Somehow, Artemis didn't see the silhouette behind her throne, watching her every move. The figure moved out from behind the throne nodded to Hestia who returned the gesture with her own.

Hestia watched the figure go back into the shadows and disappear. The last thing she saw before the figure disappeared was its pale yellow eyes looking right where Artemis had flashed away.

3rd Person POV

It was around twilight when Lucius and his friends returned from their weekly hunt. It was necessary for them to only hunt once a week because if they hunted daily, all their prey would be gone within a few months. On their hunt, they were able to kill ten beavers, twelve rabbits, seven turkeys, six pigeons, and a plethora of squirrels and mice.

Just then, Lucius sensed a presence coming from the shadows and he signaled the others to stay hidden. Suddenly, a boy appeared from the shadows, out of breath. Once he catches his breath, he looks around and sees Lucius.

When Lucius saw that the boy was looking at him, he decided to have a little fun and changed his eye color from his natural amber to a severely dark brown.

"Who are you?! What are you?!" Nico DiAngelo, son of Hades, demanded/questioned the person. The person chuckled and looked straight at him with such dark brown eyes, they seemed to be almost pure black.

"Who am I? That's easy; my name is Lucius Corvinus, leader of this pack. As to what am I, that's a little difficult to explain to a mere mortal, but to put it simply, I am what you would call a werewolf. Now what are you doing here Mr. DiAngelo? You are trespassing on sacred land."

"I have come here for Perseus and his pack to help us in a war that we have gotten into. It is believed that without his help, there is no possible way that we can win."

"And how do you know that you will lose without his help?" Lucius asked, already knowing how they'll lose without his help, but he didn't want them to become suspicious.

"Well, Lucius, we know this because of a prophecy that was given to us by our Oracle." Nico explained, wary of the gathering wolves around him.

"May I hear the prophecy, demigod?"

"Of course, here it is,

Soon old foes shall arise again,

Enemies that were thought to be trapped in chain,

Both Rome and Greece combines,

To seek out the help of the canines,

The leader of them will be the Savior of Olympus,

The forgotten hero, the missing leader, for his name is Perseus,

Should you not seek out for the canine's assist,

Everything you know will surely cease to exist."

After hearing the prophecy, Lucius had an idea of who this Perseus was. There was a rumor that the former leader of the pack, who was now roaming across the country, was there when Kronos attempted to destroy Olympus 100 years ago.

"I am sorry Nico, but Perseus is no longer in this pack, he died about a month ago, when he sacrificed himself by dragging himself and a powerful werewolf into the ocean. It is a shame to, he was the best leader we ever had."

"He was kind, compassionate, loyal, but also very fierce and powerful at the same time. Whenever there was trouble, he would always be on the front lines, fighting alongside with the pack." Lucius stated.

Just then, a girl with sky blue eyes and light brown hair walked up next to Lucius with a sad smile on.

"He was also very good with kids. He would teach them and help them learn the basic skills of hunting and surviving in general." She said, sniffling a little. Lucius rubbed her back in comfort.

"It's alright Abby, you know that he's living well in Elysium waiting for you. I just know it."

Nico looked closer at the girl. She had hair the color of milk chocolate and eyes the color of the sky. She was athletically built, but just enough to where it wasn't overly grotesque. All in all, she was very beautiful. Nico, regaining his composure spoke up,

"Excuse me, but who exactly are you?" Nico questioned the girl.

Abby looked up and Nico noticed that the girl was wearing a blue and green necklace with a ring attached that was shaped like ocean waves. On top of it was a 2 karat white diamond.

"My name is Abigail Friese, but you can call me Abby. My father was a descendant of Peter Stumpp and my mother was a Spanish innovator " She said putting her hand out. Nico hesitantly shook it.

"Wait, Peter Stumpp was accused of being a serial killer, not of being a werewolf. He's only known as the "Werewolf of Bedburg".

"Actually, history has it wrong. Peter Stumpp, in fact, really was a werewolf."

"Back to the topic at hand, what's your relationship to Perseus?" Nico asked her.

"Perseus was, what you humans might call, my fiancé. He sacrificed himself two weeks before our wedding, that fucking idiot!" Abby yelled, her eyes flashing blood red before going back to their original sky blue.

"Whoa, calm down Abby, you know what happens to you when you get angry. We don't want another incident to happen again, now do you?" Lucius said cautiously. Abby nodded and sighed.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever, I'm going to bed. Goodnight Lucius." Abby waved and walked inside the building.

Abby POV

Why did that idiot have to die?

Why did Percy have to be so selfish?

Didn't he ever think about how I feel?

No! I swore to not think about it, it's the past.

All I need to think about is the future.

I need to stop thinking about Percy, that's what he'd want.

I walk to my room, these thoughts going through my head. I open the door and even though it's been a month, the room still feels empty. I close the door and walk to the queen sized bed that I have all to myself.

Though, it didn't just used to be only mine, it used to be mine and Percy's. Once he proposed, he moved into my room. All we did was cuddle, so don't get any funny ideas!

I plop down onto the bed and cover myself underneath the soft duvet. I slowly fall asleep to the scent of sea breeze.

I open my eyes and see that I'm lying in a field of flowers. I remember this, this was where Percy and I had our first date. I sit up and look around and find Percy lying right next to me with his eyes closed, resting peacefully.

I smile and quietly slide next to him and wrap my arms around him and give him a light peck on the cheek. His eyelids flutter open and when he spots me, he smiles, one of which melts my heart at the very sight of it.

"Hey Abby, how are you doing?" He asks me.

"I'm fine now that you're here with me." I said scooting closer into him.

"But only in your dreams I'm with you, I'm not with you really." Percy said frowning.

"Don't say that, of course you're with me right now." I said shaking my head, not wanting to accept reality

"But don't worry any longer Abs, I'm soon going to be with you shortly." He said cryptically.

"I don't understand what you're saying. What do you mean? Aren't you here right now Percy?" I asked him, not getting what he was saying. How can he say that when he's dead. This is a dream after all.

"You know what I mean Abby. Soon enough, we'll be reunited and we can get married. Do you still have the ring?" Percy asked me.

"Of course I do, but Percy, don't promise the impossible please. It'll make me very upset if you lie." I responded to him, not sure whether to believe him or not.

"Don't worry Abby, I'm not lying. Just wait Abby, soon you'll be able to wear that ring proudly when I'm by your side." Percy said, pulling me closer, letting me feel the warmth coming from him.

"When will you come Percy? I don't think I can stand one more day without you. Everyday hurts not seeing you, not hugging you, not kissing you, it all hurts Percy. It hurts." I told him, meaning every word I said. It was true, it really was a challenge everyday not being able to see Percy.

"By this time tomorrow, I'll be right by you with you in my arms." He said to me reassuringly.

"Pinky promise?" I asked him childishly, extending my pinkie out to him. He laughed at me and nodded, crossing his pinkie with mine.

"Pinky promise" He said, and then kissed me, ending my perfect dream.

The story in the beginning is going to be Percy/OC, but don't worry Pertemis fans, it'll become a Percy/Artemis story eventually. Just you guys wait and see.
