Moonlight Sonata

"But… this song sucks."

"Victoria, language." Lucius said with a slightly chuckle.

"Sorry, Mr. Malfoy." She said half-heartedly.

"Now, play." He said gentle, standing beside the piano.

She reluctantly did as she was told, holding herself in the correct position and going through the notes of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. She did so flawlessly, having mastered the song a few days before. When she hit the last note she turned with an annoyed look, "See? Mastered."

"Good." Lucius said with a smirk, "Now do it again."

She grumbled to herself and turned to do as she was told. Lucius walked around the room as she played, studying her from different angles. Victoria played with perfect posture and with grace in her finger tips. Her eyes were closed, the notes only visible to her minds eye.

He smiled at her, something he did regularly when she couldn't see. He walked over to his desk and quickly located a sheet of cream colored parchment and looked down at it with a satisfied nod. Victoria's lyrics rested underneath the notes he had composed to match her song. Silently, he switched the music out and stepped back to his place beside the piano.

When she had finished, she opened her eyes. After skimming the music quickly she began to play. A concentrated smile grew from the narrowed look she had worn for Beethoven. Again he walked around her, but paused behind her. He leaned down to kiss her head before exiting, leaving her with the silence she needed.
