A/N: So I felt like writing something fun again. This can be see as an addition to the previous chapter, just a short moment in cruise-Quinn & Santana's life.

"Remind me again why I agreed to this" I sighed loudly when Quinn shut the car door and sat in the drivers seat. My arms were folded over my chest as I looked straight ahead. I didn't really care if I was acting like a child.

"Because you've never been, San" Quinn replied.

"I haven't tried heroin, but that doesn't mean I should" I retorted in a weak effort to change her mind, but she had already started the car and was backing up from the driveway.

"Camping isn't an addictive opiate, Santana" Even though I wasn't looking at her I could sense she was rolling her eyes at me. Okay, so maybe I was being a little over dramatic, but camping, really? "I think you'll enjoy yourself, and you even said that it would be fun with me" She said with a shrug and I huffed.

"But not during the only weekend we've both had off in months" I exaggerated a frown, hoping it would make her feel a little guilty. With Quinn's publishing contract came lots of extra hours spent traveling and late nights writing, and I had took on a part time job as a dance instructor for kids to increase my income since we were planning on finding a place together. When my frown and complaining was met with silence and a quirked eyebrow from Quinn, I sighed again. "If I'm covered in mosquito bites, you won't hear the end of it from me" I told her, and I could see a hint of a smile from the corner of my eyes.

"You're lost, aren't you?"

"I am not lost. I'm just unsure of our whereabouts" Her last words were said quicker and I couldn't help but laugh. Even when I tried to be annoyed with her, she made me smile. She totally had me whipped. Goddamit Santana.

"If you had let me bring my phone, I could have found our way by now" Quinn had insisted that cellphones would ruin the 'camping experience'. It's like she was purposefully trying to make this worse for me.

She shushed me and reached over me to grab the map that was in the compartment beside my seat, planting a soft kiss on my cheek at the same time. Did she really think a peck like that was going to make me forget the fact that we were lost on our way to camp? Okay, maybe it did a little.

"You know I love you, right?" Uh oh.

"How far off are we?"

Her face told me everything I needed to know.

I guess the good thing about this was that we were going to be spending one night less in a tent. The campground check in was going to be closed when we arrived because of us getting lost, so we checked in at a nearby motel for that night.

I heard a loud groan and saw Quinn poking the mattress with a disgusted grimace on her face. "This bed is so stiff" I heard her say, and I glared at her.

"Oh, so you're fine with us sleeping on the ground in tents, but a mattress in a room is too hard and you're complaining?"

When I let myself fall down onto the bed and my back hit the hard mattress I did my best not to show my discomfort. "It's not that bad" I lied, but I knew she could see right through me and I laughed. "You don't get to complain, blondie, all of this was your idea" I reminded her. "And fault" I mumbled.

"D'you say something, dear?" Her emphasis on the pet name should have warned me of what was about to happen, and I soon felt a warm body on top of mine, wiggling slightly. "Hm. Much better"

I laughed as I wrapped my arms around her, kissing her lips softly.

"I hope you're not expecting to stay on top like that all night" I said with a grin as I leaned in to kiss her.

"Wanky"

"Hey, that's my line!" I said with a laugh as my legs hugged hers, keeping a firm grip before I flipped us over. The temporary shock on her face wasn't missed by me, and I couldn't help but feel a warm wave take over my body as I looked at her. "Stop staring. I know my boobs are amazing, but they're getting a little creeped out by you right now" I said as I caught her gaze downward with a smirk.

Quinn licked her lips as stared unbashedly, and I almost audibly gulped at her lustful stare.

She definitely didn't stay on top.

One thing I had discovered about Quinn that hadn't been obvious when we started dating was how clumsy she was. She always managed to trip over something, and I don't think I can remember a day where she hadn't spent quality time with the floor in some way.

So when she tripped over her own feet as they were walking beside the lake to fall head first into the shallow water, laughter was my first reaction. Her blonde hair was a mess as her head surfaced, sticking to her rosy cheeks.

"San!" She said, trying to sound irritated but I knew that she was on the edge of laughing as well.

I wasn't a terrible girlfriend, though, so I extended my hand to help her up. As soon as her hand touched mine I regretted my decision, and my regret was confirmed when I shrieked as I felt my body come into contact with the rather cold water.

I could hear her melodic laugh already as she wrapped her arms around me. "You are such a bitch" I said as I looked down at us, shaking my head with a hint of a smile.

"I'm sorry" She said in that cute voice of hers she used whenever she wanted something from me. It was pretty hard to deny her anything. Thus why we were camping in the first place. "Actually, I'm not. Your boobs look even better now" She smirked as she looked down at my now transparent top, before glancing back up and kissing me quickly. She grabbed my hand before she slowly walked back to shore, dragging me with her.

"And I thought I was the horndog in this relationship" Even though I couldn't see her, I knew she was rolling her eyes. "Nice butt, blondie" I said teasingly when she let go of my hand, giving me an opportunity to slap her ass.

I was met with a glare, a laugh, and push backwards into the water. I should have known.
