I woke up with a startling discovery. It started out after getting a certain call from a certain someone. I took the phone to my ear to Haruhi,who was surprisingly quiet.
"Are you there Kyon?"She asked. I answered yes and she kept talking. Since I was so drowsy during that time,all I remembered was this question. She asked me if what I said yesterday was true. I was speechless. I was speechless because first of all,I didn't really know how to answer. Secondly,she said yesterday. That's when I knew the endless week problem had finally eroded at the clock, I was groaning at the fact I didn't even start my homework. It was 1:00 PM. But when I got back to answer Haruhi,I couldn't. I started to panic. I only said it for a last resort. Or did I really like her? Since she started getting edgy,I had no time to think this further. I went through with what I said. I love you. I then heard the phone's call ending tone. I'll never figure out what this girl's thinking.I crawled back into bed, with a bit of stress. I figured saying that would cause me problems,but sleep was more important.
After going through the usual problems of getting up,getting ready for school,and then going up the hill to school ,we new seat changes. And you guessed it, I was right next to Haruhi, except she was sitting in front of me. After looking at her ponytail,I was wondering if what I thought was true. I also wondered about her intentions after hearing my unclear confession. I learned of those intentions in the clubroom.
