The first training session

The team came back to the zeta tube area which also served as the training room and mission room. They saw Asgard getting ready to leave and Trixi talking to him, still in her civilian clothes. 'You'll be back for my birthday, right dad?'

'Yes, I'll be back in time for your birthday my little trickster. See you then.'

'Bye, dad.'

'Recognised, Asgard, 27.' The zeta tube said as it powered up and he became a beam of light and vanished. 'All right, let's get this party started.' Black Canary said as the program for the training room started up. 'Now, seeing as it's Pia's first session, I figured that we can use powers or "talents" when sparring to show Pia what her teammates can do. Now, let's see. Sparring partners. Artemis and Wally, you're up first. I suggest you stand back.' Black Canary warned. Artemis and Wally had a fair fight but in the end, Artemis won. 'Ok. Good. Wally, make sure you don't rely on speed all the time and run in circles around your enemy. It won't work. Zatanna and Robin.'

Training continued in that way. The partners sparred, they got feedback, next two came up. After Conner and Robin, it was Zatanna and Aqualad. 'Alright, lucky last, M'gann and Pia.'

'Pia?'

'Yeah?'

'Shouldn't you change?'

'Yeah.'

'So?' Then, Pia started levitating higher and higher as her eyes turned purple like when M'gann linked up the team. Since Pia was on the far side of the training circle, everyone saw what happened. Suddenly, a gust of wind came around and started to swirl around Pia. With her arms slightly outstretched, a purple glow started from her toes and worked up, revealing a pair of black boots, raised at the front - covering her knees - with gold accents, a long black coat that reached to just above her ankles, with gold on the wrists and next to the lapels, purple lapels and two purple stripes next to the lapels, under the gold stripe, black pants with another panel of cloth over them with accents of purple and gold, purple fingerless gloves and a golden helmet with two long horns arching up and back.

'Woah.' came Wally's reply.

Pia and M'gann got into ready positions. When Black Canary gave the word M'gann attacked using telekinesis at Pia. Pia started to use telekinesis back at M'gann. She then went on the offensive and her eyes started glowing purple again. Then the next thing shocked them. They saw little streaks of light, dancing in Pia's hands. The realised what it was. Lightning. Then Pia directed a little at M'gann but not so much that it hurt her much but just as a little distraction. While M'gann rubbed her side where the lightning had hit her, Pia duplicated herself so they were ten different Pias around the circle. M'gann tried to figure out which one was the real one and it proved tricky. While she was preoccupied with that, Pia snuck up behind and gave a large sweep to the other girl's legs and knocked M'gann over. Miss Martian: FAIL. The system said as Pia helped M'gann up. 'Well done girls. Pia, that was amazing! Who taught you all that?'

'Dad did. He taught me all the tricks of the trade. Except he's more of a warrior and that instead of summoning lightning, he summons fire. Oh about that, sorry M'gann.'

'Perfectly fine. By the way, can you use mind speech?'

'How do you think I asked Dad if I could tell you my name before?'
