Daisies

"Severus! Severus!"

It was a warm afternoon in Cokeworth. The skies were clear and blue, just how Lily Evans liked it. She had told Severus Snape to meet her in the daisy field near her house. Lily knew she was just tempting her older sister, Petunia, to be nosy and ruin their fun, but she loved that daisy field. They was a lovely apple tree right in the middle of it were her and Severus would talk for hours.

It was their little spot.

But, Severus was late. It was rare of Lily to ask Severus to come outside as he was normally the one to ask first. Lily said it was a surprise and that he should come to the daisy field. Severus did give her a questioning look, but he agreed and said he would come the next day.

Lily began to worry slightly when she made her way up the mini hill and he wasn't there waiting. It wasn't like Severus to be late. He was normally already there staring at her strangely, like he always did, when they meet up. Lily was about to make her way down the hill and head to Severus' house when-

"Boo!" Severus appeared in the tree upside down, legs curled on a sturdy branch. Lily squeaked, took a step back and fell backwards over a rock.

"Lily!" Severus shouted, climbing down the tree. Lily laid flat on the grass, stirring.

"Severus!" Lily moaned, rubbing her sore head.

"I'm so sorry!" Severus said to the redhead helping her sit up.

Lily was about to berate the greasy haired boy about scaring her like that, but she when she saw the look on Severus' face she closed her mouth shut. He looked so apologetic almost waiting for her to scream her mouth off.

"It's okay Sev. You just gave me a fright, that's all." She said gently, getting up and wiping the grass off her jeans. off. She had never called him Sev before, but the nickname came so naturally out of her mouth. She didn't see Severus' huge grin on his face, cheeks lightly tinted with pink.

"So, what did you want to show me then?" Severus said, back to his curious self.

"This!" Lily said, with a bright smile, pulling something out of her pocket.

"No way! You got your wand already!"

Hope you liked it! It wasn't supposed to go in chronological order, so I might just mix it up next time.
