yesterday…

As Sakura continued to converse with her inner self, she had totally forgotten about the fact that she should be training. And then, when she finally got to remembering why she was out on a training ground in the early hours of the morning, another presence joined them.

"Sakura-Chan? I didn't know you were here!" A loud, cheerful voice snapped her out of her revere.

He's here…maybe he can help us with training! Inner suddenly screeched, forcing Sakura to cover her ears in anguish. She could deal with one loud voice, but two of them were just too much for her to handle.

"Oh, hi Naruto!" Sakura waved back at her new teammate. Remember Sakura…be nice to him! She reminded herself.

"I didn't know you could train, Sakura!" Naruto yelled, plopping himself beside her on the ground. This caused an anime vein to pop on her forehead. She didn't know that Naruto thought so low of her!

"Well, I have to admit I can't. Maybe you could help me, eh?" Sakura admitted shocking Naruto immensely, as Sakura had never tolerated him being around for so long.

As soon as those very words left Sakura's mouth, Naruto's face lit up tenfold. Finally, one of his teammates was opening up to him!

"Do not worry, Sakura-Chan!" Naruto stuck up a thumb and winked at his comrade. "I will do whatever it takes to aid you on your journey!"

Sakura smiled.

Maybe her change of heart was for the best!
