Hey guys! Merry Christmas, each and every one of you!
I apologise for publishing this late after Christmas as it's Boxing Day here. It's been like over a month since the last chapter of The Raven's Words.
I hope you all had a good time opening presents and spending time with your family.
We'll see Veran and Catina celebrating their first Christmas together as a couple. Not only they will be opening presents that their creator got in real life, but Catina will also bring you some news about their creator's story, Veran and Catina.
I hope you enjoy this Christmas special.
Catina turned the camera on as the lens pointed at Veran near a stack of presents that were under the Christmas tree. The raven smiled as he knew this was his favourite time of year, despite his little knowledge of the world around him.
"Hello everyone, and welcome to our Christmas special of The Raven's Words." Catina introduced.
"Is the camera on again, dear?" Veran asked.
Catina nods, and then went over to Veran. She put a wing around his shoulder and smiled.
"Veran and I will be opening our presents that our creator got for Christmas. We only have three of them here." Catina said.
"I'm looking forward to this." Veran said.
The mixed-species couple went through the presents and arranged them from smallest to biggest. Veran went ahead and opened the smallest present first.
"Do you know what this is?" Veran asked.
"It's a manga book called Miriya and Marie. It's about this girl who meets a cat called Marie from The Aristocats, and she teaches her about witchcraft." Catina said.
Veran stared at the cover of the book as he was in a trance seeing the white kitten. Catina coughed a bit until Veran blinked his eyes and put the book back under the Christmas tree.
I'll read this later, but that kitten is so cute! Veran thought. (If you all don't know, I like Aristocats. I think it's a good film.)
Catina rolled her eyes before her boyfriend went ahead and opened another present, which was slightly bigger than the last present.
"Catina, is this supposed to be a game of some sort?" Veran asked.
"Yes, it is." Catina replied. "It's a game called Trivial Pursuit. It's where you answer questions and collect pieces of a wedge."
Veran tilted his head before understanding what his girlfriend meant.
"I see, but I'll might not be good at this game." Veran sighed.
"Why's that?" Catina asked, hugging him.
"It's just most of the questions will be hard." Veran replied.
Catina looked under the Christmas tree to find only one present left. The present is very long and felt heavy, but most importantly, she knew it was from the jolly old man himself by looking at the label.
"Santa brought you this last present, Veran." Catina said, smiling.
"Who's Santa?" Veran asked, confused.
"He's a man that has long hair, big beard and wears everything red and black. He travels around the world to deliver gifts to good children around the world and heads back to his home, the North Pole." Catina said.
"I'm a bit shocked he would give me a present. I'm not even a person, I'm a bird!" Veran exclaimed.
He opened the present and was shocked to see what was in front of him. Catina felt the same feeling too.
"You got a scooter!" she said.
Veran grinned as he got onto his scooter and rode it around the hollow, until he crashed into the Christmas tree.
"Veran, are you okay?" Catina asked.
"I'm good."
A mistletoe then landed on the raven's head. Catina didn't hesitate to kiss him on the beak as the latter kissed her back. They then released themselves from the kiss.
"Ride the scooter outside, for a change." Catina whispered.
Veran nods as he and his girlfriend looked at the camera and smiled.
"Thanks for watching us open our presents." Veran said.
"We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!" Catina said.
Before Catina went over to the camera, she waited for Veran to take the scooter outside. She then holds the camera.
"One last thing, I see you are all wondering when the next chapter of Veran and Catina will be up." she whispered. "Well, our creator has just started writing it. However, you will all have to wait until January 2019 when the chapter is finished and ready to be uploaded onto Fanfiction. I'll see you all in our next video."
She turned off the camera and went outside the hollow to see where Veran had gone with his scooter.
In reality, I had about twenty-seven presents, but Veran and Catina only showed you three of them. We'd be here all day if that was the case.
